This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. While I was still checked in, I came back to find my room wide open and my belongings touched. Housekeeping had entered without permission and even took my chocolates until I confronted them. This is an outrageous violation of privacy and security. If I cannot trust the hotel to keep my room locked and my belongings safe, then what am I paying for? Management only gave me a simple “sorry” as if this was nothing. Completely unacceptable. I will escalate this incident to Booking.com, Google, and the authorities if the management does not take serious action and offer proper compensation. Guests deserve safety and respect — not negligence.

It's a really nice hotel with a beautiful view from the restaurant area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always wonderful, but it got overcrowded at some point. A lot of dish options, including international and local cuisine, also vegetarian options. Big and clean rooms, comfortable beds. Minus points: - for room service calling the doors despite the "not disturb" sign - really long wait at reception - lift transport was sometimes complicated

Poor Hotel Experience – Air Arabia Should Choose a Better Option We were placed at this hotel by Air Arabia after missing our flight due to the current situation in the Middle East. First, I sincerely thank Air Arabia for their support — they arranged transportation both ways and provided dinner and breakfast, which is highly appreciated. However, the hotel experience itself was very disappointing. The dinner buffet was unacceptable: cold, stale food with no variety or freshness. It felt more like leftovers than a proper meal. The restaurant was poorly managed and lacked any service or attention. I was initially very frustrated. To be fair, the night reception staff was polite and connected me with the Egyptian manager, who was professional, kind, and promised to address the issue. He also arranged for dinner to be delivered to our room, and thanks to him, I was willing to move past the poor experience. But unfortunately, the reception staff in the morning ruined everything. When checking out, they made an inappropriate comment about our complaint, as if we were at fault for speaking up. They also ignored the transportation arrangement made by Air Arabia and forced us into a tiny taxi with another family — completely unprofessional. I want to emphasize that I still respect the manager, but he needs to be aware of how unacceptable the food quality (both dinner and breakfast) was, and how damaging the reception staff’s behavior can be to guest satisfaction. If he truly wants to maintain quality and guest relations, these issues must be addressed seriously. In short: Avoid this hotel if you’re expecting even basic service or hospitality. And I kindly urge Air Arabia to partner with a better hotel in the future — this one does not reflect the airline’s otherwise good reputation.

The stay was pleasant and comfortable. However, there were several areas that need improvement. Firstly, I faced difficulty reaching the staff over phone calls—despite repeated attempts, I did not receive any call back, which was quite disappointing. Secondly, there was no one available to assist with luggage upon arrival. It felt more like a self check-in, budget-friendly hotel experience, which did not match the amount paid for the room. The hotel also has very limited budget-friendly food options. The optional breakfast is priced at AED 45, but unfortunately, there are no specific choices for kids. On the positive side, there are many good food outlets nearby, and meals can easily be ordered online or over the phone. Lastly, the lift/elevator service needs serious improvement. Guests typically have to wait between 5 to 8 minutes, whether going up or down, which becomes quite inconvenient. I hope these points are taken into consideration to improve the overall guest experience in the future.

I recently stayed at Golden Tulip in Sharjah and was quite disappointed by an incident that occurred during my stay. At around 1 a.m., a staff member came to my room and rang the bell multiple times, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign clearly hanging on the door. The reason was to return my ID card, which had apparently been left at the reception during check-in around 3 p.m. While I understand and appreciate the gesture of returning the ID, the timing was extremely inappropriate. Waking up guests — including children and elderly family members — in the middle of the night for something that could have easily waited until morning shows a serious lapse in judgment. A note under the door or a call during reasonable hours would have been far more acceptable. I hope hotel management takes this feedback seriously and trains staff to handle such situations more thoughtfully in the future.

My first and last time at this hotel. The reception team is the worst. Imagine after my stay I should have receive my deposit back , but can't do that till now despite daily follow up for almost 20 days. Here is some feedback from the reception team that hardest to reach as I have to call them 20 times just to pick up 1 time 1- the deposit has been processed, please check with the bank, I call the bank they advise no transaction 2- second time, we are sorry, we are checking and will call you back, then nobody calls me 3- third time, despite they confirmed the amount was processed and check with the bank, now there is an issue as the employee who has your card picture is in the weekend and won't be able to share it on whatsapp till he comes back. I have to wait till he comes back and they will call me back and as usual nobody cares or call back. 3- fourth time, the reception is telling me that the accounting department is in brief meeting and we have no control over them. So I have to wait ( nobody available for the stupid client that is following up on his deposit for days) and when I tell them please transfer me to the accounting department, suddenly that they didn't arrive yet, despite few minutes back they were in brief meeting. Bad hospitality, I regret the time I stayed there, don't recommend it at all.

The hotel is inside a mall, the rooms look like an office.Indoor swimming pool, very poor and too busy, not equal to the capacity of the hotel.I had a room with no view to the lake. It's good for sleeping and eating, but not for enjoyment. I had a problem with the bathroom also.Didn't enjoy my stay there.

As I see from the reviews, Air Arabia often has flight delays, it wasn't an exclusion for me too, unfortunately. I missed my flight because of them, and I was placed in Golden Tulip. Can't complain, they had absolutely satisfying service. Honestly, I just needed a place to stay with basic amenities, so my review is not about parking, luggage service (I simply didn't have any) or other services that people pay for. It was free for me. Considering that, all was amazing. I had free taxi transfer, a room and and meals 3 times a day (I could choose several options from the menu, the food was tasty), all covered by Air Arabia. As for the room - it was tidy middle-sized room with 2 single beds, mini-kitchen (table, tap, sink, electric kettle, couple of mugs, coffee and tea bags, sugar, sticks for stirring), mini fridge, chest of drawers, table with the TV, 2 bedside tables, safe for storing things, couple of armchairs and a coffee table. Everything was clean, there was a 'safe tape' on the toilet with the printed notice 'disinfected for your safety, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, shower cap, cotton swabs for ear cleaning, couple cotton pieces, mini soap bar, 2 huge white towels. There was weirdly looking hair drier in the bathroom (maybe it wasn't actually for drying hair, I just didn't get what it was). However, I used it as a hairdryer, it had very low power for this purpose. There was no microwave or iron in the room. WiFi was working ok only inside the room. I couldn't use WhatsApp for calls. As I got to know further, WhatsApp calls are restricted in Arab Emirates. You can still text, send pictures or videos or voice messages. I could use Teams, Zoom or Google Meet for the calls I needed. Wifi almost didn't work outside the room. In total I'm giving 5 stars cause I couldn't complain at all
