Golden Catch

We visited this restaurant because we were able to use our credits from The Fork, and we are so glad we decided to do so! First, the view from the terrace was incredible and our table got to overlook this fabulous view for the entire meal. Next, the service was fine dining quality! Finally, the food was so delicious. We got a lot more food than we normally would have because of the credits, and I’m so glad we were able to try a variety! I highly recommend everything we ordered, but especially the sea bass - those truffle mashed potatoes were the best thing I’ve ever eaten!!

Came for dinner around sunset, pretty empty on a Saturday. Octopus was over cooked and had some slimey skin on it. Beef - dont know what kind of cut of meat it was, it wasn't good. Fries were eh and salad was OK, but I think they put salt in it. Wine pour was a little light. Service wasn't as bad as some reviews mention. I think theres better places out there. Atleast the view was nice...

Very good restaurant with a stunning view of the bridge, attentive service, and tasty food. Highly recommend!

We were seated indoors, which was fine, but definitely not as nice as sitting on the outdoor patio. The food was "ok", but nothing remarkable. Service seemed like they were all trainees - no one was quite sure what to do or how to do it. It's fine if you are at WOW and want some seafood, but I wouldn't seek this out.

Rather upscale touristic place. It's a great place to eat fish in the city, though. The view is fantastic, too. Try the sparkling sangria, it's phenomenal. Service could be better, though. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we had to remind our service staff regularly of missing sides, drinks, etc. A bit on the expensive side by Porto standards, but still very affordable from a tourist point of view.

The food is really delicious and the view is amazing.

Disappointing. Ordered the very expensive seafood tower for three of us. The volume of food, mostly shrimp and mussels, did not match the price, nor did the quality. The mussels were overcooked, the oysters were ordinary. The tempura shrimp was the best part, sad. The server dropped off the food and we didn’t see him again for over 20 minutes. Eventually the table was cleared and dessert menus were dropped without a smile. Then we were prompted to add a generous tip on to the bill. Declined. The view is incredible so go there for a bottle of wine, skip dinner.

I ate here for a group banquet with a choice of cod fish and vegetarian Wellington. I chose somewhat poorly with the Wellington. The lemon dessert was pretty good. The location of this restaurant is great, though, and the view off the outdoor plaza overlooking the river and Porto is lovely.
