The owner took the time to chat with me and sharing insights and even slipping in a small discount at checkout. I wish I had more time to check out this book store. They have interesting collection of books. The amazing thing is, the 2nd hand books comes with amazing discounts. I highly recommend this library/store for any book lover. And the cherry on top is, Mr. Menezes can give good insights about books you chose. I wish them the best!!!.

Most of my visits to Goobe have been okay when it comes to the range of books displayed and the purchases I’ve made. My interactions with the owner have mostly been curt. And the last time I visited, the owner was outright rude and mean and a little scary and it was such a crappy experience that that was my last visit and don’t think I’ll ever go back or even recommend this place to any of my book lover friends. When you are in the service industry you need to treat your customers with respect, this place lacks that. Edit: Responding to the owner… I left an honest review sharing my experience only. Looks like somebody got their ego hurt. There’s no need to get unprofessional and say stuff like lodge a police complaint, calling somebody a fool or trying to hand out therapist recommendations. There is a way to handle criticism. Your response is totally uncalled for and is a clear example of how people and customers are treated at your service.

Good organized collection of books at affordable cost with good discount.friendly owner who greets you warmly upon entering the shop who also guides you through the shop to find the book you're searching for.

The collection of the books were less and they were not much organised. For some reasons I felt the store keeper not much interested in selling. The costs were bit high. There are better options like blossoms boom house just few metres away.

It's an absolute not-so-hidden delight near Bangalore's famous Church Street...Stepping into this humble realm of a bookstore makes you forget the silicon valley aura of Bangalore, with it's old world rustic charm and nostalgic collection of reads including graphics and independents. The prices are reasonable though the independent works are a bit pricey! Totally worth a visit for every single book lover as well nostalgia trippers🤓

Excellent collection of used books. Very reasonable prices. Cherry on top is the additional discount of 20% if you buy above 500 rupees. (The books are already fairly priced)
