Gondia International Guesthouse | Hotel & Kontrakan Terbaik di Menteng, Jakarta Pusat

The hotel is old yet comfortable. The breakfast was only nasi goreng, but that was fine for me. The staffs are limited and the service was not like any other commercial hotels but they are friendly and helpful. The place is in a strategic point in the centre of Jakarta. Near Taman Ismail Marzuki and Goethe Institut. Nice surroundings and neighbourhood.

Worth the money. Free WiFi.free breakfast. Uber taxi pick up possible 85000 indunàsia rupia to SH airport.||Cheap price.otherwise taxi will demand 250000 rupia. Do not use big restaurants. Save money with small restaurants. Jalan jaksa has few eateries. Very cheap. Lunch for 2 cost around 45000 rupiah.

It was a business sleep but with a toddler. The breakfast was okay (bread and tea for me), the bed was nice. The ambience was nice. But the bathroom, not so much. No amenities, only towels. And there was a shower and a bucket (?). And the frontdesk, somehow often guardless.

(+)|The room was quite. The guesthouse is nearby a commuter train station that brings you easily to the historic center. ||(-)|No hot water in the shower. Lots of mosquitos inside the room (I had to sleep with a mosquito net). No housekeeping. No proper cleaning (the garbage bin was still full with the rubbish of the person who had this room before me). No English speaking TV channel (I don't know why they call this place international?). Poor poor breakfast (I got toast but not toaster and jam and butter in jars that looked very filthy.) The ac is old and it takes time to cool down the room. The neighbourhood is very poor and dirty. ||Conclusion:|I wanted a cheap place to stay - I got it. After two nights I deceided to check out well ahead of time as it was not what I had in mind. This place is simpel and suitable for simpel accomodation. If you wish Western comfort look somewhere else.

Quite cheap and located away from the crowd. The only thing that I disappointed is the cell phone signal is almost impossible. Been trying any corners of the space but no luck. My boss called me almost every hour but I couldn't be reached.

Awful place, dirty bathroom no hot water, dirty rooms and smells mouldy, the facility are bad no toilet paper no water, bed sheets stained ,fridge didn't work at all,when asked to un lock safety deposit box was told it doesn't work asked for extra key for room as we have different schedules didn't have one,the manager had no intention of moving out of his chair for any body let alone try and say the word service,the breakfast was poor fried egg and half cooked boiled rice this would rate as the poorest and most run down hotel I have stayed in in the last 30 years of travel out of 5 I give it 1

The worst place I ever stayed and only because we arrived late night. Dirty, smelly, place is a health hazard and should be closed immediately. It's not even close what you see on photos, don't trust it.

Nice place to stay. Free toast for breakfast. Free flow coffee, tea, and mineral water.
