Good Hotel Antigua

My husband and I recently stayed at the Good Hotel Antigua to celebrate our anniversary and had amazing experience! Prior to checking in, I was able to reach out to the staff via WhatsApp to purchase a celebration package and to receive local recommendations for our stay. Throughout the stay, all of the staff were hospitable, even going the extra mile and providing me additional good wishes dolls. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The access to the Saul restaurant was a bonus feature as we had breakfast included in our stay. The location is in walking distance of shopping, great local restaurants, and tourist attractions. We highly recommend the Good Hotel Antigua for anyone who is looking for a great stay!

We stayed at the Good Hotel for 3 nights and it was the perfect home base. It's located on a quiet street, just a few blocks from the main action in Antigua. The staff were very friendly. The grounds were beautiful and meticulously kept. The room had a Scandinavian vibe and was very minimal. The only complaint in the room was that the pillows were quite hard for my liking. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel was lovely, beautiful setting and good food! And the fact that this hotel gives back to the local community is perhaps the best part! The good: beautiful hotel. Beautiful interior courtyard. Unbeatable location. Top notch staff and outstanding service. The bonus: Amazing mission contributing to the education of local kids. The rooms: very simple (almost basic) but nicely appointed though exceedingly dark. Because all the windows face the interior courtyard, it is impossible to maintain privacy (people literally walk past your window) while keeping the windows and curtains open to get some ventilation as the curtains are so heavy. The rooms do have fans but they are incredibly loud. The toilets are simple but well-appointed (although the bath towels are weirdly not absorbent). All in all, I would definitely stay here again because of the staff, service, location and charm of the hotel. But for USD300+ a night for the most basic room, the property should really up their game.

Beautiful hotel with a charming courtyard, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. Brenda at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the room we had was really spacious and well furnished with a sparkling clean bathroom (room 24 — I know they’re not all the same layout). ||||Hair dryer and shampoo, conditioner, soap included in the bathroom. A nice offering of teas and filtered water in our room as well upon arrival. ||||Very walkable to everything, too, but far enough away from the central square to be pretty quiet even on weekends.

This hotel have clean rooms, like the location in a quiet street next to a good restaurant. Is too pricey for the things that have to offer. Front desk could smile you but if you are a dog person don’t come to this hotel. I noticed one quiet small dog went inside of the property and they were so mean to this dog kicking him or she out. If they don’t have empathy with this poor furry friends I don’t want to spend a dollar again there. Beware of dog haters pretending something else.

We would love to come back the staff was so kind and thoughtful. Food was amazing! Sparkling clean! I have severe food allergies (celiac disease) staff was knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. The living room was so beautiful and peaceful! Only things could be improved is the bed was firm and the pillows needed a little more fluff.

I had a great experience at Good Hotel. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, with a minimalist but cozy feel. What really stood out was the staff, always friendly and helpful. The hotel’s social mission adds something special: knowing that your stay helps support education makes it feel more than just a place to sleep. The location is also convenient, quiet, safe, and walkable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stay with both comfort and conscience.||

The Good Hotel Antigua was honestly the best hotel I've stayed at to date. The staff were so kind and attentive throughout my stay. Everyone greeted you with a smile and wanted to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I never tell hotels when it is my birthday as I am usually out for the whole day but Good Hotel surprised me by decorating my room, giving me a present and leaving a heartwarming message. I also love that the proceeds of your stay goes towards helping children in the local community. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is in the old town and within walking distance to many restaurants and museums but still quiet at night.
