Golf- & Strandhotel neuhaus zum see

We stayed at Neuhaus Golf & Strandhotel, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Although it’s a 3-star hotel, the service truly feels like a 4 or even 5-star level. They prepared our room beautifully for our honeymoon with chocolates and a lovely handwritten card — such a thoughtful touch that made our stay special. I really want to highlight the receptionist — she was incredibly polite, respectful, and genuinely kind. We’ve stayed in many hotels, but we’ve never met someone as friendly and warm as her. Her attitude alone adds a unique charm to the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet was also impressive, with a wide variety of options — honestly, it felt like a 4-star breakfast because of how rich and diverse it was. As for minor notes: • The scrambled eggs had a slight smell, and I hope this point gets a bit more attention. • The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting sometimes. And regarding the lack of air conditioning and no elevator — we didn’t consider them disadvantages at all; they didn’t affect our comfort in any way. Overall, a wonderful hotel with excellent service, beautiful vibes, and truly memorable hospitality. Highly recommended!

Pro: room is very clean. View from the room is awesome! The room is right next to the lake! Breakfast has many options, and they refill all stuff till 10 (unlike some other hotels if you wake up late near 10, then you likely won't have much choice). Commute to this hotel is not complicated. Bus 21 just has a stop in front the hotel. Price is in general competitive in this area. Con: the building of this hotel is very old. You can tell from the room interior right away. It made me question if I really booked a 3 star hotel. The room is quite small. The mattress is way too soft, not comfortable at all. There is no AC in the room (only a noisy fan in the bathroom), so it can feel a bit lack of ventilation. You can open the window but there is no screen over it to prevent bugs coming in. Literally no sound proof. I can clearly tell all the sounds from my neighbors and people upstairs. I ended up having to put on the ear plugs.

I would rate it higher but both the waiters were weird there,racists. one of the waiter was very rude to me. Embarrassed me in front of other guests near the breakfast hall. He was very friendly and giggly with the other local Swiss guests though. Maybe he doesn’t like brown people or he is just a grumpy old man. Never had such experience from a hotel staff before. Ruined my day.

Great location on the lake with lovely grounds leading to the lake shore and some great walks / views by the lake. We stayed in a family room which was great for 3 adults - 2 separate bedrooms and a decent bathroom. Room was quite basic but it had a fridge and was reasonably spacious, we were located in the motel style accommodation block separate from the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was good with a nice view of the lake. We ended up not using the hire car at all during our stay as the free bus service from outside the hotel connected well the railway stations in Interlaken - bus times arrived at Interlaken Ost 5 mins before trains depart for the Jungfrau region so ideal.

I'm so glad we decided to stay here even if it was one of the more expensive options. The included breakfast was a life saver and you saved money there. It was also delicious and there were lots of fresh options every morning. There's also a bus stop very nearby which will get you into Interlaken in 20 minutes which makes it very quick access into town. You also have the boat which runs at two different times in the day into Interlaken West. The location of this hotel is perfect. On top of that it feels like resort because of the beauty around you and how closed and private it feels. You feel like you're on a private lake and the views at all times of the day are stunning. Lastly, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

We stayed in Neuhaus Strandhotel from 18 to 24Mar2025. Nice big room for the 3 of us with great views overlooking the mountains and facing Lake. Very comfortable and cosy room with big toilet. We were happy with the buffet breakfast provided. Complete with fresh fruits, choices of bread, selection of cheese, cold cuts yoghurt, cereal and main course. A complete wholesome meal to kick start the day. The restaurant Manager, Mr Sandro is extremely friendly, helpful, hard working and really leads his staff by example. He talks to every guest from the old to the very young and was always working / collecting the used dishes efficiently wearing big smiles. Wonderful service that really impressed every guest. I will not hesitate staying in this hotel again for my next holiday to Switzerland. 😀

A brilliant hotel, the staff were super attentive and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a great view of the lake. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of dinner options nearby and a great location too. Would definitely stay again.

A beutiful place, with great ambience and even more- a great surrounding!! Its all worth to travell for 10 min from Interlaken, to travel to stay at this place! The adjascent lakeside is mind-blowing and charishmatic! They have a nicely located restaurant with a good view of this lake..
