Drove past this place countless times without realising how good it is. Went with the family and was blown away. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, great service. The beef burger was incredible — juicy and full of flavour with perfect crispy chips. The pork belly crackling was unreal. The lamb croquettes and pumpkin feta side were also delicious. Fantastic food and lovely people. Absolutely worth a visit.

What a stunning venue! The gardens are divine, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks are next level. I enjoyed the best margarita I've ever had, the food was innovative with pairings of flavour that made my taste buds soar. The dessert!!! Oh my word I'm in love. This is my new favourite place to dine. I would recommend to locals and tourists and can't wait to come back. Thank you Amy ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely loved our visit to the Gold Mines Hotel! The food was top quality, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully put together and prices are on point for quality produced with a casual fine dining appeal! I enjoyed the duck leg which was to die for!! aswell as the calamari which was equally as amazing. The service was fantastic too! friendly, fast, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is just perfect, laid-back but classy, with gorgeous historic features and a great vibe whether you’re inside or out in the garden. It’s the kind of place you instantly want to come back to. A must-visit in Bendigo! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Bendigo!

This lovely hotel has a spacious backyard with outdoor seating, surrounded by trees, flowers, and lush greenery. It was such a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal, especially with the beautiful sunny weather. The setting is also perfect for taking photos. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was great too. A wonderful experience overall!

My Husband Jack and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the goldmines last weekend. It was a truly the most beautiful day and place to have a wedding. Amy and all of her staff made the day flow so easy, they did all of the setting up and their service was just amazing! The day went better than I planned in my head. The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests loved the food. My Husband Jack and I couldn’t recommend the goldmines more to have your perfect wedding day!

We celebrated our joint 50th birthday at the Gold Mines, and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. The space is fabulous and classy, with a beautiful courtyard that creates the perfect atmosphere and ambience. Amy, event manager is so professional, ensuring the whole experience from planning to night end was seamless. The wait staff provided excellent service, very attentive to guest needs with drinks and food options. The food was amazing, we chose the cocktail menu (7 dishes) this was perfect mix of dishes. It was a fabulous night in every way – highly recommend GM!

We had lunch here last Saturday. We were greeted by Amy and shown to our table. Lunch was exceptional and so was the lovely friendly wait staff. We had such a great experience we went back on Sunday. We will return next time we are in Bendigo. Many thanks Amy and all the girls. Fiona 😊

Had dinner at the Gold Mines Hotel last night…. Truly blown away, from the moment we entered the beautiful historic building, the experience was unforgettable. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly. Our meals were unbelievable, we begun with the mouth watering Thai fried chicken and throughly enjoyed our Wagyu Porterhouse, which was cooked to a perfect Medium rare ( a must have) and our side of seasonal greens. Overall the night couldn’t have been better, the Gold Mines Hotel is the new spot to go! And we will definitely be back with the family to enjoy the stunning beer garden. We recommend!!

Years ago this used to be a miners' pub. Well, that isn't the case anymore, and it definitely shows it. Like, the interior is just so gorgeous, and in a way one wouldn't expect to find miners in their dirty clothes gracing the halls of this pub anymore. These days it is a pretty fancy place, and a pretty good one at this. For instance, they have a great range of beers, and the beer garden is not only huge, but it is also gorgeous as well. In fact, it looks like they are still working on it. Oh, and it is also across the road from one of the old mining sites, which is why it used to be a miners pub. However, yeah, it's pretty cool.
