Ok this place is amazing good vibes the owner is super kind the food is amazing everything is cooked to perfection!!! The wings are amazing I could eat them every day!!! Pork rinds are the bomb.com do not sleep on this place!!!!

Finally stopped here. Packers preseason Game was on. What an Awesome Place. The Owner was there. Atmosphere was terrific. Super friendly people. Regulars I'm guessing we're buying drinks. Bartender was Fast and friendly. Worth the Stop. Golden Lion 🦁 ✨️ 5 🌟

Outside... looked like a legit hole in the wall. Walk inside. Omg how amazing. They did such a great job. Enough room for pool. Be a bit tight if playing darts too. Cool horseshoe bar. Awesome vibe. Owner was down to earth and def not a d*<k - huge win as most small bar owners think theyre top notch.

I had two drinks prior visiting this place, I started vaping for a year and tried an old cigarette I had In a Pocket I found from last years jacket. I started to gag how bad the cigarette was and thre up. I then was told to leave? Horrible place to be. Especially my situation.

What a downright horrible place. We were greeted by a lot of mean stares as we entered into the bar. The bartender completely ignored us until we sat down where we were hollared to by a loud and rude "where are you ID's" to which everyone in the bar turned and stared at us making me and my group feel out of place very quickly. Then after about 5 minutes he yelled back to us saying that we had to get up and walk all the way around the bar if we wanted to order anything. Now I understand its a neighborhood bar so a lot of regulars tend here but to single us out for what ever reason like that is terrible customer service, and a true testament to what this bartender had going for him. Friday was the wing special which my group had and it was nothing special at all, 6 pepper sauce was extremely salty and had no balance of flavor, I don't know where they get 6 peppers out of that but it wasnt present in the dry rub, while the BBQ was a slightly watered down disrespect to BBQ sauce everywhere. I will not be returning here at all as the whole experience was a completely appalling.

Great local pub. I visited because my brother in law was retiring and his party was here. Staff was great. Made us all feel at home. Nice bar and pool table. Great food as well if you are hungry. I'll stop again next time I am in the neighborhood.

Great cozy place, top notch service from friendly personalities, great food, good cold beer (all beer is great but not equal) Dartball leagues, outdoor bag leagues (summer). many TVs for all the sports you can handle. 5, for entertainment purposes only gambling games, along wuth pull tabs. Ask for Joe!!!

I've been going to The Golden Lion for a long time! Their Bloody Mary's are the best around and made with pickled mushrooms, olives, pickles, and asparagus. They host softball and dartball teams, and everyone knows your name and is so friendly when you walk in. They have NASCAR dinners and serve really great food. I've had really fun times with great friends here! It's super nice that they have a dedicated parking lot right across the street, and they also have a bus that you can rent for parties. The outdoor space in back is large, fenced in, and has seating. The women's bathroom is all updated and really nice! Lots of TVs, as well. I love supporting this family business!

Nice dart ball board. Plenty of room to play it. Usually friendly people at the bar that will let you get a drink so you can players

This is the cleanest bar I've ever been in. If you been there sometime in the last 30 years the bartender/owner will remember your name. Working mans prices. Great place to watch the game, any game or sporting event. They even have a T.V outside.

The bartenders and crowd weren't particularly friendly or welcoming, especially on a Badger football day. We came here two years ago and had a great time but not this last time. Sorry, just not what it used to be. Hope it returns to its friendly roots soon.

An older bar that is pretty generic inside and nothing special. The service was horrible and the crowd pretty low as this is pretty much a Nascar bar.

It was my first time being here and I was very impressed! As a bar manager, I can be critical, but Friendly bartenders, quick service, clean bathrooms (it's a girl thing) and cute outdoor area even on this rainy day! I have yet to try their food, but I will definitely be back!
