On Location: Rachael Leigh Cook Shares Her Vietnam Itinerary From ‘A Tourist’s Guide to Love’

"The movie purposely skips the Golden Hand Bridge, but did you go there? I totally went to the Golden Hand Bridge. We even say in the movie that it’s awesome, but it's just not steeped in as much history. My mom came out for about 10 days with my kids—they couldn't miss more school, but they came during their spring break—and they absolutely loved it. They've created a theme park after a gondola ride. It takes like 22 minutes to get to the top of this mountain. And then up there is something that I would equate to the scale of maybe like a quarter the size of Disneyland and there are theme park rides up there. There is a giant—I don't want to call it a food hall because it's beautiful—but all these restaurants, it is really worth seeing. The engineering blows my mind. What a gift that we got to experience that together."

It’s a beautiful place for sure. I just wished they would have a section that was meant for photos done by the staff like Disneyland. With the amount of people in the park it’s hard to get a decent photo. Went with a tour group, there is also the French village that is part of tour. Please purchase the priority passes otherwise it will be a long wait.

Had a great time, visiting the bridge, beautiful scenery and there is a lot more than just the bridge. There are lots of food and drink places, as well as a theme park, live entertainment and shops. Its setup like medieval castles with beautiful gradens .The place is very large so lots to see.

It is part Sun World Amusement Park located about an hour drive from Da Nang. The excitement starts moment you sit in a cable car here which takes you 3000 feet above sea level. The cable car ride itself is a great experience passing through mountains, waterfall and clouds. It was opened to public in 2018. The moment you come out of cable car and see this beautiful bridge held by two giant golden stone hands emerging from rocks, your first reaction would be 'Wow' !! Once you walk on this 100 meter bridge, you will feel very calm and soothing sensation in your body. The view from top is just out of this world. It appears as if you are on a different planet altogether. The surrounding mountains, forest, valley below, clouds and passing by cable cars are very scenic and picturesque. A great place for photo lovers. It is one of the best tourist attraction in Vietnam. It is open rom 7 am to 9 pm. Normally it is always crowded.

The Golden Bridge closes earlier than the main attractions and is highly dependent on the weather for clear mountain views. Fog often blankets the area, so spotting the scenery clearly can be a matter of luck. If you happen to visit on a clear day, consider yourself fortunate. Although the bridge is smaller in scale, there are plenty of other areas to explore, including a pagoda and a flower garden. From the bridge, you can either return to the main entrance or continue your journey to the rest of Sun World via cable car.

The Golden Bridge is truly a one-of-a-kind architectural marvel. Its striking design blends European elegance with an unmistakable Eastern charm, creating a breathtaking fusion of cultures. Walking across it feels like stepping into a dreamscape. While food and drink on-site are slightly pricier than usual, they’re still reasonably affordable by tourist standards and the views more than make up for it.

Absolutely, breathtaking place to visit. It's like having paradise up in the mountain. We spent about 5-6 hours there and didn't get see everything there is to see. It's like Avatar mixed with Disney World! Its a must see if you're in Vietnam!

I recently had the chance to visit this destination, and it was such a great experience! The scenery was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and there were plenty of things to see and do. Whether you’re into nature, culture, or just looking for a place to unwind, this spot has something for everyone. The locals were friendly and welcoming, and getting around was pretty easy. I’d definitely recommend adding this to your travel list, it’s worth the visit!

Extremely beautiful 😍 and very popular for photos. With the cloudy background, it felt as if you were at the top of world or in a mysterious world. At times you can get a picture with minimal people in the background. However, just accepting people are going to be in the background is a lot easier. These days with A.I. you could probably just erase them from the pictures 📸. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to view this wonderful attraction, plus many more at Ba Na Hills.
