Google
Given the area, they do a really good job keeping the less fortunate and addicted (politically correct purposes only) out!!!! We stayed there for 4 months without a single incident. The staff were very helpful and security does a great job with what they have to work with. Once you leave the property, be extremely cautious. If you decide to offer outsiders help, just know you are increasing the chances of becoming a victim. It happens every single day.

Google
Served us very well. We pulled our camper from Tennessee and used the golden nugget as our “base” to keep our camper as we came and went exploring Alaska for a couple of weeks. I liked the tight security because we had to offload fuel, spare tires, supplies and a generator which we stored under the camper. No one bothered a thing.

This place was exactly what we needed after such a long journey. We had been on the road 8 days, 2 vehicles, a u-haul, travel trailer, pets, & they were able to accommodate us late evening. The staff are friendly & helpful, as is security, the bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean. 5 stars. Will stay here anytime we are in Anchorage. Thank you!

Google
The sites are very level making it easy. The water connection lakes at tap. Multiple were leaking a fair amount even when not hooked up. The overall place is nice. Clean. Large laundry area. Many broken machines but marked appropriately. Shower area private. Clean. Would return

Place is in a great location. Bathrooms where clean and quiet. But no food or drinks. The staff and security is the issue here. Most rudest from what I've seen and heard. A. Samoan staff or security officer driving big black truck offered some young lady to go meet him down the street since she got caught in the shower trespassing. Herd him say " it's clean you just got showered rite??" While the little gal looked at him in a disgusting manner before walking away shacking her head like she couldn't even believe what she was just asked. Scary to think the people like that working and t.

I was a paying guest at Golden Nugget with Fantasy Tours & was mistaken for a homeless person because I was sleeping on a picnic table under the pavilion. Golden Nugget has a homeless issue at their campground & thefts of property. Despite having cleared up my mistaken identity & an apology from the security guard, Golden Nugget decided to kick me out of the campground anyway adding insult to injury. Make of it what you will. Photo of security officer & security vehicle. If you have a quiet relaxing campground why would you have such a need.

Google
Best RV Park in Alaska that I’ve been to !! Very clean, great staff, security, laundry room was clean and big enough, bathrooms spotless…can’t say enough good about it. They even have a covered pavilion! 😊

Google
This campsite Has No Frills or thrills but is conveniently located where we will return the RV. Bathrooms are clean. Picnic tables were falling apart, literally. Seems to be centrally located in Anchorage.

Yelp

Yelp
if I could, I'd give this place 0 stars. However, I'm writing the review so others can see and hopefully change WILL happen. the RV park itself is well taken care of but they also own the trailer park and one thing they don't do, is take care of it or their tenants. they don't follow the rules of law, everything started is never finished. the roads for the trailer park are not paved, are never properly sanded and in the winter? they are so potholed and dangerous - my car was left damaged. one of our neighbors sons would plow every road for free, since the staffing here would yell at us and say "they'll get to it when they get to it" but they sit on their butts all day inside of the shop!! this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. not only with the many laws they break, but with how they manage their place of living. don't let the RV park fool you, it's the only thing nice about it. they raise rent more and more, and for what? the tenants get NOTHING but poor treatment. even visitors have called and made notes to them, they are yelled at and hung up on. it needs to be under completely new management because the ones who have run it for the past 8 years and counting, do a terrible job.

Yelp
So we usually stay here nightly whenever we need a place to go in Anchorage with our toy hauler, unfortunately, they are not doing day rate anymore and it's just monthly for $800.....so do not even give it the time of day if you're looking. Super disappointed. Recommended spots are covered in homeless people unfortunately. This place was awesome but now, Not so much.

Yelp
16 hours ago on Google Employee let's work know he's gonna be late "Supervisor" 'Marcus' tells him he never told anyone he's taking the entire day off. Not true. He let someone know. "Supervisor" doesn't tell coworkers he's not coming in back from lunch. All coworkers call this employee asking why he didn't come back. Calls "supervisor" to ask why he was told not to return to work after required lunch and is told its okay to work the next day and to come in. Let's him go the very next day being lead on that there was no issues. No prior warning was given. "Supervisor" gets heavy equipment keys stolen after leaving them on the seat of the vehicle, doesn't get punished. Management and "supervisor" are a clique based community and will fire workers just barely weeks into moving. They don't value their workers enough to communicate amongst themselves or their employees. Email is Leilaperrien2021@gmail.com email me for names. Do not recommend as a healthy job environment. I have more stories and details my number is 9075020186 DO NOT WORK HERE. RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE AND YOU WILL BE LET GO AFTER THEY POST YOUR JOB FOR AVALIBILITY

Yelp
Clean bathrooms with hot showers, park is enclosed with fence so it feels safe in the area..the only thing is that there's no fire pits for fires and it's tricky to level out in an RV with the uneven grounds Overall, good experience

Yelp
Worst Rv Park I've ever stayed in. They have a lot of live in campers with so much junk piled up everywhere. They shove large RVs into the smallest spots possible. The bathrooms are the only good thing about here. There's a small park across the road but it's right beside a Trailer Park. If I was anyone elseI wouldn't come here but we payed in full before coming. This is the worst campground.

Yelp
Have stayed here on several occasions while touring Alaska. Nothing to write home about but it's convenient and they have full hookups. Laundry room is adequate, spaces run about $45 a night. There is a nice playground across the street and areas to walk the dog. The nearby mobile home parks I would not say are bad or dangerous, just working class people trying to make a living in Alaska.

Natalie B.

Yelp
This place has a lot of long term RVs parked and is right across from a mobile home park right in town. Website says 24 hour laundromat but door says closes at 9:30 and my clothes got locked in there. In the am I called the phone for assistance and the lady called the manager to come unlock it. He came and tried to say it was unlocked the whole time(it absolutely was not). First star is b/c BRs and free untimed showers were clean and nice to have. No grill or fire ring at sites, only huge grills at pavilion if you want to cook out. It was convenient to be in town and only 15 minutes from RV drop and sites were easy to pull into. Website is misleading, its more or less a glorified parking lot with hookups and amenities.

Kelli P.

Yelp
Easy anchorage location-- not on a river or in the woods but very convenient! Clean showers with hot water!!!!

Joe M.

Yelp
Unbelievable! This RV park advertises that they are open year-round both on their website and in the milepost. However when trying to get reservations in April I was informed by a rude clerk on the phone that they only accept long term during the winter. When asked to speak to a manager she got very defensive and reluctantly took my phone number. Absolutely horrible customer service not to mention false advertising. Beware of this RV Park

Yelp
My friends came out of town to visit me from New York. They ended up staying at the campground on June 4th - June 10th. They allowed us to BBQ in the pavilion area, and also invite a few of our friends over. We totally enjoyed ourselves. BTW, they had very nice staff, with clean restrooms.

Andy M.

Yelp
This RV Park was really great, i had a 40' class a, was in a pull thru and had a enough room to have my slides out, came with water, sewer, and electric, super friendly staff, enjoy seeing security doing some patrols, made me and my family feel safe, great hot showers, restroom and showers were clean. A nice park across the street for the kids to stay out of your hair! Bus stop is just around the corner (Bus#30 is the bus you would take.), so easy to get downtown or you can even use Uber. There is also really cool bike trails around to. Also Costco is just across the street to get restocked before you hit the road again. I would definitely come back again. :-)

Boris H.

Yelp
Convenient RV campground with all you can ask for but the ambience is more like a parking lot. And with $ 45 / night a pretty expensive parking lot. The showers were clean-ish and the neighborhood is frightening. OK place if you stay only one night before you return your RV; for a longer stay you can find certainly a better alternative.

Yelp
Nestled in between a bad neighborhood and a REALLy bad neighborhood, this RV park leaves a lot to be desired. it's about as un-scenic as you can get and is overcrowded with very small, mostly back in spaces. I would not recommend planning your stay here for more than a night or two and really only if you have no other options. The laundry room is large but more than 1/2 of the machines were not working and there was no change machine. The Internet was non-existent unless you are sitting right outside the front office. On the upside, it is close to Safeway, Costco, and a car wash but not much else. There is a small playground for the kiddies nearby but it's packed with unattended children from the trailer park next door. Way overpriced for what you get.

L T.

Yelp
Fairly standard city RV park; nothing scenic about it (except some mountain views far off), but it's got all the regular amenities. Most sites are full hookup; the partial sites only have electric, no water. No dump site unless you have the full hookup. Steep rates for what you get, but unfortunately there aren't many hookup options within Anchorage. We paid $48 for a full-hookup. There is laundry on site, including a handful of the large industrial washers and dryers, good for doing blankets and such. Watch for vagrants in the park across the street. There is a cute playground and a path through woods to an open field where I took my dog to run, but the path is littered with empty 40s and one guy was chatting to himself while wandering barefoot and rearranging his pack of belongings on the bench in the children's playground on my return from the dog run.

Yelp
horrible customer service! packed in like sardines! shower, run down concrete block building open doorways cold, low pressure !!warm not hot water! no snowplowing, expensive!!! located next to busy road no privacy!!! the owner of this facility is working with the anchorage assembly to make it illegal to stay in wallmart, sports authority, any free parking throughout the city of anchorage!!!adn 2-19-16

Yelp
We stayed here while in Anchorage in Jun of 2011, was going to be a 3 night stay, we stayed only one night. Did not feel safe, kids running around all hours, too many locals living in the park, not a good part of town on top fo all that. We went to Ship Creek RV Park and stay twice there in 2011. Much nicer RV Park

Silvio S.

Yelp
Totally helpful and friendly staff. Very clean restrooms and free coffee in the office. The days we were there; early October 2012; they had complimentary donuts for us. We were very comfortable. P. Silvio

Yelp
Level spaces, friendly staff, good laundry. Not scenic but is the best within Anchorage. Would stay here again.
