Golf- und Sporthotel Hof Maran

We spent a week of ski holiday in February in this cosy hotel. The staff are professional and friendly. The bus stops right in front of the hotel making it easy to move around. The hotel offers complementary ski school for kids which was very helpful. They also have partnership with ski rentals, giving discounted prices and free pickup of the equipment after holiday. The meals were great work of artistry and flavour to the palate. Definitely going back again!

Away from the chaos and surrounded by and immersed in the green of the beatiful swiss alps, the Golf- and Sporthotel Hof Maran is the ideal place to relax. I have spent 3 nights with my family, and we were so pleased that we booked already onsite our next stay. The bedroom (Alpine Mountain Suite) was spotless, breakfast buffet offers plenty of choices, food selection at the restaurant is never boring. No need to say that in this place the quality of sleeping is extremely high. The staff was really friendly, helpful and discrete (which is what I really defined perfectly customer oriented). A must-come-back place highly recommended.

Stayed here for a ski vacation and had a fantastic experience. The location and infrastructure were excellent, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. Our kids felt welcome and loved the playroom. The fitness room and sauna were perfect for relaxing. The room was spacious and well-maintained. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a weekend get away and dog training weekend at this beautiful location and hotel. The staff are very friendly, accommodating. Great place to hike from in a number of directions. Good bus connection to town. Breakfast was great. Selection of break, cereals, jams, yogurts, cheeses,..fantastic. Dinner was today terrific as well with friendly and accommodating staff. The chandeliers in the breakfast area are beautiful. If I had any improvement recommendations it would be to have the ability to make coffee in the room and in the shower to have soap dispensers...but those are little things.

The room and hotel facilities were great. Our suite was modern, clean, bright, spacious and practical with plenty of storage space. The staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable and well looked after, even with a not always quiet toddler. The location was perfect for us, a little away from the village center, accessible by car, local bus or on foot (about 30 minutes from Arosa, uphill). Quiet location. The Arosa Card is a great addition, allowed us to use the cable car to the bear park, discounted admission to the same as well as a ride on the pedalo and the use of the local bus. Price-performance ratio and choice of dishes on the evening menu could be improved from our point of view, a tea and coffee option in the room would have been great as well as a visible à la carte menu at breakfast. Breakfast lovely otherwise. All in all, we were very happy with our stay at Hof Maran.

We stayed at Hof Maran for 10 days in July 2024. The entire experience, from the reception at arrival to the check-out, was exceptional. Besides the high level of professionalism, the friendliness of the staff was remarkable. There was never a "no, we cannot do". Whatever wishes we had, they were met, even if we were late in asking for picknick packages or forgot to arrange juices for our hike, we just asked, and it was done. The rooms were modern and very clean and cozy, lots of wood! You wake up to a spectacular view from the balcony to the mountain peaks! The food quality was excellent. Since there are various restaurants near the hotel, we had the choice from simple Bratwurst with Rösti (fried sausage with potatoes) up to a five-course menue. The leisure possibilities are abundant. We went mainly for hiking. The nature and the views are spectacular. (added some pictures of our hikes, the property itself looks really like on the pictures on their website )

We came to visit Hof Maran for the second time and it was a great experience again. What a wonderful place. The views are amazing, the service is very personal and the food is tiptop. A fantastic place to play tennis as well;) Sad to leave again, but the good news: we will come back!

The Hotel is very Romantic specialty when snow falls! The room is new renovated The bed is so so comfortable. Toilet is big balcony also very big The Reception is very helpful friendly 😊 The bar and bar design give some how feeling like in Nursing homes 😂 The Sauna room is under ground floor nothing special small panic attack for someone who's scary of narrow 😆 The Gym I love it new equipment We was one for Dinner Oh dear God the service is very unmotivated The food was very cook without emotion! Not need to talk about the test! The Breakfast is also the same Not much option no fresh fruit! Just Apple and 🍊 Fat bacon Some eeg cook with Butter But the view of the hotel very good 👍 The Reading Room that where I love the most For the price what you pay and breakfast what you received they very need to improve
