Their Gujarati and Rajasthani thali includes a whopping 32 unlimited items, from aamras, puri, dal pakwan, dal baati, paneer sabzi, rotlo, dal rice, khichdi, chaas and so much more. Extremely disappointing experience I ordered a meal box worth ₹205 (with GST) via Swiggy and called the restaurant to clarify menu details, such as Jain options, because the website didn’t provide enough information. The staff on the phone were dismissive and unhelpful. They repeatedly told me to give all instructions through Swiggy, which isn’t practical since the delivery platform doesn’t know the menu specifics. There was no willingness to provide basic information or assistance, which made the experience frustrating. The meal box itself was very small. The portion sizes for the items listed as “farsans” were minimal — one small piece of dhokla and a tiny piece of kachori — which felt token rather than satisfying. The taste was average, not what I expected for the price. Overall, the food was underwhelming, portions were small, and the customer service was poor. I would not recommend ordering from this outlet if you expect clear communication or adequate portions.

came here on a Monday afternoon. Firstly, I was delighted that even in the month of July they were serving Aamras! The malpua sweet was also tasty. Unlike other Gujarati-Rajasthani unlimited Thali restaurants, Golden Star doesn't add any Soda or sugar in the main course and starters, ensuring that the diner is able to fill it's stomach! The service was also good and being a food blogger, the servers were just a wave away! Definitely recommending this place to all my near ones!
