We had booked a hotel room here weeks in advance through Booking, but unfortunately, on the day of our arrival, the reservation was mysteriously cancelled—possibly by Booking itself.
Sadly, the hotel was not helpful at all. They claimed that none of our cards worked, yet they never contacted us in advance to warn us about this issue. We tried calling them and reaching out through Booking, but we never received a response. Only after contacting them via Instagram did we finally get an answer. Unfortunately, even then, they were not able or willing to help us, nor did they offer us the same room we had originally booked.
Strangely, our booked room was cancelled and at the exact same time, it was supposedly taken by someone else. The only room left was available at three times the price of our original booking.
The lack of communication, unwillingness to accommodate us, and refusal to notify us in advance was especially disappointing
