I was disappointed with the room. For $650 for 2 nights (and nothing included), I feel these things should be addressed if you plan on staying here...I was in the village view "extended stay" room. This room has a small kitchen in it. I was traveling with my husband and child. Anything I mention with the kitchen was observed in both cleanliness and appearance:||1) To start, there were un-wiped cup rings on the bed stands and table, which my husband and I wiped.||2) There were MANY finger print marks that have accumulated on the stove vent and were not cleaned. I also feel like dish soap shouldn't be left half way filled and squeezed (maybe use single style travel dish soap or a refillable bottle per stay). It just shows other people using the product stays upon stays before you, which is kinda eh, (gross).|--> Also the sponge left under the sink too should have been replaced and not used from guest to guest (something I did NOT use...also gross).||3) The beautiful wood beams were covered in a film of dust, which if they were to be hit or even just blown on, it would have fallen into the bed (as its right underneath the main beam).||4) It was not vacuumed when we came in.||It's a wonderful, cute little town and a perfect location for people needing to spend the night with an abundance of food and shopping. However, this particular room was clearly only "lightly cleaned" from the last extended stay and never looked at again OR it's been a long time since this room was booked.||CHECKING OUT: The front desk woman said to me "I should have called and we would have changed your room"....Do you know how irritating that is? First off, I have a 10 month old...secondly, I'm here (in horrible cold weather mind you) not looking to lug my family around town. I shouldn't be responsible for calling to get a new room because you can't manage your property and maid staff.|Obviously, mentioning this to them did nothing because the front desk woman said "I won't check you out yet, I'll speak to my manager and we'll get in contact with you" (then confirmed my email)....NOTHING. I responded to the checkout email saying 'reply here' if you have any comments, questions, concerns, opinions . . . yadeya! Still no one's reached out just to acknowledge such for future stays.||***If anyone at this hotel wants to call me a liar for my conversation with the checkout lady, look at your cameras and time stamped emails, since the front desk staff certainly has a knack for TripAdvisor snippy, documented responses. ***
