We had a really nice visit at the Golden Valley brewery yesterday. The food is high-quality with fairly large portions and very delicious. Prepare to spend about $17-$35 per plate on average though there are cheaper options. Combined with the upscale pub ambience we had a memorable visit. I didn’t get a picture of my dessert, but I had the key lime cheesecake with a tart raspberry sauce and that was delicious too. The burgers in the picture are their Oregon burger and I loved it!

Good food but slow, inconsistent service. Our server was super friendly and kind but overwhelmed. It took almost an hour to receive my beverage. My order was incorrect, but they were good about correcting it. By the time I received my meal, my dining companion was almost done. Quite honestly, had I been the server - I would have comped something; chips? beverage? This wasn’t the dining experience we were looking forward to.

Golden Valley Brewery and Restaurant is a warm and welcoming environment right in the heart of McMinnville. The restaurant has plenty of seating that includes indoor and outdoor as well as private or open seating (I suspect private seating requires a reservation). There's a solid selection of beverages and the beer didn't disappoint. The real highlight was the food though. I had the fish and chips which were very good even if they weren't the prettiest meal at the table. Everything from burgers to Korean BBQ bowls were getting great reviews from my group. I suspect it's the kind of place that has no wrong choices on the menu. With that said, it seems like the best choices of the bunch were the chicken pot pie and the schnitzel. If you find yourself in downtown McMinnville do yourself a favor and give this spot a try before or after walking down 3rd Street.

Stopped here on a long drive to grab a bite. The burgers are great and the hummus plate was lovely. I don’t know the history of the place but it seems to have a rich one. When I have the time, I’ll be sure to explore more of this menu!

Golden Valley Brewery and Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing. The service is great. The staff takes allergies very seriously and is able to communicate effectively with the kitchen. They are able to offer alternatives if they are not able to accommodate with certain foods. The decor is somewhat timberland style. The brew vats are also visible and add much to the decor. There is a decent amount of parking. From what I could see, handicapped parking is limited. The restaurant is easily accessible for wheelchairs.

Food is delicious, and the service is good, but it's a little pricey.

Jason at the bar is always welcoming! There is something for everyone on the menu and lots of great happy hour deals and daily specials.

Yelp
We dined at Golden Valley Brewery with two other couples. The venue, the food and the service were all on point. It was great under the lights. The owners were nearby and very friendly. We felt welcome and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
We have visited this place several times. We have always enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice, kind of dark and pretty quiet. The food is always good. The service is always great. We have had hamburgers, salad, and most things on the menu. It's always good. This last trip we had the French dip Sammy. It was good. Bread was fresh and warm. Fries are always good. The pretzel with beer cheese is good. The only star I marked down was the menu. It is a slight bit limited, and it changes almost every time we come in, which is about 4 times a year. The happy hour is alright but not great, and the appetizer's only good option is the pretzel, the rest aren't very good.

Yelp
The nachos have a seasoning that really kicks them up a notch. The shrimp tacos were excellent as was the beer selection. Staff were great, and the Great Pumpkin Spiced Cake is something I would recommend!

Yelp
Great pub for brew and grub. Got a convivial vibe too. 1920s warehouse constructed with Douglas furs. Bar renovated from the Hoyt Hotel in 1960's Portland. Bar made of Honduran mahogany. Pub getting a vibe on, lots of chitchat filling up the spaces while we were getting our bitter brew buzz going. We really liked 3 IPA's we tried - robust bitter bitter hops, less malt, more floral with good UBU's.

Yelp
We stopped by Golden Valley Brewery & Restaurant for lunch during our break. Being unfamiliar with the area, we decided to give it a try. Although the outdoor seating looked great, it was too hot, so we chose to sit inside. We were quickly seated in a booth and greeted by our waitress. After looking through the menu and beer options, we all ordered beers. I went with the Beaverton Blonde Ale, which was clean and refreshing. For lunch, I had the Avocado BLT Sandwich with potato chips, which was good and filling. The staff was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant's interior was dark but cozy and welcoming. Next time, I'd love to sit on the garden patio and enjoy some cold beers.

Yelp
Disappointed. I used to be able to count on excellent food from this establishment. The last two times I visited it was horrible. The service was excellent but the food was bad. Thursday late afternoon not busy or full we sat in the bar. There was 4 in our party. We ordered cocktails and a beet salad to share. The cocktails were average and the beet salad was disappointing there was more arugula than beets. This salad may have had 6 small beets on the whole salad. For dinner we ordered 2 specials the chicken Parmesan and Mary's Melt both were really disappointing. The melt was not as described. The cheese wasn't melted and the burger was cold. It was also over priced. The chicken Parm was cold, tough and bland. We also ordered Gorgonzola Meatballs. These meatballs were so tough I needed a steak knife to cut into them. They were hard as golf balls I kid you not. They were over heated which makes me think they were cooked days ago and microwaved. I was so disappointed because I am a huge meatball lover. If Gordon Ramsey was at my table he would have yelled and threw them across the room. Sad I cannot count on Golden Valley for a consistent meal when entertaining guests. Oh well maybe I will try them again in 6 months or so.

Yelp
Alaskan Salmon Sucked. It was dry with absolutely No season of Any Sort. The Rice was Under cooked, The Greens Were Mushy also with NO SEASONING, And the Over all Plating looked UNAPPEALING and UNAPPETIZING. I Would Recommend Not Ordering The SALMON. As for the Host And Waitress, They were great.

Yelp
Welcome to GVB, home to some good eats in a great location for tourists (close to hotels). Service wasn't anything spectacular, but we were impressed by the food. Beer Batter Onion Rings - great appetizer as they're average onion rings. Not much to say, but definitely a good sharing size. Korean BBQ Beef Bowl - a hearty bowl full of vegetables and fiber. Filling in that aspect while still being tasty as the KBBQ sauce can engulf everything if desired. Kimchi felt out of place, wish it were on the side rather than nested in, but still fair. Boneless Ribeye - this is a ton of food given the vegetables, mashed potato, and potatoes. Extremely filling. Ribeye was tender and juicy. Everything else was filling. Pretty standard and expected. Chicken Alfredo - I am a sucker for pasta so this immediately caught my eye. I was shocked by the creamy alfredo, not expecting it to be good. Chicken being cut in cubes helped ensure it wasn't super dry and was able to be mixed with the creamy sauce. Garlic bread wasn't super crisp or super soft, a perfect medium for soaking sauce. Pasta was delicious.

Yelp
Such a great place for a celebration or just a meal out! Amazing selection of meals for lunch or dinner! We love their nachos and often share one plate of them for our meal! Great service too! Dog friendly on the patio and they always offer a bowl of water for our dog! We love setting in the booths, it creates a very personal setting for us!

Yelp
Super service from our server who had to go old school with pen and paper because their Internet was down. French dip was delicious and the horseradish was nice and spicy.

Frank L. B.

Yelp
Excellent food, wonderful service and the best Spanish Coffee out there. I do wish the bean dish and the rice pilaf had been seasoned a bit more.

Janet Z.

Yelp
Busy restaurant and beer joint. Fish and chips are good, burgers ok, special holiday meals enjoyable. Tends to be loud unless you get a booth.

Deena V.

Yelp
This was a gem. Beautiful inside with the gorgeous wood. Nothing bad to say about the food and service was terrific.

Yelp
my party was visiting the air museum & a staff memeber referred us to GVB. we should have left when i had to ask for a new glass of water, because the glass had a lipstick marks on, but we didn't. Big disappointment. The meals came to the table, the steak bites were delivered (my meal), and i was told the bread was on its way. 6 minutes later, the steak was cold & im brought ONE slice of bread. i waited for a 2" x 2 1/2" slice of bread...i laughed when it arrived. the waiter took it off the bill. The mac & cheese sauce was watery so i asked for extra, it came at the end of the meal. save yourself the time & $$...go elsewhere.

Yelp
Really good grilled chicken sandwich. Wife had the bacon burger which was also good. Coldalaw nothing special but the fries were good. Well rounded selection of beverages. Porter was solid. Wife likes the kolsch. Only down side was it was a little spendy.

Yelp
Another great meal on way back from the beach at the Golden Valley Brewery! Our server was Pauline and she was amazing - personable, warm, welcoming and so funny. Our group order consisted of two burgers and two orders of fish and chips this time - so yummy. We typically get desert but we overstuffed from a week at the beach. Next time! Love this wonderful Public House (aka brew pub) in charming McMinnville! Always a must stop for us!

Vivian C.

Yelp
Fabulous and diverse menu. I had a tough time deciding what entree to order. Everything looked and sounded awesome. We had a party of 8. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The chicken pot pie was exceptional! Lots of great beers from which to choose.

Yelp
Creeper old man Bartender was talking to one of the servers about how he takes a shower and goes outside to dry off by the sun and wind. Not a great visual when I'm getting ready to eat. He goes on to tell her how he is a painter and tries to talk her into posing naked at his house. When she tries to laugh it off and change the subject, he then asks her to just come over to his place since he's dying to have someone to talk to. This was as he was behind the bar with other customers in the restaurant. Just gross and extremely uncomfortable.

Yelp
We found ourselves passing through McMinnville on our way to the beach for a much needed weekend away from Portland. On our drive out, we found our selves needing to grab a bite to eat, and decided on Golden Valley Brewery. Upon entering, we quickly noticed the place is packed. Putting our name on the list, informed us they had a 20 min wait. While I was giving my info for a table, my husband slipped into the bar and found us 2 spots at the bar. Thank goodness. I was starving! Anyway, tonight was martini night & they offered 5 different specialty martinis for $6.00. Yes, please!!! We got a peach purée and a black berry puree drink and they were both amazing. For appetizers, we ordered the pretzel. I know most people don't think twice about how they're prepared but my husband is a self proclaimed pretzels snob and always asks if they're frozen and if they are, he passes. Our server highly recommended it so we got one. Omg. It was deliciously prepared - Not a ton of salt, just the right amount.. was seved with a beer cheese and a homemade mustard that was fantastic. For dinner, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and substituted the mushrooms for broccoli & my husband ordered the Cobb salad. I loved my pasta and so did my husband but his only complaint is the meat in his salad was a bit gray. He's was concerned that it may be out of date but as of now, everything was great. Would totally go again, but need to be starving. So much food!!

Yelp
This review is for GVB's banquet services. Huge thanks to the team, Megan and Destiny and Chef for taking care of our party on a busy graduation day, which included adding seating and food. Andrea, Corrie and Randall for assisting us with setting up the event and advising on the amount of food. The food spread options were great (wings, dip, antipasto, onion rings) and burger bar. The facility was warm and inviting for guest to mingle and move around. There was adequate seating and the staff was so flexible when an additional table and chairs were asked to be added for the fluctuation of guest throughout the event. Both Megan and Destiny were so personable and every guest was well attended to. Thank you to all the staff that we met and who were behind the scenes to make our graduate's and graduates family day special.

Yelp
Had drinks at the bar and the bartender was so nice, gave us samples and some useful suggestions. Place has ample seating.

Yelp
I visited Oregon for the first time with brothers and sisters, beautiful place to visit, I wanted to take everyone out for a steak dinner, 9 people, most of us had the fillet with vegetables, two hade the prime rib, when we walked in I noticed a smell, not to appealing, but I think it was because of the Rainey weather, the service was great, the atmosphere was ok, but the food quality was not great, the fillet was tough, for the price, no thank you, everyone had the same opinion, was subpar. Now saying that, it was packed, but if your going to charge that much, then take the time to cook the steaks properly. The vegetables were ok, I'm not really a fan of the mixture. Was just ok.

Chad L.

Yelp
Great food and drinks very friendly help if your in McMinnville give it a try the Bavarian pork schnitzel is my favorite followed by the Northwest burger It's a rustic public tap house!

Amanda N.

Yelp
Has indoor and outdoor searing. The staff is friendly. The service was a bit slow. The food was ok, good portion.

Yelp
This was a rare find and a jewel of a restaurant! I was with my husband in McMinville where we had rarely gone to a restaurant. I wanted to find a good steakhouse that's what he was looking for so we popped into an antique store on the main drag and ask the ladies where to go. They hands-down said the Golden Valley brewery emphatically!! They told us that this restaurant had their own ranch and raised their own beef and grew their vegetables from their own farm and also made their own beer. You never find that in a big city and you wouldn't find that in any fancy restaurant in a big city except in a very rare occasion and flown in of course. Exactly why I love living in the country! The food was absolutely delicious here beyond any comparison and we will definitely be returning every time we go to McMinville. The wait staff was wonderful we thanked them for being there because we realize how lucky we are during a pandemic to have help at all. Service was a little bit slow but again it was not their fault considering we are in a pandemic and there is such a demand for jobs and people are just not filling them which is so sad. I ordered the salad which is in the picture below and you can see it's delicious fresh and above and beyond anything I've ever had. I did miss out on the chicken because everything is so slowly prepared and not sitting around but I will get that next time. My husband ordered the big steak dinner and loved every bit of it he even ordered some ribs to take home for later. I would highly highly recommend this wonderful restaurant it is a rare gem in the middle of McMinville.

Yelp
Best seafood chowder I've ever had. Sorry didn't post a picture. Service was great. And very nice ambiance.

Yelp
WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! We stopped in to have lunch!!!! We had some GREAT FOOD !!!! The staff is really amazing, we were treated lovely and even got a beer tasting!!! Great end to my birthday weekend!!! Peace be with you all Sherri Annkin

Yelp
After leaving Portland, we decided to go South to McMinnville, we found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. Great Service and Great Food If you happen to ever be near hear. Try it , you will not be disappointed. .

Ronda A.

Yelp
We raise Wagyu beef and are usually very disappointed when trying to find a good steak when we eat out. We stumbled upon GVB on a trip to visit friends in Amity. Even though the parking lot was packed, we decided to give it a shot expecting to be waiting for some time. Although they were very busy, we were immediately ushered to a table and set up with drinks. I had the New York steak and I was very pleased. The quality of the steak was good but the preparation was STELLAR! Whoever cooked that thing knows how to cook a steak! It came out a perfect medium rare and the butter was bomb! Paired with those delicious vegetables and a Red Thistle Ale and I was in heaven.

Nancy E.

Yelp
I was super happy to find this place still open for dinner at 8 on a Monday after traveling. I sat at the bar so I could watch the NCAA champ game and had a nice OR Pinot with an excellent filet. I seldom order meat, but they raise their own grass fed cattle finished with the spent grains from the brewery. I gotta support that! Perfectly prepared, dry aged filet without the heaviness from (to me) overly marbled beef. The sides -mashed potatoes were a little gummy instead of fluffy, but broccolini was well seasoned and perfectly al dente. I found the Check In offer of a free pint, so enjoyed their hazy IPA while watching a very exciting finish to the game. Thanks GV Brewing for a nice welcome to McMinnville!

Forrest S.

Yelp
Walking in, I was instantly picturing how vibrant Golden Valley would be full of fellow McMinnvillians taking in their well rounded and well constructed brew selection from their beautiful indoor bar and dinning area. Like a cathedral of a pub, brought back thoughts of traditional European pubs, with something distinctly Orgonean about it. It is a beer church made for long afternoons that turn into evenings with room to move around in the spaces warm traditional big rooms. Outdoors, a wood fire burned and service was great on recommendations and steering the beer selections. The full staff was amazing hospitable and I want to say thank you. On food - A well rounded menu is positive take, and "Standard" would be a more condensed assessment. Fish and Chips were the highlight among a burger and a Korean bbq plate. They know fries, and fish and chips will be my choice for next time. I need to try the dinner entrees and salads to get the full picture on food, and I will definitely be back. All three selections for this lunch where quality offerings. With that, I am going to say the food frames the beer and the beer is the star. I need to revisit to be as accurate as possible on the subject of Golden Valley beer, but it is unique, distinctly unapologetic and delicious. The patio is awesome, thank you GVB staff for the accommodations and good vibes.

Laurel L.

Yelp
Pro: nice waitress who comped our drinks after we waited an hour for food. Good pretzel. Cons: Waited an hour for the food while people who had ordered well after us were served their meals. My burger, ordered medium rare, was well done and the fries were cold. My dad's onion rings were cold. Bread on sister's club sandwich was hard, mom's schnitzel was "eh." We were told multiple times that the food was coming right out, but it wasn't. This place has never been fabulous, but it was always fine. The second star is because I feel badly for our waitress. My guess? Most of our food sat there while the cook forgot to make the schnitzel and our waitress got stuck in the middle.

Jessie M.

Yelp
Everything about our experience was top notch ! We visited on Sunday, about 1:30 pm. It was not busy; we may have been between popular times. The service, from being seated to server to the young man delivering our food was amazing ! It being our first visit, I was wishy washy about which beer to choose. Our server brought a sample tasting to help me make a good decision. We enjoyed 3 different brews and all were great. Our food choices (macaroni & cheese and fish & chips) were delicious and we both cleaned our plates.

Cj N.

Yelp
Bar tender was very grumpy with staff while I was picking up my to-go order. $73 for crap food! Missed our sides, hardly any French fries with our burgers, and the speaking of the burgers, more bread than beef! I'll never eat here again!

Julie F.

Yelp
Cozy. Awesome looking prime rib. Special ordered the Jr Brewpub Burger and it came out standard. Took the pickles and onions off myself. Had the Porter, tasty but nothing special. Not busy on a Saturday evening. Server was personable.

Phil C.

Yelp
Wait staff was very nice and attentive. Ordered wine and cocktail. Wine delivered, lipstick marks on the rim. Open utensils, knife has dried food on it. Meals come, my seared salmon was delicious and crunchy outside, while moist inside. Nice job on it. My wife ordered pork chop, mashed potatoes, green beans. Her meal was luke warm. I mean everything and mashed potatoes were borderline cold. $90 for this meal. I would say it was expensive for the quality and portions. But, in today's market....

Tamara K.

Yelp
Decent place with friendly service but grossly overpriced for a brew pub. I took clients there for lunch a week ago and the cost for 3 people was $100 WITHOUT tip! So, $120 for 3 people for lunch at a brew pub. I decided to go back for Happy Hour today because I had to get some work done and was feeling cooped up during our crazy heat wave. I went for happy hour and had 2 beers and a pretzel. I didn't finish the pretzel and only had a dab of the cheese sauce available so I asked if it would be possible to get a bit more to take home with the pretzel. I went to cash out, (no bill was presented) and was surprised to be told my total was $23. I asked why my bill was $23 and the server then told me the extra little thing of cheese saucewas $3.50!! Yikes! Maybe .50 or $1 but $3.50?? She should have informed me of this!! I worked in restaurants for years and this is definitely something to inform a customer of. Had I been told that I would have skipped it! It isn't as if I ordered an extra hamburger patty or chicken on a salad. It was a side of freakin' sauce!

Rosemary D.

Yelp
I'm giving Golden Valley 5* for the type of restaurant they are. The menu is diverse, and the staff have always been good. They have an additional room that we have used for parties/celebrations. I feel like the food is always of good quality, and the owners care about the customer experience. It's a McM stable restaurant that I hope will always be here.

A B.

Yelp
Always delicious, generous portions, excellent beers on draft. Reasonably priced. Really enjoy their salads- amazed at their ability to handle lots of folks- Last nights dinner was fabulous- the nut rice loaf with smothered greens, red pepper sauce and roasted parsnips, turnips was out of this world!! It's almost impossible to find a restaurant that serves roasted veggies let alone cooked greens- I've had the veggie curry that could have used more protein/garbanzos- great salads, hubbies fish and chips was outstanding- great beers on tap, nice wines by the glass- our go to

Angie B.

Yelp
Great service, food was fantastic. The Cobb salad was wonderful and large (great bacon), the burger was perfect. I loved the raspberry hard cider was crisp and fruity.

David H.

Yelp
I've had mixed experiences with GVB over the years, but now I'm done with them. The IPA I had was ok, but had an off flavor...seemed like licorice. I wasn't sure if it was the beer, maybe a dirty tap line, or my palate. I would have tried another beer to be sure, but I could not get a server's attention to place another order. The burger was...ok. The beef was very tasty, but the bun was obviously past its prime and crumbled as I bit into it. Fresher bread and some mayo/aioli/lubricant would have helped. Fries were crisp and airy and flavorful. My wife had a Korean rice/beef/broccoli thing that was...ok. Veggies seemed like they had been previously frozen, and the sauce, in which the whole melange was swimming, was mouth puckeringly sweet. Seemed like it came from a bottle. From the grocery store. On a lower shelf. But the service was really the frustrating part. I've never seen so many staff running around without a corresponding return in service. I saw people waiting for tables or checks. Many servers moving about the space, but the customers were not taken care of. (Again...I would have ordered another beer given the opportunity.) We had to physically flag someone down to get our check. Then nobody returned to process the payment! I had the check and my card conspicuously in hand, and the server walked right past us with no acknowledgement and dealt with a different customer. When I got up to have the bartender take care of it, the server intercepted me and said tersely, "I was just coming to take care of that." Then why didn't she tell me that when she walked by? I cannot think of a reason to recommend this place.

Benjamin S.

Yelp
Burger was small and dry...stale bun....not many fries either.....so for $19.50 was quite the ripoff......waitress was also a bit "butch".........this place has really gone downhill from a few years ago...you are MUCH better off eating at Barrel 47 in Carlton. Better food AND prices

Jamie O.

Yelp
This place is ok. Food is ok. Beer is a little better than ok. Each time we have come here, we have been underwhelmed. Distracted servers who don't seem very happy to be there (though the young hosts have been nice). Signs and menus all proclaiming fresh, local ingredients but part of your meal arrives with clearly packaged/frozen elements... Our latest visit: not a terribly busy afternoon. Maybe half the restaurant was full. Our waiter took a few to finally come to our table and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Didn't provide any information about the beers. Didn't give us time to add any food orders. When he finally brought our beers over, he accidentally spilled some beer onto my side of the table and then just set it down in front of me. We had to ask him if we could order food and then placed our orders. He never came back to wipe up the spilled beer, nor had a busboy come by to clean it up either. My partner ordered a burger which he said was good and he enjoyed. I ordered the chicken pot pie which was completely different than described on the menu. On the menu it says roasted and pulled chicken. They brought out a bunch of cubed chicken with frozen puff pastry. Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue, but I specifically ordered the chicken pot pie because of the way the chicken was prepared. (I really don't like cubed chicken.) Our waiter made his way past our table one time while we were eating and never checked in on us again. He was more concerned with filling the water glasses on another table right next to us. Even though he continually passed our table, he never looked over to see what we needed. We had to flag someone else down to get us ranch dressing. We also had to flag our waiter down, after we had been sitting without food or drink for close to 10 minutes, to get our check (and where we almost had a dirty lap full of food/silverware as the waiter tried to clear my partner's plate). We were then informed that our waiter had messed up and gave our check to someone else who already paid and left. And now he had to figure out how to get us our check. So the restaurant's mixup ended up becoming another inconvenience for us as we waited for them to sort it out... Finally brought over the check and almost dropped it and ran, before we asked him to stay so we could pay and get out of there. No consideration was given to us for the wait, spill, inconvenience... A very underwhelming experience that we feel we really over paid for. Their prices do not equate to the quality and service level you would expect. If you are in need of something in the area, and a lot of other things are closed or too busy, this place can do fine. Just don't have any big expectations for your experience.

Yelp
A jokester of a waitress started our evening out with funny puns and hilarious jokes ... this was just the start of a GREAT evening ! The group of us, 14 in all, were very happy with our meals! Every menu item was a taste treat ... the fish and chips excellent, Korean barbecue great, Ribs mouthwatering, Cob Salad was delicious and everyone raves about their meals. The atmosphere created a bond between us, other patrons and the staff ... well worth the drive to McMinnville to enjoy a drink and a meal

Yelp
The food was good but the service was nonexistent. If you have a lot of time and don't care if you get any service with the place almost empty then this is ok.

Yelp
We were in town on a Saturday night without a reservation and I knew we could get in here. And I was right. We sat right down outside. Forgetting the street beside the brewery is fairly busy so the noise level as cars passed was a little too loud. We had a chicken sandwich with green chilies (which was the best meal at the table) with fries. And that is not saying much...Then my friend had a burger which was over cooked and the sides came out wrong but the waitress corrected it quickly! And I did the chicken pot pie, which came out a little on the cold side but I said nothing. Also I had to add pepper and hot sauce to give it some flavor. People who know me KNOW I never add hot sauce or pepper! This is a good spot to grab a beer and maybe grab an appetizer. It's bar food ...but it's a Bar. So it lives right up to its reputation. It's Bar food.

Yelp
Figured we would give Golden Valley a shot as we were staying close by and enjoy beer! We had to start with their monstrous beer flight. It included 10 beers for only $12. Overall the beers were average. Nothing really blew us away. Regardless, I can't complain for a cheap buzz! The food was actually the highlight for us. We started with the spring rolls which were tasty and came with an outstanding slaw and sauce. I went with a burger as my entree as it was suggested by our awesome waitress Tanya. She let us know that the owners of the brewpub also own the cattle farm which provides the beef. They also feed leftover grain from the brewing process to the cattle. The mushroom gorgonzola burger was great. It was tender, juicy and cooked perfectly.

Yelp
I came here in a trip down to the beach from the Portland area, this place was incredible. I'm always skeptical about breweries as the food tends to be hit or miss but here it was definitely a hit. My family of 7 got numerous things including the nachos, Reuben sandwich, and French Dip Sandwich. The Reuben I'm particular was incredible. Our server, Brian was probably the single best server I've ever had. He was on it! He got refills on all the drinks without us having to ask and he gave great recommendations on beer and cider, even letting us try a couple to decide on which ones we wanted. The place was well lit and open with a bar area, inside dining area, and outside dining area and had the classic brewery smell. Overall, despite the friendly environment, and great food, it was Brian that brought the entire experience over the top.

Yelp
Was one of my favorites but I think it's going down hill. Love the atmosphere but lately it stops there. I had lunch there today by myself and had a reuben sandwich. The waitress came back to ask what I had ordered because she sent it to the wrong table. Not a big deal, she was nice. However, the reuben was so hard to eat because the bread was soggy. Made me wonder how long it sat somewhere before delivered to me. They make good reuben's there but they can't sit too long or the juices will eat through the bread just like a juicy hamburger will through a weak bun. And, what is it about a restaurant that gets good prices, and lately raises them and only gives you one lousy napkin. Don't be cheep I asked for a second one but didn't get it till it was too late. I think my new favorite will be Grain Station Brew Works right down the street.
