The restaurant itself was a bit dated and the restroom needed some help. Other than that, there were no issues. There is also have a coffee bar in the restaurant. We got the bowl of clam chowder and the seafood sampler plate to go. The clam chowder was delicious but it was probably only about 8-10 ounces. For $10, I felt like there could have been more. The sampler plate was good. All items were hot and crisp. I was pleasantly surprised that none of the items were chewy. There was one of each, oyster, scallop, and prawn along with calamari strips and fish The tartar sauce, I felt, had a bit too much relish. The cocktail sauce was spot on. I felt like the price was decent for the portion. I regret not getting better pictures. I forgot as we quickly got to eating.

Google
I tried the fish tacos not a lot of flavor wasn’t a huge fan, but they were OK. My son tried the sampler thought most of it was pretty good. My wife had the tuna fish sandwich and clam chowder and loved it.

Having visited Crescent City a couple of times in the last few months. I wanted to explore local dining. I decided on a quaint diner with a country feel - Good Harvest Cafe. I started my meal with a cup of hot clam chowder. It had a flavorful blend of creaminess, clam meat, and potato chunks. My main course was breaded chicken breast on a bed of rice with a mix of lightly seasoned vegetables. The chicken was moist, tender, and tasty. I topped off my meal with their Mocha Float, which was so good. I would definitely come here again.

Google
I'm not a big sea food guy. I've never had good calamari. My wife ordered the calamari burger, and convinced me to taste it...it was amazing. It wasn't chewy, and it had an after taste that was even better. I'd be willing to try other sea food options there. I had the New York Burger and pasta salad. The burger was perfect and juicy. I almost added ketchup because that's how I eat burgers, but I didn't, and I'm glad. It was perfection. Jake was an amazing and attentive server. He explained stuff to us, engaged in conversation, answered questions. Probably one of the best servers I've had in a long time. Some of the prices were pretty steep, but after tasting the less expensive options, I can imagine it's all worth it.

Google
Had supper here. The wife had the Baja fish tacos (halibut) said it was okay. I had the seafood linguine. Which I liked. We both had a side salad. We were both stuffed when we were done eating. Plenty of food here.

Google
Haven't been to or even know of a restaurant that operates like this anymore. Full entree's and you will need a to go box. Excellent Old Fashions made the right way as well. I had the Seafood Sampler and it is amazing. Even if you are passing through, you cannot pass by. Great view of the bay as well.

Google
Truly enjoyed the food - every thing was very good or better!! Fresh squeezed juice is a nice plus Bathrooms seem a bit dated as does the dining room

Google
Friendly service, excellent atmosphere. We were so pleased with our food and drinks. Not pictured, but the seafood linguine was fantastic!

Yelp
We've been coming here for years and years. Anytime we come through Crecent City we stop for a meal here. The food is consistently good. The staff is always friendly. The place is clean and the food gets to you in a reasonable time. They have great coffee and fresh juice.

Yelp
Biscuits and Gravy was the choice for our visit Top notch and full of flavor:) big chunks of sausage too! They took care of us in quick fashion, with a large breakfast rush. Thanks for the full bellies and friendly service!

Yelp
Let's talk about fresh ingredients and the best fresh squeezed orange juice I've had since the late 1980s. I personally had the Santa Fe and it was pretty delicious, packed with potatoes, green chilies, bacon, and then topped with salsa, cheese, avocado, and sour cream . But the orange juice really stole the show for me. I wish I could have bought a gallon of it and taken it home! Okay, onto the food. The biscuits and gravy were good, and if you like a very thick almost pasty gravy then this will rock your socks! The service was quick and the waitress kind and willing to answer any and all questions we that we had. I love the Native American artwork throughout and that A1 sauce was on the tables. My only constructive criticism was that there was no Louisiana style hot sauce and I'm not a fan of tabasco, Tapatio, or Cholula (all of which they did have!). I would recommend this place if you're staying in crescent city and looking for a fresh and hearty breakfast!

Yelp
We come early so no other customers. They served the food fast. Loves the service . The egg benedict and the chicken fried steak so good! Their portion is big enough for 2 serving. I shared the food with my kid. Nice decoration inside too. Good breakfast to start your day!

Yelp
Great food, generous portions and friendly service. We were quite surprised by what a pleasant experience this was. We were not expecting much but the clam chowder was delicious and especially the crispy flavorful garlic bread that came with it. And the seafood sampler was huge, with big giant shrimp, huge oyster and calamari pieces, and nice cod, it was just excellent. This place is really worth a stop. Oh and the beer on tap was cold, refreshing and had great flavor too, all in all a real surprise and treat!

Yelp
Friendly service and good food at this local restaurant we stopped at on our road trip. The fried chicken with gravy was good as was the fried cod and the chicken feta sandwich. The tacos were good. Very tasty claw chowder and vegetable soup.

Yelp
Sent here by our hotel & it was great! Sit upstairs to get a fabulous view of the water & marina. Our server Jacob was on point with everything from food recommendations to directions around town We both had the red snapper & loved it. Wish we were staying longer so we could return to try more food!
google avatar

Frances L.

Yelp
The staff was Onpoint, we had a light dinner the night before and we were famished so we asked for suggestions and the frittatas were mentioned as filling and delicious so we went with those. They were not kidding, I couldn't finish my plate. Delicious veggies completes the eggs perfectly. The fresh squeezed orange juice although a little pricey at almost $8 a glass was delicious I would splurge on it again. The seafood options are fresh. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would like to stop in for dinner next time.

Yelp
It was nice to have offerings that were cooked with healthy eating in mind. Fresh and yummy. Returned for breakfast, veggie scramble was the bomb!! Friendly staff and nice artwork on the walls. Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
Great service. good food. Fish tacos were good. Fish and chips were good. Food came out fast even during lunch time.

David S.

Yelp
The oyster were gooey and the cheap panko breading sloughed off. The pre-packaged vegetable mix was undercooked. Thoroughly unimpressive. Well, the baked potato was ok....

Yelp
I did not think that I would say this for a small town diner/restaurant but boy , they had extremely good coffee , the kind that wakes you up and makes you excited about your day. We came for breakfast enroute to Redwood and the place did not disappoint. The space inside is huge with multiple sections for seating and is well lit and warm . The ambience is very old world which felt kind of charming . The staff was all women and they were on their A game that morning . Not for a second did we feel that we were not being taken care of. The food is alright but you will definitely be full because of the sheer quantity of potatoes that come with every plate . I found the pricing just a tad bit expensive - $15 for one egg on toast ? I know eggs are like gold these days but damn that's a lot . Parking is right outside with a dedicated parking lot for the restaurant .

Yelp
Want to Crescent City to get out of the heat inland. When we go we always stop at Good Harvest Cafe. They have great home cooking style food and many Gluten Free options and accommodations. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a small bar upstairs. I would recommend sitting upstairs to get a view and it tends to be not a cold up there from the air conditioning. Our waiter was great, he was helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable about our options and right on track with the service. Everyone is friendly there. I had the fish tacos with a salad. 2 tacos but generous, Bill had the Jed Smith burger with mushrooms and grilled onions with their homemade potato salad. Other orders in our group were the Tuna Manhattan; albacore tuna salad on grilled sourdough and a Turkey Reuben; hot turkey pastrami sauerkraut and Russian dressing both with fries. It states on the menu They use local grass fed ocean view beef. Bill said it was delicious!

Tina A.

Yelp
This place was amazing! We've done breakfast, dinners there. And all meals were wonderful!! The drinks are nice and strong as well.

Gwen G.

Yelp
The food and service was excellent! This place is beautiful. We will definitely be back to have the Santa Fe Scramble. My grandson from Texas said it's the best biscuits & gravy he's ever had!

Renee B.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting the Crescent City area for the weekend. We ate breakfast there twice. The food was fresh and the flavor was delicious. We absolutely loved the sausage patty and the breakfast potatoes. They were seasoned just right. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. It felt cozy and relaxing, and I loved the Native American decorating. I will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

Anndrea S.

Yelp
First of all I tried to call the order in and the phone call wouldn't go through! I went a little after noon and they were busy. I went to the counter to order and after I did the girl said 10-15 minutes. They have no where to sit for to go orders. I had ordered 2 chicken And Feta sandwiches one with pasta salad and 1 with potato salad. They were 17.00 each! The one that had pasta salad was filled in the box. Mine had a baby scoop of potato salad! I paid 17.00 for this lunch and am highly disappointed! The other one that had pasta salad when my co worker opened her box the sandwich looked like it had just been thrown in there! You can do better! This is my favorite sandwich and I am so mad! The look of the restaurant as far as I can tell looked good.

Yelp
the fish and chips were great, hot, fresh, crunchy. the coleslaw was very disappointing. it was limp, watery slop. couldn't eat it. I love fresh coleslaw, but this wasn't fit for consumptio.

Yelp
We stopped for breakfast after checking out of our hotel ... on our way through town Our breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.
google avatar

Katherine H.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow. But everyone was nice. It's a cute place in a touristy area near the coast. I heard the clam chowder was very good. I spilt a chicken dish that was great. And the potato and fries were really good. Second time there. Definitely worth stopping in.

Yelp
We found this place while in search of breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The ambience is very relaxed and humble, the kind of mom-and-pop place where staff know the names of their regulars. Our waitstaff were really friendly. We ordered the Santa Fe omelette and the Huevos Rancheros omelette; both were delicious with huge portion sizes. It was nice to have a comfortable place to sit, have breakfast, and not feel rushed.

Ann R.

Yelp
So glad we ate here! Great staff, food was amazing. I Highly recommended Good Harvest Cafe.

John S.

Yelp
A woman could squeeze a baby out easier than squeezing a smile out of the restaurant staff. Smiles are free! No matter how busy or neurotic you are, smiles don't cost anything. The place felt unfriendly and the food was not good at all. My wife ate a quarter of her meal. Her sandwich was dripping white liquid and tasted horrible. It took her some time to recover from it. My fish and chips were also not good. The fries were dry and tasteless and the fish had a terrible aftertaste. What a nightmare! Perhaps this was an anomaly as there seem to be many positive reviews. However, our experience will not be repeated. It took the waiter about 20 min to take our order. I had to go to the counter for water refill as the waiter disappeared. We were not pleased with the service nor the food. Maybe you will have a better experience.

Yelp
Excellent place to stop and eat food is simple but done very well.T he service was on point they keep it clean and check in and keep you well taken care of. I really enjoyed this place I will be back for sure.
google avatar

Lin C.

Yelp
Good food fast. It's your regular diner food, so don't expect anything fancy. It's worth the value of your money, and their coffee is stinking good!!!

Linda E.

Yelp
Everything on the menu is delicious, including the cocktails and smoothies. I absolutely love their grilled salmon with the best tartar sauce I've ever tasted. I always bring visitors to the Cafe.

Angie L.

Yelp
We pretty much ate most of our meals here, breakfast lunch and dinner. Every meal was delicious. Highly recommend this place. My favorite was the coffee. The best coffee at any restaurant I have been. Thank you for the coffee we needed it with all the hiking.
google avatar

Sharece C.

Yelp
This menu looks amazing and health! Lots of farm fresh options, cage free eggs, clean oils! I'm loving it!

Natalia O.

Yelp
Best food we've had in town. Great service and a great view. My mom and I were visiting and took us a bit to find a good spot but this is it.
google avatar

Jan D.

Yelp
What a plesant suprise! Extensive menu, excellent halibut, Greek salad, friendly staff, clean restaurant, The Bridge Sirius (XM) playlist!

Cindy W.

Yelp
Terrible customer service within the past year and food isn't what it used to be. Tried again a couple of weeks ago and they didn't write people's names down for a waiting list which is unprofessional. People came out and told us it was terrible service so we left.
google avatar

Mary A.

Yelp
One of the only options in Crescent City. Food was fair, service was adequate, our server seems frazzled and confused. Prices were high for what you get.
google avatar

Jose T.

Yelp
Definitely a great breakfast place to stop by in. Service is great, though it's a bit busy they have a good amount of staff. Had the French toast plate, buddy grabbed the chicken fried steak which was a good portion.
google avatar

Michele K.

Yelp
The food is alright. It's a far cry from home cooking. Our server was pleasant and nice. The restaurant was nothing to get excited about. The chairs need to be replaced and the retro vibe was rustic
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
We stayed across the street and are glad we discovered this place in the morning before we hit the road. Service was great and our meal was served quickly. We both had small scrambles (compared to the regular size) and were happy with our decision. My small veggie scramble was the perfect size and it was served with toast. The coffee was good but I would have loved a latte , but didn't realize that was an option until we were checking out. The decor was Native American paintings and artifacts. I'd certainly eat there again and glad to recommend it to locals and/or travelers.

Yelp
Spending the night in Crescent City, and wanted a place to grab dinner. Asked a couple of the locals where to eat, and they recommended this place. Great recommendation. Staff was great. Our drinks and food were fantastic. Not sure when we will be through Crescent City again, but when we do, we will eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
Crapy service. Do not like to accommodate the customer. All over "egg whites" vs yolk on an omelette...hahahaha laughable
google avatar

Gia L.

Yelp
Portion size was good , price was ok but food was a bit bland. Seats large party, the waiter/ress were all really nice

Yelp
Dinner rating: super good! Originally we were headed to the chart room but it was packed, hot and a 30 min wait. So we left and came to Good Harvest and got more than the dinner we expected :) We were seated right away- the service was friendly and quick. They move like a team which is good to see. It was delicious and quick to be served. The restaurant also had a good amount of seating for others coming in. I think it's got a 3 star yelp because the people there probably don't Yelp much and people are always quick to complain about things. But there are no complaints here :)

West C.

Yelp
Update for my birthday dinner Oct 23. Got the steak again, almost as good as the first time I had it. Veggies were raw and cool, so was a bummer too. My biggest complaints were the chairs on second level being uncomfortable, and the flatware bargain basement, with sharp edges, very thin. Waitress said they had no better fork for me to use for my steak. Server was very nice. We spent over $120 for 3 people with tip, only one beer, two sodas, and no dessert. I will go there again but bring my own fork and look around for a better chair if they have them.

Yelp
STEPH JUDGMENT: A diner with good amount of vegetarian offerings. We were looking for a breakfast place in town and this place happened to be very close to our hotel. They also seemed to have a good amount of vegetarian items on the menu, which was surprising but welcome. We ended up having breakfast here twice while in the area since it was so convenient, but it was a big plus that the food and service happened to be good as well. I tried the California Benedict and Veggie Scramble and they were delish. If you're looking for a down-home diner that also happens to have some great veg items, this place is for you!
google avatar

Beth D.

Yelp
We went here 2 times during our stay in the area. The first day I got the eggs Benedict, which sadly had little to no flavor. I had to use a lot of hot sauce to doctor it up. The next day I got the ABC omelette which was much better. The flavors combined together well. Someone in my party has to eat gluten-free foods and said that the gluten free bread was delicious for the toast! My nephew got the blueberry pancakes and there were a ton of blueberries in there! The next day he got a regular buttermilk pancake and he said it was the fluffiest pancake he ever had. Service was overall good. Everyone was very nice. I gave 3 stars because of some of the blandness of some of the foods.
google avatar

Jorge M.

Yelp
First time having lunch. Overall, the food was good and the staff was nice and efficient. We sat by window and had a nice view of the harbor and traffic. Will return.
google avatar

Sarah Q.

Yelp
We went here for breakfast and dinner. What I loved about both meals that I had here was that it wasn't "greasy" which can be hard to do with bacon/breakfast potatoes/eggs and a burger/fries. The staff was friendly and kind and it didn't take too long for our food to arrive. I would come again, especially for breakfast.
google avatar

Eric E.

Yelp
The food and service are excellent. The coffee is too and my cup was never empty. I enjoyed the ambiance. I had the Santa Fe scramble and it was marvelous.
google avatar

Enoc G.

Yelp
Excellent service. Very friendly staff from the host who greeted my mom and I to our server Brittany who took her time to give us the specials, bring us extra napkins and everything we ordered was perfect and delicious. I asked about the local weather and Brittany was kind enough to share some local info and went above and beyond to write a small list of places to see and visit nearby. Came for the food and it was delicious, we left impressed by the service. Thank you

Yelp
3.5 to be precise !! am surprised to see these many vegetarian options in a small beach town!! The coffee was absolutely delicious, the portion was way too much than I expected. The tofu rancheros was good, but tasted kind of bland for me but the jalapeño salsa that our waiter recommended made it taste amazing !! The staff were very friendly. We reached the restaurant at around 11:40 and their lunch menu starts at 12pm. They seem to be very strict about it and we only had an option to get the breakfast menu. We were a little disappointed about that. The pancakes were good as well! Overall friendly staff, decent vegetarian options but the food kind of tasted bland.
google avatar

Carolyn J.

Yelp
Yummy breakfast, fast service, nice view of the harbor. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The server was polite and professional.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Kats seafood linguine was very good! The clam chowder is the best we have had on the west coast. My prime rib was very fatty, approximately 30% fat. The taste was very good. Vegetables were very undercooked, raw. Baked potatoe was good Service was excellent!!
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
Had the seafood platter, dinner portion. Can't say I fully enjoyed it. They used panko breading which isnt my preference. But on a Wednesday night place was packed so I guess food must be good.
