Golden Tulip Zanzibar Resort

Had a misunderstanding regarding the city tax payable and Jacky was patient and went out her way to resolve the issue. Rooms were clean and sprayed in the evening for mosquitoes was an elegant touch. Best thing about this hotel was the buffet breakfast Chef’s kiss paired with an amazing view of the ocean. No alcohol served but rooms have a fridge do you can bring your own. Would definitely visit again👌🏾

I would recommend Golden Tulip Zanzibar Resort to anyone traveling to Zanzibar town. |The service has been top notch and the kind of professionalism exhibited by the staff is great. |The coordination to have things and make them work for the guests is a true definition of a wheel and spoke.|I would also like to give a special thanks to Queen Africa, one of the staff at Golden Tulip, as her name suggests, she is truly a Queen, very compassionate, informative, loving and respectful. I salute you Queen Africa and keep up the great work.|The food…ooh yes! The chef didn’t disappoint.|If you love sunsets then look no more because the view at this place is spectacular. I would definitely visit the same place whilst on holidays.

The atmosphere around here is really great, clean rooms and quite spacious |Zero noise whatsoever, has a nice enough view of the ocean. Polite and impressive customer service |Might be a little lacking on the amenities side n the room would have loved to see an hair dryer in there but to be fair, they did ask if I’d want one.||I like the location, it’s not too far from our activity venues

The operation manager refused to give us 1 extra bottle of water on our check out day knowing that they only give us 2 bottles on the day before and said on the check out day you can't have water and you need to pay for !! We ordered room service for over 50$ and you can't provide 1$ bottle? I never seen this in any other hotel in the world, also they missed with our luggage while we are out of room and we didn't complain, he should at least give us the water as a compensation for what happened but no Also we asked for a hair dryer and an iron they brought it but the next day they took it ! Even though we had more night and we needed to use it Overall very unpleasant experience and I don't recommend anyone to book with

I haven't visited the Golden Tulip, but I would like to thank Jacqueline (and Simon and Abdul), for their outstanding service over the phone. A couple of friends of mine were staying there, and the staff helped to arrange a small Birthday surprise for them. This was all done internationally over the phone and text. Jacqueline was very helpful in explaining what was and wasn't possible, and once we had decided on a plan, the team managed to pull it all together in a couple of hours. I can't thank them enough.

Location is not near to the center so difficult to grab a taxi, breakfast is good but too much staff asking for reviews constantly (like yes everything is alright…), pool is great but no sun before midday, wifi is great though, restaurant on the roof is nice but food is average, tons of mosquitoes obviously.

They said the pool is available but it had dirty green water like it wasn’t cleaned in a while |We waited for 2 hours to check in and when we requested for just a few minutes of late check out we were denied|The ac itself is really so noisy|There was mechanical noise in the room which made sleeping so hard tried to talk to them several times but we were not helped |The curtains are broken and being the direction of light disturbed our morning sleep|There is no full mirror in the room |The lifts were down on some days|The only amazing part was the restaurant this amazing lady Mariam (hope it is the correct name) she was really good with us and helped us settle in as we waited for our room and the rest of the days whenever we went to the restaurant

The experience was great!. The staff were very friendly and very good. They made sure had a comfortable stay. They were on time and helpful. ||Would love to visit this place again
