A wonderfully rustic and authentic experience. Not too commerical, exceptional staff who bring the place to life and plenty to see and do. We spent hours here looking at all the exhibits, paning for gold and just getting lost in time. This is perfect for a family outing and for children of all ages. Entry costs $25 for adults and $15 for children. Kids under 5 are free. On sight camping and cabins are available if you want to stay the night and enjoy all the nearby town of Mogo has to offer. A highly recommended experience into Australia's gold mining past.

Very friendly and helpful lady at the shop. Entry is $65 for family but it is worth it. This fee includes a tour and a lesson on how to use the pan to find gold. My whole family enjoyed the day. We found some gold to cheers us up but not enough to get rich. No restaurants on site. However just a couple of 100 metres on the main road there are some nice restaurants.

Amazing. Must go place if u visit Batemans Bay. Free tour and panning lessons with entrance fee. Tour is very interesting and informative. Brought us back to the gold rush days. Lots of small pieces of gold if u r patient and listen carefully.

Accommodation was good, 2 types. Bunker and Cabin. Cabins are better but the bunkers have more private toilets. frog in the shower too. Food is good! Occasional peacock and peahen sighting! Good activities too

Was an awsome experience, they have a small pioneer village that once was the main street of mogo. Learnt how to pan for gold and was allowed to pan in their water wheel basin. Actually found minute pieces of gold. Great for kids

A lot of history here. And our guide Jody was awesome, so knowledgable and with sense of humor 😊 Absolutely must do for kids and adults!
