On Location: Rachael Leigh Cook Shares Her Vietnam Itinerary From ‘A Tourist’s Guide to Love’

"The movie purposely skips the Golden Hand Bridge, but did you go there? I totally went to the Golden Hand Bridge. We even say in the movie that it’s awesome, but it's just not steeped in as much history. My mom came out for about 10 days with my kids—they couldn't miss more school, but they came during their spring break—and they absolutely loved it. They've created a theme park after a gondola ride. It takes like 22 minutes to get to the top of this mountain. And then up there is something that I would equate to the scale of maybe like a quarter the size of Disneyland and there are theme park rides up there. There is a giant—I don't want to call it a food hall because it's beautiful—but all these restaurants, it is really worth seeing. The engineering blows my mind. What a gift that we got to experience that together."

Bridging connections on the SilkAir network - SilverKris

"A dramatic 150 m-long pedestrian span seemingly cradled by giant sculpted hands and suspended about 1,412 m above sea level; it opened in June and quickly became a social-media sensation for its extraordinary appearance and sweeping vistas over the Truong Son Mountains and the city." - Silkwinds, the inflight magazine of SilkAir

Golden Bridge in Da Nang is a must-visit attraction and truly lives up to the hype. Reaching Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge by cable car makes the experience even more spectacular, with breathtaking views along the way. The bridge looks stunning, and you can capture amazing photos with the iconic giant stone hands. They have displayed almost all national flags, and visitors can pick their country’s flag and pose proudly—this adds a very nice and unique touch to the experience. Overall, a beautiful place with an unforgettable atmosphere and perfect photo opportunities. Best to visit early morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the cool misty weather.

Took a flurry of photos like a kid in a chocolate factory. The size of this place is colossal. You have to actually see it to appreciate the size and beauty of it all and I believe the developers have done an amazing job. There is vast construction still taking place and the topic of conversation had to be…’ so how do they get all these materials up here?’ The cable cars were in crazy numbers and very well maintained. The chain of pods never seemed to end and they were not just in one silence but at least 3!!. Cleaned to a high spec and felt safe always. The height is deceiving from the bottom until you get into the cable cars and the view is breathtaking, especially as you enter into the clouds. The bridge itself is covered in the clouds and time to time when it clears up the size is unveiled. Huge respect to the detail of the project. I believe the prices are the best I have seen anywhere in a few years in can this going up exponentially. I would absolutely recommend a visit to this site. We bought basic tickets from the vendor en route which cost us 950k plus the compulsory 3% charges. If ever nearby don’t go home without a visit.

It’s an amazing place where you buy a ticket to enter the bridge and the French village plus the park. Me and my family had so much fun, especially the kids. It’s also includes the Tele freak. It is the longest to freak in the world that takes you to the Golden bridge that has two hands and you can see the whole city from above it’s an amazing view however it was a bit cloudy and we couldn’t see clearly, but between a few minutes and ago, you can see something and it was hilarious the great thing that once you enter the gaming sector, you don’t pay anything because the ticket includes all the game even the machine games. The people working there are so friendly and there are some cafés there to warm up. They help so much specially that I am on a wheelchair and the place is wheelchair friendly.

Great views, can be busy. What I really like is that food and drinks are very modestly priced, not much difference than the local store. Very clean overall, attendants very nice and helpful.

Golden Bridge at Bana Hills, DA Nang, Vietnam, also known as Da Nang Hands Bridge, Cau Vang, Golden Palm Bridge, Golden Buddha Hand Bridge, Hands of God Vietnam, was opened to public during 2018. It is located about 23 meters height from the ground, with an elevation of about 4,600 ft. The structure itself is a 490 ft. walkway, supported by two giant stone hands. Two gates are placed on either ends of the walkway, for entry and exit. One needs to reach it through a cable car connection, since it is located at the top of the mountain. There are other attractions one can visit like the Winery, Flower garden and The Pagoda. A completely Fascinating and a heart- thumping experience.

It is one of the best lifetime experience to walk through a bridge virtually hanging in the sky. Marvelous view, excellent weather. Good signage. Stunning design of two giant stone hands supporting the bridge. Breathtaking panoramic views of the landscapes. The cable car ride is an unforgettable experience soaring above the treetops.

Great job of connecting one side of the Han River to the other. Architecturally ans structurally interesting. Makes for good photos at night. Visit the night market just off the beach side if you want to buy a load of tat. Visit either side for a riverside promenade but the city side has good restaurants and interesting Riverside sculpture.

09/19/25 Symbol of Da Nang. We stayed at Mercure Da Nang French Village to have access to the 6am opening of the Golden Bridge to avoid the multitude of day tourists. Even at 6am, the queue to the ride the cable car to the bridge started early. Nevertheless we had wide spaces on the bridge to enjoy the panoramic vistas. The lower garden path on the side of the bridge also offered fantastic view of the giant hands holding the bridge. Must visit.
