We go out of our way to frequent this place every time we come up on vacation. The selection is excellent, the sandwiches are top notch, and the local offerings are great. Awesome spot, wish more places like this existed.

Google
So many options as far as food, snacks, drinks, and huge alcohol section

Best sandwiches around. Had the roast beef "Beast" special, and it was amazing! Hope that becomes a regular.

Good Life Market has become our favorite local spot. Since moving to the area in December 2020, we’ve appreciated their thoughtful pandemic policies and now visit several times a week. Their catering services have been perfect for brunches, lunches, and special occasions, always accommodating our needs with care. It’s the ideal place for specialty items and unique finds. If you haven’t been to Good Life Market yet, you’re missing out!

Google
We used to love this place before the pre-made sandwich business. Now there is usually nothing for us, and you know feta cheese is gross and does not belong on everything. So we dont visit like we used too cause we can't get anything to order. Kindred Farms, right up the road in Casco has AWESOME sandwhiches, all made to order. We've shifted there.

The Ruebens are always on point. You have to try the raspberry pie, it's the best I've ever had!

Very nice shop. The younger employees act like they’ve never seen a person of color before so they speak really uncomfortably. Its so awkward and funny. Cool shop though.

This store had vegan marshmallows! We stopped at Walmart, Hanford and Shaws, no luck but this little store got them and totally saved the day!

Yelp
A market that has a great selection but is super expensive!!! I wanted a small broccoli raisin salad - maybe 4 - 6 oz but it was close to $10. I was hangry so I got a Ruben and a fancy iced tea. Sandwich was very tasty, and definitely sated my appetite. Likely a great place for the out-of-state tourists that are heading up 302, or the summer people with houses on Sebago Lake, but for me, the place is too expensive for many of the items offered.

Yelp
Service to the customers. Assistance in finding product. Assistance in physically reaching a product. Knowledge about your products answering questions when someone's looking for a specific product.. None of that was offered, and when asked if I could inquire represented with the high school student who was just there unpacking stuff when I needed someone knowledgeable about the store. Apparently they don't need customers and good for them if they don't because they just lost a potential one.

Yelp
Great salad, sandwiches and sweets for dessert. The chips were delicious. The bonus was a hot tip on where to have a picnic in the area. Great views!

Cassidy C.

Yelp
I just moved to the area from Freeport, ME and wanted to try it out. Very nice selection of prepared food and wine. I asked to order a breakfast sandwich and the woman explained they just place them in the heat box as they're made which is fine. I l felt really embarrassed when one of the other women working was frustrated with me for asking and said "you can't order one unless it's gluten free. They come out as they're made". There was a gentleman working who could tell I was embarrassed and he asked what kind of sandwich I was looking for. I appreciated him asking. Felt very embarrassed and walked out with my tail between my legs, I don't see myself going back.

Yelp
It had been a while since I stopped by The Good Life Market for lunch. Disappointment greeted me as the Market no longer makes sandwiches to order. All sandwiches are pre-prepared. The pre-prepared sandwich I chose (Roast Beef) was okay. It would have been much better freshly prepared. The Market offers outdoor seating on its porch, at picnic table under cover, and they also have Adirondack chair seating. It is a wonderful market, and I hope they go back to making sandwiches to order.

Cricket P.

Yelp
I absolutely love the food here, I have tried the sandwiches, pasta salads and always grab a piece of that homemade fudge at checkout. Great service and vibe!

Anthony A.

Yelp
This place is really taken for granted but I always buy #5 Hazelnut whole bean. The quality of their coffee is really remarkable; I must special order #5 Hazelnut Whole bean but it's great. They always have for me by Thursday am they roast and pack on Wednesday. Excellent service and the food inside is really fresh.

Yelp
A stop by this busy corner shop will offer fresh made deli sandwiches, grab n go meals, freshly baked goods,, as well as a surprising collection of very unique wines, beers, and grocery items! This one is a MUST TRY - Unique and yummy!

Geoff T.

Yelp
good things for a good deal more. arrogant approach to retail in abundance here. fantastic selections, clunky checkout experience. they could fix this but they don't really seem to care or lookup from the cash box. everything is greatly overpriced, but once again when people will pay what ever they slap on for a price why not! can't wait until there's some healthy competition to make them honest and nicer to the public. hope they pay their workers well. they are definitely raking it in.

Virginia B.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the wonderfully curated selection of products, produce and house made breakfast sandwiches and pies. Thank you!

Barbara C.

Yelp
Great selection of good food. Hot & cold drinks Helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Always a good stop here.

Matthew S.

Yelp
Who makes the pesto Pasta?! Who is it!? Delicious. Everyone always so nice in there any time I've been. Always nice craftsmanship in the store, neat, organized and warm. Keep going!

Gale P.

Yelp
Food always fresh and tasty, good variety and value. Hot food to take home is excellent as well.

Donna L.

Yelp
Incredible food, service and atmosphere! The store is filled with quality items. We absolutely love the wine selection.

Jenna R.

Yelp
Best selection of local foods, beer, wine, produce, cheese. They also make really amazing breakfast sandwiches, and to go pasta salads. Definitely recommend this place on the way to Sebago !

Paul B.

Yelp
Apparently Yelp thinks that I have recently been to the "Good Life Market". Perhaps I was. I don't recall. I don't even know where it is. Anyway, Yelp asked me to review this place, wherever (and whatever) it is. This is my first Yelp post. Possibly my last?

Jack P.

Yelp
Unique and tasty sandwiches. Plenty of good sides too. They have a great wine selection too.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
I am very #blessed to live very close to this market. They ALWAYS have what I need, which is impressive for a small market that is 50% beer and booze* *most of what I buy is beer and booze The sandwiches are SO good, I love their coffee and all the little snacks. They have locally sourced produce and meats and just quality snack items all over. It's a great place to take visitors to grab some snacks and drinks. The ONNLLLY thing I wish was that they had extended hours in the summers or weekends.

Marian S.

Yelp
The food is outstanding, sandwiches and salads extraordinary and creative, great pies, and the wine selection is fabulous. Simply love this place for so many reasons!

Melissa B.

Yelp
I used to really like The Good Life Market. Not so much now because of their grab n go set up. Sandwiches do not taste as fresh, you can't get them prepared how you'd prefer them. It used to be much better. I wouldn't recommend it.

Julie P.

Yelp
Cute little market, you can't order it's a walk in and grab go type deal but the food is fantastic and tastes very fresh! And great staff always positive:)

Sarah R.

Yelp
Love this place! Great sandwiches, nice selection of specialty foods and beer. Highly recommend.

Maegan C.

Yelp
Great sandwiches, wide selection of products, and healthy options. Slightly expensive for what you get

Taylor P.

Yelp
They make some great sandwiches and salads. Easily one of the best sandwich places in the area. If you are in the area try and stop in. They also sell some unique items like edible cookie dough from the Cookie Dough Cafe

Charles S.

Yelp
I miss being able to order sandwiches. The grab and go only system is fine if you aren't allergic to anything

Anastasia L.

Yelp
I've been coming here every summer for YEARS and it's been amazingly consistent. I think it's a bit pricey and I don't hand out 5 stars easily, but I'd give this 4.5 if I could. In addition to sandwiches and other lunch items (always yummy!) they sell pies and other baked goods baked on site or locally, and they have a nice selection of beer, wine, etc, AND a decent selection of grocery items including produce and a GF section... Pick up a baguette, some pâté and cheese, some fruit and a bottle of wine- voila, a picnic!

Lauren L.

Yelp
Small gourmet market providing yummy sandwiches and a variety of organic and specialty items- their beer, wine and liquor section is the best around ( fyi)

Stephen H.

Yelp
Really great selection, just a bit pricey. If you need a nice bottle of wine they will have it!

X C.

Yelp
Oh, and I forgot. They did a fabulous job with food for our wedding in 2008 (~40 people).

Angelina L.

Yelp
I have always loved the good life. My go to for a delicious sandwich in the Windham area. My favorite is the summer in italy grilled. My bf goes for the good life club. We crave these sandwiches!! Local breads, always fresh ingredients. Definitely check this spot out

Gwen B.

Yelp
Creative high quality sandwiches, salads, soups, dinner entrees and more. Not to mention weekly sandwich specials as well as Good Life's own Swift River Roasters coffee where you can buy specialty coffee drinks, drip coffee and bagged coffee for your own home that's freshly roasted. Don't be afraid to look around the store for many local, organic products ranging from fresh produce, cheeses, poultry and meats and more! Wide variety of wines and liquors that are hard to find other places.

Kristina S.

Yelp
Everything here is so good. Many in the area make the morning pilgrimage for the breakfast sandwiches. For quite some time I did the classic, though last year switched to the breakfast club (saw this on the specials board once) and now get it every time - bacon, egg, cheddar, tomato, garlic mayo (fab, and bonus makes your breath smell great when combined with morning coffee), and lettuce - breakfast perfection. Their chicken, rice, cashew salad is excellent (as is their regular chicken salad, which I only got to try after I accidentally ordered a tub of it instead of the chicken/rice), as is their pesto pasta salad with peas. Lunch sandwiches have never disappointed - most recently tried the D'Attolico's - a spruced up tomato/mozz/pesto, which was delish. And the pies!! Mixed berry is the crowd favorite though I love their peach pecan. Pretty deep beer and wine selection too, and a small area with canned foods, sauces, dips, etc for all of your cooking needs. Service occasionally gets backed up and overwhelmed in busy times due to the tsunami of morning customers, but usually they do a nice and courteous job. Bummer during my last visit was that they ran out of iced coffee and cold brew.

Kat K.

Yelp
I always stop here when I am visiting the Sebago Lake area. Awesome sandwiches!! Due to COVID they currently have the sandwiches pre-made which makes it easier to grab and go. I hope they go back to making sandwiches to order so there is an option to customize.

Yelp
I almost never give a negative review. Having said that, my husband and I have been stopping in to The Good Life Market for years to grab sandwiches on our trips to the lakes region. The sandwiches have always been top notch. We traveled to Sebago Lake Park and stopped in for a couple sandwiches to enjoy at the park. I ordered the " Better BLT" as I have in the past and my husband ordered the chicken salad wrap, both came with blue cheese. Yay us right? Not so much. We get to the park and start to eat our sandwiches and I swear to God we both said to each other at the same time., " There is way too much blue cheese". Neither one of us enjoyed our sandwich and i could scrape some of the blue cheese off my sandwich. My husbands was mixed in the chicken salad. When ordering a chicken salad with blue cheese, one would think there would be a hint of blue cheese, not a blue cheese sandwich with a hint of chicken.

Kris T.

Yelp
As far as I'm concerned, this place is the saving grace of the region, food wise. Though the prices are sometimes steep (I could never afford to grocery shop here, for example), the sandwiches, soups, sides and coffee are all superb. Really, the best I've found in Maine. I rave a lot about The Baker's Bench in Westbrook. Nowhere else can you get a large sandwich on homemade bread for $6.25. And they will always be high on my list, when I want something simple and hearty. But The Good Life offers far more selection, a gourmet flourish and a better dining experience, should you choose to eat your food here. The staff are also friendly and energetic, which is always a huge plus. For what it's worth, the Club sandwich may be the last thing you ever order here (it's really fantastic), so, if you want to try a few things on the menu, go for them first. And I have never gone wrong ordering their soup. If I could afford it, and lived closer, I would eat here every day of my life.

Danielle H.

Yelp
no price tags on anything. kinda dumb in my opinion you can get god fruit and stuff there though just not a go to

John T.

Yelp
Awesome customer service with outstanding product selection. These folks are my "go to" for gift baskets!! Highly recommend!

Kim N.

Yelp
Wow! It's been a hot minute since I have written a review. This awesome business seems to be a "Good" start again. I have so many nice things to say about The Good life Market. The food is really good with some different delicious twists on the sandwiches. The better BLT is sooo good! You won't be disappointed. Moving on here, this is a great store too. You can buy items, from a great cheese selection, local veggies, adult beverages, a great selection of local meat and so much more. I honestly only ever heard about the sandwiches. If you're ever in Raymond, Maine headed to any of the local lakes you should stop It's on the corner of 302 and 85. You might want to call ahead for Covid policy.

Yelp
For many years, living in the Lakes Region, there wasn't anywhere you could go to buy or consume healthy food on premise. Thankfully, The Good Life Market became a breath of fresh air. They offer up wonderful soups, salads and sandwiches, In addition their market is essential and outstanding; albeit on the pricey side yet healthy food is not inexpensive. They also roast their own coffee beans and their roasts are excellent. Give them a try if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.

Thomas P.

Yelp
Best Reuben ive ever had. Awesome selection of beer and other groceries. Would love to try other things on their menu.

Jenn L.

Yelp
Good pre-made sandwiches, would prefer to come back when made to order is available. Good selection of chips and other add-ons. Looked like there were lots of wine options and fresh produce but that wasn't on my list during my visit. Easy to get in and out at the lights too!

Patricia B.

Yelp
Outstanding selection, service, and quality. The ready made pies, sandwiches, and entrees are scrumptious. During the lock down the Good Life folks delivered groceries to our home. ENJOY!!

Shanan G.

Yelp
I'm always on the search for a good salad. And I mean one that's full of all kinds of fresh veggies, nuts, seeds, proteins, greens.. not just a poorly tossed together garden salad with watery dressing that costs $12.00.. and I have found my place! We found this place on yelp and when we pulled up, we could already tell it was where we wanted to be. It was busy and people were enjoying delicious looking food on all the outdoor seating. We walked in and there was quite a lot of people standing around waiting for food so we decided to check out the rest of the store first. They have a great selection of beer/ wine, cheeses and dips, fresh veggies and tons of things that make you say "oooh I bet that's so good!" We finally made our way up front to order and maybe they have small menus somewhere, (I couldn't find any) but it was a little hard to stand in a sea of people and try to decide what we wanted off the big menu board. We finally settled on the Good Life Club and the Hometown Chef salad to split since everything we saw leaving was huge! I think regulars kind of know where to look for things because after we ordered I saw a little piece of paper with that week's specials and I totally would have gone with the chicken taco salad. Our food came out fast and the employees were so friendly and patient with me. Two big pluses for me. We found a sunny picnic table outside and enjoyed every single bite of our food. I'm not a huge mayo person, but their garlic mayo was to die for and their ranch was my kind of ranch- thick and tangy. The salad had everything I could have wanted and more. I love how they chop everything nice and small so you get different but balanced bites every time. I don't come to this area often, but I would definitely go out of my way to come back here. I'm so jealous we don't have anything even slightly like it in my area. OH! And both the salad and sandwich were less than $10 a piece which is almost unheard of anymore for the quality of food that they're serving up at The Good Life.

Allan G.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't been here before. Had a corned beef sandwich.. Awesome! Bring some extra cash... Cold have spent all day shopping. A foodies paradise.

R M.

Yelp
Great service, great beer selection, yummy blueberry pie! I will definitely be returning.

Jacob L.

Yelp
I love stopping here on my way to work to grab breakfast and usually lunch to go as well. Everyone here is super friendly and even though it can get busy I never seem to have to wait much at all. I'd definitely say the food is very good but there are a couple of other delis that I personally like better in the greater Portland area, thus the four stars. Around this area, this is definitely my favorite place to get food and generally come by at least once a week. I personally recommend their breakfast sandwiches that come on awesome homemade bread as well as the pastries which come out hot at 7am

Kurt B.

Yelp
Boars head deli meat for the win!!! The good life club with garlic mayo is probably my favorite!!! The blue moon chicken salad wrap is a close second if your a fan of blue cheese you will love it!!! The hometown chef salad is really good and loaded with meat and veggies!! They also do breakfast sandwiches and wraps!! I'd recommend calling ahead especially around lunch time or in the summer months and the place is packed!!! Also have good groceries and a huge selection of cheese!!! Great beer, liquor and wine selection!! Lots of local finds here!

Kamesha P.

Yelp
Best sandwiches in town always so yummy and the service is always great , all the works acknowledged you when you walk in and ask you if you need help !

Craig M.

Yelp
Simply an excellent place to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Their breakfast sandwich is versatile, so tasty and very well priced (under $5), and their coffee options are great. When I come here for a sandwich I usually buy a prepared food item (or three) from the deli, such as Chicken Pie, Beetroot Salad, Mac 'n' Cheese, etc, which is always delicious. If it's a lunch sandwich I'm after, it's a "choices, choices, choices" decision between The Godmother (see picture of Shrimp panini - heavenly), Horsin' Around, or the Classic Reuben. They pile the ingredients into their sandwiches and you can taste each and every one perfectly! The cold sandwiches are just as good as the hot ones, too. The grocery store provides a convenient means to accessing local and organic foods, without the trip to Portland, even boasting a broad and unique selection of top-shelf Scotches, whiskeys, cigars, fine wines, beer and liquor. Everything in this store is well worth the visit and staff are friendly and polite - the only reason I leave this review with 1 star shy of 5 is due to the customer service of one individual. She may be the owner, or tenured staff member as she's always there, but has little personality and seemingly afraid to crack a smile at customers. This shouldn't overshadow the quality of The Good Life Market, though, because they're a real-deal local business that must be checked out!
