This is a beautiful campground with wonderful amenities like a very clean wash house with showers, toilets and ample counter space. The office staff was helpful and friendly and there were lots of games etc that were free to use.
Yes, there are mosquitoes, and lots of them. Just come prepared and you’ll be fine. When it was windy and sunny there were NO bugs and I happily laid out on the deck of the yurt.
We originally booked a tent spot but realized that our tent jumped ship at some point on our trip, luckily they had a yurt available. The yurt was pretty cozy, there’s a bed, bedside table and a little loveseat. It was raining the first night and there was a drip that came inside, but otherwise it was pretty cool.
The views are stunning and it looks like an awesome place to bring your dog. They have a doggy daycare which we didn’t use, but thought it was cool. They were also offering donation based yoga classes which we didn’t take part in, but thought I’d mention.
