GOLDEN TULIP ADDIS ABABA

My family and I stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Addis in June 2025, and our experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine care. The customer service was top-notch. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The restaurant offered a wonderful variety of options, with delicious meals for every taste and occasion. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we were always impressed by the freshness, flavor, and presentation. I must give special mention to Gugsa, who was absolutely amazing! He made sure that every detail of our stay went smoothly, from planning our visit to ensuring we were comfortable throughout. His professionalism and kindness truly made a difference. Though I’ve forgotten her name, the General Manager was equally wonderful polite, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to personally check on us and ensure everything was perfect. Overall, the Golden Tulip Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way — clean rooms, excellent food, and a staff that genuinely cares. We left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ethiopia!

Close proximity to the airport, wonderful room ambience, polite and courteous staff. I enjoyed the buffet, has a variety of options (both local and international cuisines).|Has a gym as well. A pool would be a great addition and the room lighting could be a bit better (too dim).

I went to this place to interpret for a meeting. Our session was held in the Lemon Room, which is an ideal space for hosting up to 100 people. I also had the chance to try their lunch buffet, which offered a wide variety of dishes and cuisines. Everything was delicious, and overall, I truly enjoyed my experience here!

The location was very convenient to my place of business, eateries and shopping malls.||The hotel atmosphere was very homely and friendly. I felt welcome.||The rooms are spacious, clean, good value for money and very quiet for restful nights.||There was great food variety, including Ethiopian delicacies.

I am a regular customer of Golden Tulip Addis Ababa and usually enjoy the service. But during a recent call to book a room, the receptionist Mr. Henok responded with unprofessional and disrespectful language, saying “Atazigegn.” This is very disappointing and not the standard of hospitality I expect. As a proud Ethiopian, I value our culture of respect and warm hospitality. Experiencing such behavior in a place that represents our country to the world was truly disheartening. I hope the hotel manager addresses this to maintain its good reputation.

Excellent experience, loved everything from the airport pick-up, hotel staff, the beautiful cozy room, the gym, the restaurant food and restaurant staff - great service from Netsenet! Overall just lovely
