My family and I recently spent a fantastic day at Gold Reef City Theme Park, and it was an absolute blast. The park, with its charming gold rush era theme, offers a perfect blend of excitement and entertainment for all ages. We went looking for some fun and thrills, and the park certainly delivered. We started our day with some of the more exhilarating rides. The Runaway Train provided a great start, offering a classic roller coaster experience with plenty of twists and turns. The Storm Chaser was a highlight, with its fast-spinning motion and height providing a real adrenaline rush. We also loved the Wave Swing, which was a more gentle but equally fun experience, and the Tornado, which spun us into a whirlwind of excitement. The Anaconda, in particular, was an unforgettable experience with its high-speed twists and inversions—a definite must-ride for anyone seeking a true thrill. One of the most memorable parts of the day was my son's experience in the Virtual Reality Zone. The immersive VR games transported him to incredible new worlds, and he had a fantastic time. It was a unique and modern touch that added to the park's diverse offerings. Overall, it was a truly fun-filled experience that created some wonderful family memories. The park was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was the perfect day to enjoy some rides, laughter, and quality time together. We had so much fun on the rides we chose, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. We'll definitely be braving the scarier, more intense rides next time to see what else Gold Reef City has to offer!

Awesome! Plenty rides, queues not too bad, lots to do in the day. Parking is free which is great. You need to buy tickets online in advance, but very reasonably priced. Would recommend. 🎢

Nice place where you pay one entry fee and you have unlimited rides on any ride. Just that it gets full and the lines are long,but worth the wait. You won't be disappointed. All and all very good place to visit.

Amazing place to visit to feel like a kid again.. Just be sure to book your tickets online and check which rides are open on the website. Lots of fun and thrilling rides to enjoy. Still to this day well maintained.

Absolutely love coming here! We went on a Thursday because we didn't want the weekend rush. There were so many schools there it was busy! A bunch of the kids were very rude and shoved themselves in the lines and running everywhere. But other than that, it was an absolute thrill! We got there as soon as the gates opened and managed to do all the adult rides and still be relaxed throughout the day finishing at 4pm feeling well full of adrenaline from the rides! The lines were very short in the beginning of the day and started becoming longish (15 - 20 min wait) at around lunch time. The miners revenge was out of order (as usual) but the rest that we did were fun and exciting! Would definitely recommend going through the week if youve got an opportunity, weekend lines can take up to 2+ hours (especially on the anaconda and other big rides). Very clean area and friendly staff who prevented lines cutting when they saw it. The log ride was operational but we didn't go on it due to it being so cold. The raging rapids weren't operational. P.s. the 4D theatre isn't what it used to be, you can't really see the 3d effect much and the chairs dont really move that much so you couldn't really feel the full effect.

The experience is good, The golden loop is something I really enjoyed. The park wasn't busy at the time, which was great. The food and gifts, toys, and merchandise are well priced. I wouldn't want to see this park in peak season time, the other roller coasters other than the Anaconda have tiny seats if you are built like a rugby player, you need the spot to yourself otherwise it's super uncomfortable.
