Gold Reef City Theme Park is perfect for Everyone! I wholeheartedly recommend this park for both families and couples. There's a dedicated kids' area that will keep the little ones entertained for hours, while adults have plenty of options to get their adrenaline fix. If you're an adult who loves a thrill, you absolutely will not be disappointed – Gold Reef City delivers big on excitement! Beyond the fantastic rides and attractions, Gold Reef City also serves as an excellent event venue, offering beautiful rooms for booking. This makes it a versatile destination, whether you're looking for a fun day out or a special place to host an event.

Nice place where you pay one entry fee and you have unlimited rides on any ride. Just that it gets full and the lines are long,but worth the wait. You won't be disappointed. All and all very good place to visit.

Amazing place to visit to feel like a kid again.. Just be sure to book your tickets online and check which rides are open on the website. Lots of fun and thrilling rides to enjoy. Still to this day well maintained.

The experience is good, The golden loop is something I really enjoyed. The park wasn't busy at the time, which was great. The food and gifts, toys, and merchandise are well priced. I wouldn't want to see this park in peak season time, the other roller coasters other than the Anaconda have tiny seats if you are built like a rugby player, you need the spot to yourself otherwise it's super uncomfortable.

I’m 32 and attended the theme park with my wife and both our brothers Ticketing was seamless as we purchased tickets online. Due to us traveling in a Hilux which is deemed as “High Risk”, we were sent through to park in a dedicated area which is very close to the entrance and given a tag 🏷️ that we have to return when we exit to ensure the car isn’t stolen The theme park has lockers you can rent for the day which is pretty cool The waiting times were between 30-40 minutes for rides which is the main reason for me not giving the review 5-stars. Yes, most of the queues are shaded, but it really is a buzz kill when you wait 40 minutes to enjoy a 2-4 minute ride 🫠 Our longer wait times were probably due to a few machines being inactive. Tower of Terror and Miner’s Revenge are standout rides which we were disappointed not to ride due to them being out of action. I mean, it’s the reason why you go to Gold Reef City in the first place! Don’t waste your time at the log ride. We waited the longest there. This was also due to two other logs booked off, leading to extended queue times. The best ride for me has to be Golden Loop! 5/5! And because it takes about 30 people per ride, the queueing time is really short! 👏🏽👏🏽 The food is excellent with great mini-donuts and slush! Parking, lockers, food, clean toilets are nice and all, but we go to Gold Reef City for maximum enjoyment from the rides and that was sadly a low point for me. Don’t forget to smile when you’re on the rides as you can purchase a digital 📸 of your experience for R20!

Awesome theme park with lots of rides. You can pay to use as many rides as you want all day long. There are restaurants, shops and even a hotel if you wish to stay there. Not recommended to go in the winter as some rides take longer to open and water rides are, well, cold. Even if you buy tickets online, you'll have to get in line to get your pulse strap to enter, so make sure to go early.

We had a wonderful time at Gold reef city this past Monday. It was nice and not too full which meant we hardly waited in a queue for any of the rides. Getting into the theme park was easy and quick.

Always a nice experience even though the queues get craaaaazy... lol tower of terror seems not to be operational anymore, second time going there without it working... but the rest we very well operational and thrilling as always. A very good spot to take children for their birthdays.
