One of the sweetest, most wonderful shops in South Park, San Diego. So many cute books and gifts and their child section is so precious! We had purchased a little wooden picnic set and upon coming home and opening, realized the handle from the basket was missing. The ladies at the Gold Leaf were so accommodating and mailed us the replacement handle the next week. Amazing customer service and can't wait to visit again!

This is my favorite store for gift-buying in ANY of the surrounding neighborhoods! (NP, Normal Hts, University Hts, Kensington, SP) Great selection of mostly-local handmade jewelry, gifts for the dudes in your life, housewares, and baby/kiddo gifts. Staff is friendly, it always smells great in there, and the only downside is that you have to be mindful not to blow your budget!

I absolutely love this shop and am so glad it is in our neighborhood. Much, much more originality than most gift shops in SD. Really nice mix of clean, modern design and some cool vintage finds. We furnished half of our studio with stuff we found here and everyone that comes over thinks we are really cool and stylish now :)

Lots of cute stuff and candles smell amazing. They carry different types of candles I’ve not seen elsewhere, first time visiting but was slightly disappointed as when I walked in it took the worker to acknowledge me, I get it sometimes it’s busy but there was only one other person in there, when she rang me up there was no type of conversation and seemed kinda snobby. I’d go there again but with way lower expectations and as to not be disappointed with customer service. Ended up buying some cool crystals, check them out, for a good price. If I’d offer advice is greet your customers and say goodbye as they make a small business thrive.

Nice place for gifts and household items. Goods lean toward modernist and contemporary tastes. Most items are made outside of the area with very few San Diego regional items. Prices are moderate-to-high relative to other gift shops in the region though tend to be in line with South Park/Downtown/East Village.

Love this little indie boutique! The owner has stocked so many great giftable home goods, it’s my first stop when I’m searching for a quick birthday gift or treat for a friend.

If you are looking for magic, go to Gold Leaf you are bound to find it. It might be in the form of a bracelet, a suncatcher, steak knives, a candle, car air freshener, gift ribbon, a hair pin, a bowl, a tray, palo santo, lotion, hair clip, stickers, temporary tattoos, a book a journal. I'm telling you the magic is there you just have to find it. The shop with its rustic and cozy vibes immediately draws you in. Lots of bright and shiny colors. You turn the corner and muted subtle colors are all beautifully displayed on a table. The store is absolutely curated in/by themes. I always want to touch everything. I've learned to refrain from doing so unless I seriously intend to purchase. A true browser I suppose. Because the store is so beautiful and each item so perfectly curated, I like to do one round while taking a mental note of items I like. Once I've looked at everything I go back and pick up the items I want to purchase. Of course, if there is an item I know I want from the get-go, I hold on to it tightly and make sure not to lose it while shopping around. Highly recommend stopping into Golden Leaf at some point.

I usually wander in here to just give my eyes pretty things to look at, and I walk out with a little something unexpected that I didn't know I needed. Yes, it's dangerous, but it is one of the more affordable boutiques in San Diego.

Pleasantly surprised to see this mouse collection here at Gold Leaf! A variety of goods here that are great gifts! From baby to earrings to cooking and housewares. Gold Leaf is awesome. My niece can't wait to open her Christmas Present.

Gold leaf is a one stop shop for all your gifting needs in South Park. They have gifts for everyone, even little kids. They have so many curated goods for the home. Candles, kitten utensils, decor, incense, and even cocktail mixers. They also have journals and jewelry. Every time I stop in, I buy something! I love supporting local small businesses.

Any visit you make to South Park has to include of course this shop it is my go to place when I need to pick up a last minute gift for somebody or for my hard to shop for people in my life that I just don't know what to get them I go to Gold Leaf. You will find something there that you absolutely will think is perfect for the person. Also there's so much great stuff there you're going to end up getting something for yourself too !! There's a vibe in that place when you walk in the door its just peace and serenity all over the place. Love it !!!

I loved the cutest small things you can find for you little ones here! I was in the area so I stopped by to check if they have anything I can add to our house! Ended up finding a vintage shelves I now use for my skincare stuff. But they do have so much more! Be sure to stop by and check what they have! You'll find a ton of gift ideas!

Cute little shop. Great for a gift or personal shopping day. My friend had a candle from here and we went back for another. Sadly, they were out of them but they had a ton of other options. Really great decor for hour home too!

A great little gem in South Park! I stumbled into the shop as i was waiting for my haircut appointment across the hall. They have everything - jewelry, clothing, candles, cookbooks, skin care, bar cart supplies. You name it, I'm sure they have it. The shop is set up nicely and everything is on display in according areas of the store. I was in on a Saturday afternoon and there was a good sized crowd in there. There was one employee working. I came back after my haircut and got a gua-sha and a scent infuser stick pack (not really sure what they're called - sorry!). The scent is amazing! And I've been needing a new gua-sha since my last one broke. The girl working was so sweet and kind. Overall a great cute little shop. I'm sure I'll wander around after all my hair appointments from now on.

Gold leaf has been my go-to place to buy birthday gifts for friends for almost a year now. The aesthetic of the shop and quality of the items is hard to pass up, I can always find something sweet here to gift to a loved one.

Have you ever fallen in love with a store? I have. I just finished having a late lunch with my family across the street and we decided to explore the area. The "garage" set up of the structure was intriguing and we wandered over to check it out. Even from the outside, Gold Leaf looked beautiful. What I mean by a store looking beautiful is that it looked inviting and welcoming. Not too bright inside, the smell in the air was alluring, and the selection of products were lovely. You can tell that every item picked out took a lot of thought and effort. Nothing out of place, and everything right where it should be. I've gotten overwhelmed with stores in the past but not this place. I could have easily spent an hour perusing the fragrances, room sprays, and all other home decor. It felt like home. Comfy. I made my selection and the young lady at the front was SO lovely. I got the vibe that she was the owner of the manager or something I think. She was so kind and gracious. She carefully wrapped my product and removed the price since it was a gift. I bought myself a room spray and diffuser that she had at the front. It smelled it so nice. She let me know that they also have an online shop which is perfect since I live about two hours away in Los Angeles. She did tell me that I could find these products near my home but I had such a positive experience here. I would love to support them directly and buy my items from here. Just thoughtful. Overall that's the word that comes to mind. Thoughtful. What a warm experience! If you're in the area, please stop by! You won't be disappointed. Lots of great finds for gifts, or a little something to treat yourself. I will definitely be back before my trip is over and I'll make sure to pop in whenever I'm in town to see what's new. Stopped in during South Park Walkabout and can't believe I've never been in before, considering I live down the street! This shop is so cute! There's candles, cute home decor, unique gifts and they even sell the home furnishings that's displayed in the store. It's December so they had so many seasonal, winter stuff; great for stocking stuffers and xmas gifts. Check them out whenever you're in the area.

Cute little store! I absolutely love this place! This place is next to the gym that is inside an old firestation and across from Cafe Madeline. They sella lot of different things from stationeries, household items, to toddler items. This place is definitely worth checking out. I bought a pillow here and even a couple of books. The pillow was a bit pricey but worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful.

My girlfriends and I were having breakfast in South Park. We stumbled across this little gem of a shop while we were walking around the neighborhood. Gold Leaf has a nice selection of home decor, greeting cards, and fun little items that you won't find in a department store. It's a quaint little shop to tootle around in. My girlfriends and I each found something fun to purchase. They have this adorable journal, "99 things that bring me joy". I couldn't resist. The book gives you a prompt, and then you write about things you enjoy. They also have a nice selection of children's books. One in particular was about Rosa Parks. It told the story of how Rosa made history, but it made it easy for children to understand. There were other similar books in the shop. They have a sweet little children's section. A week later, I had to make a return on one of the items I purchased. Sonya was the employee who helped me with the return. She was very helpful and pleasant. It was obvious that she enjoys working at this shop. If you're in South Park, be sure to check out Gold Leaf.

Gold Leaf is a beautiful store with a great curated selection of gifts, cards, jewelry and all sorts of other great stuff! Awesome spot for clever, classy gifts and cool housewares. Sonya and Kevin are great people - really friendly, helpful, and clearly take a lot of pride in the shop. The store is in The Burlingame Garage, which has a lot of other great shops and worth checking out just to appreciate the job done with the remodeled historic space. Check it out!

Cute little shop filled with great gifts and knick knacks. I attended their one year anniversary. they had a good Dj playing music and offered macaroons and deserts for their customers. If you want a unique gift for a friend this is a nice place to come and support the local shop

I LOVE THIS SHOP. Everything in here is so cool and stylish. I just sit around and wait for it to be someone's birthday so I can have a reason to head to Gold Leaf and get them the coolest gift they'll get all day. I've met the owners, Sonya and Kevin, and their son Emerson and they are really sweet people. I am proud to have this shop in our neighborhood.

A neighborhood favorite of mine. Gold Leaf has a perfectly curated home decor section with irresistible items to give your home a unique touch. This is a must-go whenever I need a small but special gift on the fly. I always know there will be something there to please just about anyone- man, woman child and even TEENs!

This store has so many cute things however, when I come in, I never feel welcomed. I've been here a handful of times and never once has the owner greeted me once. I've seen her greet everyone else. I have even purchased items every single visit. I introduced my sister to this store and we were ready to pay and no one acknowledged us at the front register. We saw a couple try to squeeze their way in between us and the owner even said hi to them. I think this store is really cute, but I won't be returning to this one ever. I can't believe I recommended this place to a bunch of my friends. I will be telling them about the customer service I've received.

So happy to see this place finally open! I was able to poke my head in for a quick look around and found the place packed to the gills with a well curated selection of home and decor goods. They've got locally made like no other and would be the perfect place to get something for that friend who's just the coolest...and maybe pick up a duplicate for yourself - because the best presents are the ones you want to keep. So glad to see more of these little gems popping up in the neighborhood.

I wanted to update my review as we recently purchased a couch from Gold Leaf. The process of buying furniture is daunting to me (and especially to my husband who seems to have retail anxiety), but sitting in the store with my husband talking to the owner and other customers, felt like being with friends. It was an extremely low pressure environment. This allowed us to take our time looking at swatches, relaxing on various seating, and getting a feel for what would really work in our home. We ended up selecting a mid-century modern couch in a very kid and pet friendly fabric. The team that delivered our couch was efficient and on time. My family loves our new couch! It looks great in our home and the process of buying it was fun!

Really cute little boutique! I always stop in when I'm in the building for a waxing appointment and I usually find something to buy. I've purchased jewelry, soap, home decor/home goods, and greeting cards both for myself and as gifts. The prices vary quite a bit and most are very reasonable. Worth checking out!

South Park is lucky to have Gold Leaf in our neighborhood! Sonya is ahead of her time when it comes to design and style. She's got the most unique mix of goods - vintage furniture pieces, delicious smelling candles and fun kitchen items. Oh, and ADORABLE children's items. Popped by after lunch from around the corner. I'm really excited about this place. Sonya is very friendly and I love her style. The carefully curated items is what I've been searching for all over San Diego. Looking forward to regularly shopping there for inspiration and unique sourced items.

Such a fun place to look for gifts, decorations for the house, goodies for kids. My sister has gotten me gifts from here throughout the years and I love coming here. I've gotten some of the ceramic animal lights in the past. Today I got four neat postcards. They have a fun craft section with unique wrapping paper, gift tags, greeting cards, and stationary sets. The kiddie section has the famous Jellycat plush which are personally my favorite, awesome mobiles, wall clocks, interactive toys, and fun shelves. There is also jewelry at the front and little last minute gifts. The woman working today was super friendly and nice. The shop is always bringing in fun things!

Looking for a care package for a grieving friend today I found everything I needed: bath products, bar stuff, comforting accessories to hibernate & some nibbles. Well curated, staff was kind & very understanding about my need to get a second opinion & they had an appropriate & perfectly sized gift box too. Icing on the cake when Sonya did the gift wrapping for me while the shop dog let me give him scratches to lighten my heart.
