Amazing ride! The drop is so intense and being a hybrid makes it a super smooth ride. Sideways curves, corkscrews, loop that feels like a stall while upside down. Only thing that I wish I would have been prepared for, there is NOTHING to hang onto. Lol my husband didn't want to ride front row, so I couldn't see how much more track we had to climb and that was a mental scare when I KNEW what the drop looked like, the anticipation with no handles made it extra terrifying, but it was so great. Definitely in my top 5 favorite coasters at Great America, but it's definitely a max thrill coaster too.

Goliath at Six Flags Great America is an absolute powerhouse and deserves a full 5-star rating! This ride is an adrenaline junkie’s dream, with its record-breaking speed and incredible drops. The first drop is mind-blowingly steep, giving you an intense rush of excitement right from the start. The inversions are smooth and thrilling, and the overall design of the coaster is impressive. Despite its intensity, Goliath is surprisingly smooth, making for an enjoyable ride from start to finish. It’s definitely one of the standout attractions at the park and a must-ride for anyone seeking an unforgettable coaster experience!

This ride is THE BEST at the park. Typically short lines, a long ride experience, and a stomach dropping near vertical drop. This is and will always be my favorite ride at the park.

One of the more smooth experiences on an RMC roller coaster. It's well paced and you're never bored. The themeing to the entire experience was an enjoyable bonus. Many parks do not give much attention to that, but this ride had a lot to look at. This coaster is definitely not for fainthearted guests. It's fast, darty, includes great air time has several inversions. For those fellow thrill seekers, do not skip this one!

Goliath is the fifth shortest Rocky Mountain Construction coaster, but it's got a whopping 180ft drop and hits a top speed of 72mph with a zero G 'stall' and a gnarly dive drop. This replaced the stand-up coaster Iron Wolf. Lines frequently stretch into the 45-60min range, and they really staple you into the restraints (for good reason). Protip: the back row is way wilder than the front row and has a MUCH shorter wait. Goliath is intense and very thrilling, but it's over far too soon to be considered the best coaster at Great America (and nowhere near the best RMC out there).

Goliath is RMC’s second ground up coaster and it does not disappoint. The drop off the lift hill and combination of elements work so well together. The ride is on the shorter side but wow does it pack a punch. The stall feels like you are hanging there for such a long time. You don’t get extreme forceful ejector air time like in the some the other RMCs, but this is just a fun ride.

Always fun, even if we just walk around most of the time. Especially during fright fest.

Goliath was worth driving to Chicago to ride. It's famous element is the zero-g stall and it was so cool because you can pretend you are in outer space like an astronaut! They worked as hard as possible to cram an awesome rollercoaster in that small space. Maybe one day I can ride it again.
