Golden Star specialises in serving authentic Gujarati and Rajasthani thali since thali 1993. We have visited on a Sunday for lunch to enjoy season's special Unlimited Alphanso Aamraas with pooris along with delicious curries, daal, mithais, various traditional snacks and chutneys. The thalis look colorful tempting and super delicious. Cordial behaviour by the management and staffs. Quick service and repeated services. Totally value for money. Reasonably priced. Hot fresh food. Cool thick aamraas kept on filled up in bowls. So delicious. It's one of my most memorable summer meal in Mumbai. I highly recommend this place.

Located near Girgaon Chowpaty on a busy street. It is one of the old restaurant serving authentic Gujrati and Rajasthani Thali. Great taste with good ambience. The staff is polite and fast. If you are considering a Thali for meals, give it a try.

I visited the place on Sunday for Lunch where they serve 3 sweets and 3 farsan unlimited. They served me 3rd sweet when I finished my lunch and was moving to washbasin. Also due to crowd while dining the staff was not that efficient/quick to serve. We need to call each staff for what we need, specially for sweets and farsan. Felt that on Sunday their motto is to earn more money rather than customer service. Totally disappointed with the way they served us. ,😡

My craving for authentic thali in Mumbai has been since the beginning of this year , I’m glad I popped into this place based on the reviews and recommended by locals . It’s a maharaja thali , very authentic Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisine . The staff have a good attitude and managed by a seasoned Manager Joshi who has over two decades of experience in this trade

You really want to waste 560 rupees for this disastrous thali.. It happened with me... Dont get fooled by the outlook and the fact it is near to railway station and saifee hospital... One week back i went to Rajadhani for unlimited Tuesday thali at R city Mall, Ghatkopar. It was really worth, though i am proper non vegetarian, i really enjoyed, specially desserts. But here, every item is sweet including daal and curries. In deserts also two varieties are there, they are not good. The other thing which frustrated me was the staff who was supervising, he self boasting about the hotel food and telling us we gonna visit next time. Which will not happen in even parallel world... Definitely big No for South Indian.

The nearest place from charni road railway station. Very nice place for lunch and dinner on your special days. It offers you all you can eat menu. This is unlimited thali costing around 430 rs including all taxes. The staff us very good n cooperative you'll enjoy ambience here. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are just awesome.

Excellent variety of Rajashthani/Gujarati food served with pickles and cold buttermilk. Excellent service as usual. Went at noon. Not much rush either.
