We had an absolutely wonderful time in Gold Hotel. The food is amazing, the rooms are really good. But the best part was truly the team. Everyone received us so well since the beginning until the last moment. They all are always ready to help and to take care of every single detail. We will never forget our honeymoon in this place that treated us so well. We definitely recommend this very special hotel.

A Perfect Honeymoon Getaway My wife and I stayed at Gold Zanzibar for a full week after an amazing—but exhausting—safari adventure. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The resort is spacious and beautifully maintained, with top-notch service throughout. The animation team is present but never intrusive, allowing guests to relax or join in activities at their own pace. The food was excellent and varied every day, so we never got tired of the options. The all-inclusive package is truly worth it: the quality of both food and drinks is impressively high, and there are also premium extras available for those who want something different. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Everyone was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. This was our first time staying at a CooCoon resort with Azemar, and we were thoroughly impressed. We will definitely choose them again for future holidays around the world. An Unforgettable Easter Holiday Experience -Truly Exceptional! I had the most wonderful Easter holiday experience (three nights stay) with my family, thanks to the exceptional service and hospitality at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating, making us feel right at home. The rooms were immaculate, spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-equipped with modern amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. The food was another highlight: a delicious and diverse spread every day that pleased every palate in our family. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the creativity and thoughtfulness behind the various experiences offered. There was something for everyone: exciting kayaking adventures, fun swimming pool activities for adults and kids (to mention a few), and evening entertainment that brought everyone together such as traditional dances, a live music band, and even a choir performance. Every detail was tailored to celebrate the Easter spirit and cater to the diverse interests of guests. The facilities were top-notch and maintained with great care. Whether relaxing by the pool or exploring the different activities, we always felt well taken care of. All in all, this was a memorable, satisfying, and heartwarming getaway for the whole family. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Our group consisted of 6 adults and 6 kids, and everyone had a fantastic time from start to finish. We celebrated my birthday in a beautiful beach setting that was truly magical. The beach performance by the dancers combined with delicious food made the experience unforgettable. The staff at the hotel are amazing! They are always smiling, friendly, and incredibly helpful, especially with the kids, who loved their playful interactions. The evening shows were impeccable and kept us all engaged and entertained. The food throughout our stay was always fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety that catered to everyone’s tastes. We also appreciated that there were virtually no mosquitoes or insects, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, our time at Gold Zanzibar was a dream holiday. We will definitely be returning! We stayed here for our pre-honeymoon, and it was absolutely worth every cent. The entire experience was flawless — everything is spotless, beautifully organized, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional. The staff strikes the perfect balance: incredibly friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. Every day there’s a new theme or special event, which makes the stay even more fun and engaging. We especially want to highlight three amazing team members: Mr. Kondo (Restaurant Manager): An exceptional leader who keeps everything running smoothly. He motivates his team, leads by example, and isn’t afraid to jump in during busy times — a true professional! Chef Warren (Gold Restaurant): What a talent! He created a spectacular honeymoon dinner for us, absolutely star-level cuisine. He even came to our table personally to check if everything was to our liking. Steven (Service): Among many great service staff, Steven stands out. Always cheerful, always a joy to talk to — he brings that extra sparkle of holiday happiness whenever he’s around! In short: When we return to Zanzibar, this is the only hotel we’ll consider. No other can compare!

Stayed for 3 nights in June 2025. I enjoyed that the buffet options for dinner at premium meat selections like lamb chops and steak. The staff were friendly and the resort grounds are nicely kept up. I definitely would recommend this resort.

We stayed at the hotel from 03/08/2025 to 03/16/2025. We were pleasantly surprised by everything. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, cleaning is done twice a day, the territory is not very large, and accordingly there are not many guests, which has a very positive effect on the rest. There are always free places, both in the restaurant for breakfasts and dinners, and on the sun loungers on the beach and near the pool, which is rare. The beach is large, white sand, a very wide coastline, the water is sometimes blue, sometimes turquoise. In general, the beach is one of the best places we have been, everything is very beautiful. My wife and my friend said every other word "How beautiful it is here"). The service is 5+. The staff is very nice and attentive, from ordinary doormen to managers. We especially liked Makaba (Ali's real name), who speaks several languages ​​​​well, including Russian, which was very convenient for us. The man is very attentive, helped us a lot around the hotel, booking tables, told us details of the best vacation, ordered a taxi and other things. Many thanks to him! The food is decent and varied. Twice a week, dinner is organized on the beach and near the pool with an entertainment program. If we go to Zanzibar, we will definitely return to the Gold Zanzibar Hotel.
