Golden Riverfront Campground

Good campsite if you don’t mind the mosquitoes. There are simply way too many of them which makes it almost impossible to sit outside of your van. We saw the reviews before but thought people may be exaggerating- it was pretty accurate. The washroom is great. There are hot showers, flush toilets, laundry room. They just don’t have hair dryers. The washrooms can be far from where you stay but luckily for us that wasn’t the case. The mountain view from the field is beautiful.

We received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The pitches are perfectly laid out – level and surrounded by lovely trees, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The facilities had the cleanest toilets and showers we encountered on our entire road trip – big compliments to the staff! A special highlight was watching the adorable prairie dogs in the meadow near the campground – a wonderful nature experience perfect for observing and photographing 😊. The only minor downside: There were a lot of mosquitoes (though of course this isn't the owners' fault). Regardless, we would choose this place again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend it!

Didn't stay here, but did meet up with a bunch of hang and para glide pilots for there big willy Mueller event. Seems like a nice place will try to book sooner so we can stay here next time. The event was ran excellently and the area is fantastic.

Nice campground with good and clean facilities, however a bit of a walk from the tent sites. Free hot showers, $3 washing. There is only one sink to wash your dishes for the whole campground. It would be nice to add another one. Bring good mosquito spray as well as coils. They will make your stay more enjoyable. The 10pm noise rule is not enforced at all, unfortunately. There was a huge rowdy group when we stayed, yelling across the park and keeping all the tent sites up until 3am. Though the staff were apologetic the next morning when we talked to them, I believe this could have been avoided by actually going around the campground and noticing the disruptive group earlier on.

Stayed in the RV side. Most sites are well treed and have privacy. I just wish they have pictures for each site so people have a better idea of what they are getting. Big green space for dogs to run around👏🏼 Lots of mosquitoes but we had a screen tent thank goodness😛

Would love to give an outstanding review as the location is spectacular, the sites are spacious, and the washrooms and showers are very clean, however....the sites need lots of maintenance. We had to move sites after setting up because the breaker kept tripping and there was no one able to replace it. As well, the weeds are taking over, the gravel needs replenishing, the firepits are not all useful, and the picnic tables need painting. If this was done, and sewer added, the rates could be increased and the campground would be full. As is, I wouldn't return.

This place gives you a good country vibe with the people and events that are always here. The camp sites are pretty decent and well spaced, some better than others. Bring yourself a couple thermocell big repellent devices!

Whe stay here for 2 nights|The rv spot is very nice.||But sadly there is a wedding here.|If whe want wifi we need to go to the hot washing room or to the stinky toilets if you are coming at the rong time. however there keeping it as clean as the can.||Normally you can sit at a nice paviljoen with the wifi but now it's onley for the wedding gast.||You don't get a little refund or a little present or a drink nope it's just sorry and that's it.||In the evening where trying to sleep but the campervan smels like a cannabis cafe 🤔 |Hmm that whas not so plasent for us.
