We LOVED our stay at Good Medicine Lodge. It was the perfect place to stay for a trip to Glacier National Park. It is about 40 minutes from the West entrance. The rooms are nice and feel very cozy; It really feels like home away from home. There is a nice outside area as well with a hot tub. You should definitely sign up for breakfast the night before if you are able! I loved the sourdough, huckleberry jam, and yogurt bowls that came with breakfast as well. They also have snacks and goodies for you to take with you during the day. I would definitely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Good Medicine!! Shayla is super friendly and she is an absolutely amazing baker!! Delicious breakfast every morning - you sign up for a breakfast time (8:30am/9am/9:30am) the night before so everyone's food is fresh and hot. Every afternoon, there was an incredible baked good waiting fro us to devour. Also a lot of great snacks and things like bug/bear spray to borrow. We enjoyed the hot tub and the Bonsai Brewery next door too! ||Very close to the ski village and we spent one day of our trip there --- took the ski lift to the top of Big Mountain and hiked down the Danny On trail (which was covered in wildflowers and huckleberries). Great stay!!

Google
The perfect reset after a week of hiking in Glacier. Clean rooms, yummy nutritious food, generous snacks and amenities and an overall cozy, relaxing feel. The staff were super friendly and professional. We also easily walked around Whitefish. Highly recommend!

Google
I can't rave enough about Good Medicine Lodge. It really lives up to its name. The space was rustic and charming, and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Prior to my arrival, the folks at the lodge were very helpful with any questions and requests that I had. The hot tub, fire pit, and availability of snacks to tide me over in between meals were all excellent touches. My absolute favorite part though was the daily morning breakfasts, made fresh in-house for me every morning. I honestly felt like I was at home in a beautiful area. Location was great for Whitefish - about a 10-15 minute walk into downtown and very easy access to the beautiful walking trails near Whitefish Lake.

Google
A friendly, cozy, quaint and convenient place to stay when in Whitefish, MT. The innkeeper and her breakfast assistant were super friendly and accommodating. We liked the proximity to downtown Whitefish (1 mile...easy to walk or drive), and we enjoyed our morning pre-breakfast walks to the city beach on the lake while we were staying there. The restaurant across the street and the brewery next door were both happening spots, and so it was nice to be able to walk to each. We used the outdoor hot tub, and it was clean and easy to use. Many snacks to grab and information about surrounding activities were available. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Google
We stayed for 3 nights and it was hands down the best lodge on our roadtrip. The staff is wonderful, helpful and lovely. The lodge is super clean and everything comfy and nice. So much thought has been put into making your stay convenient and comfortable. It's a lovely place to relax after a fun filled day in the park or surrounding areas with areas to get to know your fellow travelers. Worth every penny.

We had such a great time at the Good Medicine Lodge. The staff, particularly Shayla, was so helpful, pleasant, communicative, positive, and informative. We asked her for recommendations on guides, hikes, restaurants, beer spray, and more. She was always well-informed and a pleasure.||The breakfasts and afternoon treats were all delicious - we looked forward to what each day would bring.||The location is fantastic. Easy access to town without being in town. And adjacent to a brewery? what more could we ask for?||Lastly, the provisions at the inn were super thoughtful and generous. From providing complimentary snacks and drinks to having a washing machine & dryer (and providing the quarters for them!!!) was a super nice touch.||Overall, we felt very well taken care of and will definitely recommend the lodge to our friends.||Thanks for making our stay so fun & pleasurable.

Google
Favorite things about Good Medicine Lodge: Shayla, the innkeeper, goes out of her way to make great breakfasts and provide suggestions to make sure you have a fun day planned. (hike Danny On, rent e-bikes from Montana e-bikes) The breakfasts are downright gourmet: watermelon with fresh mint juice, kale frittata, fruit topped with coconut, homemade bread with huckleberry jam. All the snacks and drinks you could possibly want to take on a day trip or have at the end of a long day of activities. Free laundry machines The rooms are quite nice too!

Yelp
Sara and Ryan and the team are amazing and friendly. They are very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. they have a hot tub in the back so pack a swimsuit. It is near the ski lodge so nice to go for hikes. The food here for breakfast and happy hour you guys it's delicious! Cookies change daily! The coffee and cookies are heavenly. They have fresh lavender plants up front. If you are debating between a marriot property and here, please stay here for the experience and the price is comparable. Rooms are clean and sufficient space. There is a game room and library so after dinner you can play games or watch tv (quietly). My husband and I enjoyed playing nightly rounds of uno. I recommend anyone wanting to go visit glacier park stay here for the experience! Thanks again!

Yelp
This review is long overdue! My husband and I stayed here earlier this year and the visit was fabulous. The lodge was exactly what we were looking for: cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hosts are very down to earth, friendly, and just a lot of fun to chat with. Their food is amazing. I'm usually one that likes to explore a new area for breakfast but I find it hard to believe that you'd be able to top any meal they provide. Everything is made from scratch. The evening before you select from a few primary options but there is more than you can eat in two meals with the indulgent sides. Every single thing we tried was on point. They also had an appetizer and refreshment later in the day as the perfect way to wrap up skiing or kick-off your evening. Thanks for a great time! We've already recommended you to others and plan to be back in the future. Note: The lodge is in town with easy access to the ski hill. It's a good location for what we needed but not a remote experience if that's what you're hoping for.

Yelp
Our stay here was fantastic. I wish we had been able to stay more nights. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was incredible. The cookies, the breakfast made to order, the apps and drinks were all awesome. The coffee!!! -So good. Using the hot tub in the evening was nice. The bed was so comfortable it was the best sleep I had gotten on our entire trip. It was also great to be able to do our laundry for free while we were there. They also have a great selection of local gifts at much better prices than the local gift stores downtown.

Yelp
The Good Medicine Lodge is a great place to stay! They are right in Whitefish, Montana and just a few minutes from the west side of Glacier National Park! We absolutely loved it! From our cozy room that looked out to the mountains in the mornings and the comfy bed, to all the great amenities they offer. No detail was forgotten. They remembered everything! Ryan and Sarah served the best breakfasts every morning! And their staff were so friendly and helpful! Ryan's homemade sourdough bread and fresh roasted coffees were amazing! They made us feel like family! We will definitely be back!

Beckie M.

Yelp
We didn't stay here but did participate in the coffee flight and what an amazing experience! The coffee was not only delicious but all the information Ryan provided about roasting, beans, flavor profiles was fascinating. You can tell he is absolutely passionate about coffee. And Sara was delightful and so welcoming. It's about an hour for the experience and you do not need to stay here to enjoy this really unique activity. Do not turn down the sourdough donuts during the tasting. Omg delicious!
google avatar

Jay D.

Yelp
This really feels like home away from home!! Everyone is super nice and polite so respectful. They went out of there way to make me breakfast when I forgot to put in my order the night before. I will definitely be back and recommend for everyone to visit!

Yelp
Short form: Outstanding! Long form: We arrived early in the morning, way before check in time. We were warmly greeted by Ryan the owner. He was warm and lovely. He made sure we get coffee and a cake so we can go up skiing as soon as possible. Throughout our stay that was the main motive - Ryan and Sara doing their best to make sure you have the best vacation ever! It's the small things that matter - the coffee corner, the small hand made appetizers in the afternoon. The ice cold drinking water in your room. Add to that a lodge that is beautifully designed, the wood fire place, amazing breakfast, snow bus that picks you from the lodge entrance, great conversations with other guests. It was a perfect vacation. We're already checking dates for our next visit. Thank you Ryan & Sara!

Ashleigh ..

Yelp
One of my favorite stays yet! My husband and I stayed at Good Medicine for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. Sara and Ryan have created a special place, full of thoughtful details. From the daily cocktail hour and homemade breakfast to cozy decor - it feels like Grandmas house (in the best way)! It will soon be under new ownership. I hope they don't change a thing!

Hayley C.

Yelp
Our stay at the lodge was amazing. The owners are so kind and truly want nothing more than for you to have the best visit. They had tons of local recommendations for us for eateries and activities. The food was terrific and the rest of the staff were so nice and accommodating. The lodge itself is so beautiful and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. Can't wait to go back soon!

Charles W.

Yelp
Great staff. Ryan, Sara and the rest of the crew were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very welcoming. Stayed two nights with another couple. Complementary breakfasts were terrific! We appreciated the happy hour cookies and appetizers, the hot tub, and the whole vibe. Location is great. We didn't need a rental car, as it was a close walk to the lake, the town, and other restaurants (although if you're visiting Glacier NP, you'll need a car to get there). Definitely recommend!

Michael C.

Yelp
Hands down the best stay in a B&B/Lodge I've had. It was beautiful (setting/building), clean, and the service (when needed, breakfast) was excellent. You will meet the owners Ryan and Sara. Their friendliness and attentiveness is reflected in the staff. We wanted for nothing. They service breakfast - a rotating set of choices - We had something different each day and it was very good.

Sheran F.

Yelp
What a lovely lodge. This lodge is very clean, quaint, and charming. The owners make sure to greet you and chat with you. The room was great; it was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, they thought of everything you might want/need and had it laid out and waiting for you. The lodge is so close to town but also feels private. But OMG the homemade cookies!!!!! There is a beverage bar for you to get coffee/water/tea throughout the day. They have jars of cookies there for you to snag for a snack/treat. The chocolate chip cookies were literally the best cookies my husband and I have ever had. I am drooling right now just thinking about them. They were a wonderful added element to our stay.

Connor S.

Yelp
A great place to relax with awesome food and quality comfortable amenities! Talk with Ryan about his coffee roasting if you're interested in learning a bunch :-).

Alex P.

Yelp
This bed and breakfast was the most fantastic lodging experience I have ever had! The attention to detail is superb and the both, Sarah and Ryan, the hosts, are phenomenal! They are so accommodating, have the greatest breakfasts, and the BEST cookies and sourdough bread around! It was fun to come in every afternoon to check out the new cookie flavor of the day and it never disappointed. Also, every afternoon, they offered snacks and drinks that we usually ate in the beautiful backyard garden. I absolutely loved my stay here, and cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
This was our second time back, and first under the new owners. Good Medicine continues to remain the BEST PLACE to stay in Whitefish. Seriously, there is no where better and you will not regret it. It's like staying at a luxury hotel but with the personal perks of a B&B. We stayed in the Huckleberry Suite and it was big and beautiful with a stunning bathroom with jacuzzi tub and personal fire place. My father-in-law was in a different room though, and it was beautiful, too. They start the day with an outstanding breakfast. There's always a sweet and savory option, fresh sourdough bread that's homemade, yogurt, juices and home roasted coffee. I don't think coffee sommelier is a real thing, but if it was, the co-owner Ryan would be one. It's his passion and you can tell with the superior quality of the coffee. My husband did a coffee tasting while he was there, and said it was one of the most unique experiences of his life. In the afternoons, after a day of skiing at the mountain which is 10 MINS AWAY (NO LINES, NO SEARCH FOR PARKING), they offer a happy hour with wine and appetizers, and always bring pleasant conversation by the fire if you want to chat. There's also the option to request a beautiful charcuterie board. If you're not full from the snacks, they also put out fresh baked cookies that are spectacular and have hot cocoa and coffee all day. If hot tubs are your thing, there's a beautiful one out back. The lodge is 2 min from downtown Whitefish for some amazing local eats and shopping, across the street is a fabulous mexican spot, and down the road are also local spots for spa treatments, sleigh rides, dog sledding, snow mobiles and more, if you need a ski break. If coming in the summer, it's 25min from Glacier and a much easier stay than on site with more options to dine and relax and 1 min from Whitefish Lake. Avoid the big hotels and chains and stay here, you will not regret it! Sara and Ryan are the best!!

Mikey H.

Yelp
Good Medicine Lodge is the best basecamp for your next Glacier/Whitefish adventure. Welcomed in with a nice glass of wine and a cookie, comfortable beds, amazing decorations, and Ryan and Sarah are tops! Breakfast is wonderful with some of the best coffee your going to find in Montana, Ryan roasts it himself. The lodge will even lend you a couple cans of bear spray so you don't end up being dinner on one of your hikes! But wait there's more! Killer Mexican restaurant across the street with knock out margaritas, legit tacos, and great chips/salsa. Next door is a great brewery so you have everything within stumbling distance to your room. Can't wait to go back for ski season! Thanks Ryan and Sarah for a great stay!

Treehouse M.

Yelp
The Good Medicine Lodge is one of the most amazing places we've stayed during our trips and vacations. Sara and Ryan are awesome hosts. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the lodge comforting and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again if we pass through this way and will be sure to tell our family and friends about the lodge. Thank you for the beautiful stay and great hospitality.

Jennifer K.

Yelp
We recently stayed at Good Medicine Lodge with a group of 8. We could not have been more impressed from the moment of check in. We felt like everything had been thought of down to the last detail. The lodge is very comfortable and the hosts are wonderful. The food and coffee were incredible every day as well as the cookies and afternoon appetizers. We also sat in the spa one afternoon and that was a lot of fun. It is walking distance to downtown and right next to a brewery and across the street from a great Mexican restaurant. I can't think of a better lodging experience I have ever had while traveling!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!

JR L.

Yelp
Great stay at Good Medicine Lodge. Sara and Ryan were extraordinary hosts and were very accommodating. Our original reservation had to be postponed twice because of Covid, so we were happy to finally get to stay here. The lodge is beauiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommend and we would absolutely stay here when we next return to the area. Very convenient to downtown and to West Glacier/ GNP.

Yelp
Second time back to the Good Medicine Lodge! Woody and Betsy Cox are the most gracious hosts and owners. The rooms are amazing, as is the breakfast and snacks they provide. Oh, and they have happy hour from 5-7pm. it is bittersweet to learn they are selling the operation this year- but, one can appreciate the decision to retire and relax! I hope the next owners don't change a thing - they will have big shoes to fill. :)

Yelp
EXCELLENT! Can't wait to go back and stay at this amazing Inn again. The food is beyond incredible, the room is stocked with all the best local creations, the Inn has restful nooks around every corner, and the staff is everything you need and more to guide you through a restful stay. Love everything about the stay and we hope to visit again!

Alex P.

Yelp
Wow! We are so impressed by the love and hard work that goes into making this place so awesome. It is the perfect and cozy home away from home to spend your vacation and also in the best location. We Loved sipping Ryan's delicious home roasted coffee by the wood stove and enjoyed waking up to yummy homemade breakfasts better than you can find in any restaurant in town :) Ryan and Sarah are so welcoming and take time to help you have the best trip from their knowledge of the town and surrounding area. We will be back soon :)

Mary Kay M.

Yelp
If you go to Whitefish, look no further for a place to stay. This place is a gem. Ryan and Sarah make you feel so welcome the minute you come through the door. The breakfast's are amazing, all from scratch. There is tea, hot chocolate and coffee available anytime. Fresh baked cookies are placed out all day long. The rooms are immaculate and the bedding is heavenly!!! Thanks again Good Medicine Lodge for a wonderful experience.

MonkeyButt M.

Yelp
We stayed here on Oct 9 and had the best sleep of our entire vacation! The owners and employees were all friendly and gracious. The Lodge itself is warm and welcoming, with plenty of spaces to maintain distance (unfortunately required in these times.) The outside patio has a fire pit and the owners offered to bring out appetizers. They have delicious cookies (some gluten-free) and a variety of beverages always available. The bedroom was cozy and had an AMAZINGLY comfortable mattress. There are thoughtful touches everywhere - locally-owned bath products, water carafes and glasses, comfy robes, fluffy bedding. Our experience was so positive that we'll definitely be back to Good Medicine!

Yelp
Loved our stay here! Cozy, tastefully decorated, spacious. Nice backyard with hot tub and sitting areas. Landscape and garden are amazing. Lots of beautiful flowers. Variety of breakfast choices and afternoon wine and snack offered. We stayed in room 6 ( Glacier) with king size bed. Very comfortable bed, nice linens. Great view from the balcony. Attention to details in everything and very hospitable owners.

Yelp
If your looking for a home away from home experience, this is the place for you. Nestled in a perfect location, Good Medicine Lodge is the perfect stop in Whitefish Montana. Sarah and Ryan and their staff have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming experience for their guests. Gourmet breakfasts are presented every morning, fresh baked cookies are always available to munch on throughout the day, afternoon snacks, and a coffee/hot chocolate bar are always available. The rooms are rustic decor but spotlessly clean and very well appointed with very comfortable beds, plenty of towels and artesian soaps. Each room has a balcony or outdoor sitting space. The courtyard is beautiful and lush with seasonal greenery (we were there in August) and multiple seating options to socialize, read, play games, enjoy the hot tub or just relax. Sarah and Ryan are very knowledgeable about the area and are always available to make suggestions about food, entertainment, recreation, hiking or pretty much whatever you may need. We would absolutely recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast for your stay in Whitefish! We feel like we've made friends here and definitely plan to return!

Clare F.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay at good medicine! Sara and Ryan were incredible hosts that are very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations of activities and restaurants to visit. The breakfast was definitely a highlight with Ryan's homemade sourdough and home roasted coffee(!!) We also loved jumping in the hottub after a long day of hiking at glacier National park and enjoying the complimentary happy hour drink and snack. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone we know! Thanks again Sara and Ryan!

Starla G.

Yelp
My husband, me and my mom came here to explore whitefish and Glacier National park. The lodge is perfectly located a mile or two away from downtown. There are a few really good places to eat walking distance away for lunch and dinner. The breakfast and cookie treats served here were amazing! Staff super friendly and helpful. Getting to the park was just a short drive away. We enjoyed our suite, perfectly sized for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the back yard as if it were our own one night and got take out and a bottle of wine and ate at the tables in the yard. The jacuzzi was also nice after a long day of hiking. Would highly recommend and we will be back here again!

Kristen K.

Yelp
Staying at the Good Medicine Lodge was one of the best decisions we made on our honeymoon in Montana! We originally booked a two-night stay there and were blown away by the hospitality of Sara and Ryan, the owners, and by the quality of the accommodations. In fact, we were so impressed that we ended up coming back for another three nights a few days later when our backpacking plans got snowed out. Amazing accommodations include: daily appetizers, a delicious breakfast (includes gluten-free options!), irresistible cookies baked fresh daily, a relaxing hot tub, a washing and drying machine with detergent provided, and very clean and spacious rooms. However, what really sold us was the hospitality of Ryan and Sara. They made our stay feel like home, and they had lots of great suggestions for things to do and places to visit. We cannot wait to be back soon!

Scot A.

Yelp
Return visitors and will keep coming back. Comfy, clean rooms and a great staff led by Ryan and Sarah who just "get it." Friendly, accommodating and keenly aware of what hospitality means, they make the difference. Will keep returning and would highly recommend

Yelp
Still the best B&B in the Kalispell/Whitefish area bar none! Comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms -- all thematic. Lots of privacy if you want it. But Plenty of different places in- and out-door to relax, read a book, watch a movie, soak in the hot tub, or chat. The entire place is decorated impeccably; just makes you feel at home -- in the home you wish you had -- right away. It's just far enough (less than a mile) from downtown Whitefish to be out of the busy area of town. But within easy reach. Hosts are the personable sort of folk you want running a B&B. A pleasure to chat with. A helpful, pleasant serving and cleaning staff. Breakfasts are fantastic -- seems like always something new. Three choices everyday. Gluten free options available. Good place to start a tradition of visiting each year.

Yelp
What is your expectation for a suit at $347 a night? Well, the experience we received at this price was the following: We couldn't take a shower because there was no water pressure. You also couldn't manage the water temperature once it was redirected to the top shower head. The jet tub was also slippery which meant you had to hold on to the handicap rail as you showered with the sprinkle of water. The towels also seemed old or cheap in quality. The sweet is also located next to their laundry room which had an old washing machine running after 10:30 pm which you can hear through its complete wash. This created a bad night sleep giving me only 4 hours sleep which was tough on the drive the following morning as I drove my family back to Washington. When we brought this plumbing issue to the owner she said they were aware of the problem. The breakfast was also insulting as I was given a crepe with missing whip cream and was told they had ran out. We passed on their breakfast the second day and had a tasty breakfast downtown. The way the room is also set up with it's bulky armoire it makes it difficult to watch TV from bed. This bed and breakfast is also located away from downtown which meant you had to drive there. Overall this stay was bad medicine. Since I couldn't cancel the second night, my todal cost for two nights was $700.

Yelp
My wife and I had a fantastic stay here. After several long days out hiking on the trails of Glacier, this is a great place to end up. It's about 15 minutes from West Glacier but that's enough to get you away from the summer crowds and there are plenty of nice dining options in downtown Whitefish. Betsy, Woody and Jason were are all excellent hosts. Breakfasts were excellent and hearty - perfect way to fill up before hitting the trails. Don't hesitate to ask these guys for advice getting around Glacier. Hint: There's always several cookie jars full of home made cookies on the counter when you walk in. Grab a couple hundred of these things for your day hike. Now, maybe I get hungry after several hours of hiking, but I'd swear these are some the best cookies on the planet!

Logan B.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Great food and very personable staff! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Yelp
The lodge was conveniently located. The inn keepers were amazingly warm and friendly people. The room we stayed in had a cozy and good-sized bed, nice and clean full bathroom, and a beautiful view of the backyard and surrounding mountains. The best parts of this lodge were their cookies, breakfast, and daily wine/beer + hors d'oeuvres. I LOVED their lemon sugar cookies. I would have snatched the cookie jar if I could. I'll definitely go back there and eat more cookies! :-)
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful B&b!! Owners are extremely hospitable and everything has an elegant but homey touch to it. Breakfast was delicious! The back porch is an excellent place to have a drink, which they offer in their happy hour from 5-7. I would definitely stay here again and again and recommend it highly.

Yelp
Due to accidentally missing a flight to our next destination, we found ourselves in Montana for an extra night on a recent trip. We weren't sure if we could find anything decent on such short notice, but the Good Medicine Lodge was able to accommodate us. Hearing about our stressful experience at the airport, we were greeted with drinks, cookies, and a warm smile from the owners. It was a short stay as we arrived late and had to leave early, but I found myself sad that we weren't staying longer! Would definitely recommend this place.

Lauri A.

Yelp
One of the very best B&Bs! A prelude to Glacier NP, Woody & Betsy are the very gracious hosts/owners that provide a "home away from home" atmosphere from the moment you enter their beautiful lodge. Breakfast was delicious and their cookbook is a must to buy. We can't wait to return.... They truly deserve nothing less than a ten star rating! Thank you! The Allen's, Olympia, WA
google avatar

Veronica D.

Yelp
A fantastic B&B. Cozy, very tastefully decorated, the atmosphere is comfortable and intimate yet the place is spacious. The gardens are impeccable and so well tended. The hosts are hospitable, warm and pleasure to chat with. Great attention to details is apparent, everything is well thought through; a great quality bed, bedding, etc. laundry is available. Delicious breakfast, which you select out of three choices. Afternoon snacks and wine. Great location.

Yelp
What a great place to stay! Woody and Betsy are the perfect hosts along with their staff Where do I start? The place is immaculate! Very comfortable setting and the rooms are spotless. Betsy has breakfast available for the guests starting at 8am. Since we were always leaving early to hit the trails we missed breakfast but Woody always made sure we had a bowl of cereal available for us . Then there is happy hour every night from 5-7pm with small munchies and beer and wine for the guests. What a nice touch! Jason helps out on Tuesdays and wow.... Jason makes the most incredible Blueberry muffins! All in all Good Medicine Lodge is a fantastic place to stay if visiting the area. It's only 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park and minutes from Downtown Whitefish and Whitefish Lake.

Yelp
This place rocks! Betsy and Woody were fantastic hosts. The room was super clean and comfy. Easy access to town and the ski resort (bus stops right out front for A.M. pick up and P.M. drop off from the resort. The food was GREAT& the hot tub was HOT! We would highly recomend this place to anyone wanting a quick get away from Seattle. A one hour flight into town, or if you are feeling adventours the Amtrak also runs an overnight form Seattle. To say the least we had a negative experience with the train this trip. We are flying home instead. Good Medicine Lodge was WONDERFUL!

Rachael B.

Yelp
Super friendly owner and host. Sierra is so sweet and Woody is a pleasure to talk to. Quaint, adorable rooms, beautiful backyard. I'm in love. Want to move here. You must stay here. You won't be dissapointed!!!!

Dian C.

Yelp
The best B&B I've ever stayed at! Here's why: All you can eat cookies!!!! These cookies are huge and soft and I had to come away with the recipe. They had three different kinds while we were there. All were soft and chewy. Hot tub with outdoor fire. There is nothing better than sitting in a nice hot tub with a glass of wine after a hard day of skiing. Ski room with gloves and boot dryers. Great food and wide selection of breakfast items. The homemade granola was my favorite and now that I have the recipe, I will be making it at home! Happy hour with wine/beer and hors d'œuvres (and of course cookies). Gracious hosts who are always one step ahead of you. I was leaving on a 7am flight, which is before they start serving breakfast, but Woody offered to leave out some of the yummy granola and a container of milk for me. Helpful and excellent suggestions for activities and restaurants. They even sell discounted lift tickets, saving us both money and time. Did I mention the best cookies ever? ANYTIME! I felt so at home here, whether it was curling up on the couch with a good book or talking to Woody about our day on the slopes. The lodge is immaculate and I was always marveling at the little details that the owners had thought of. For example, there was a large thermos of ice water in our rooms that we didn't even know was there! There is a reason why they were rated one of the most romantic inns! This is the best place to stay in the area!

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm a very choosy traveler and rarely do I find a place that greatly exceeds my expectations. The owners, Woody and Betsy, and the consummate hosts. The vibe is warm, inviting, friendly. It's incredibly beautiful and clean. All you can eat incredible cookies. Breakfasts that go above and beyond. Really didn't want to leave!

Yelp
This is where we spent most of our honeymoon in Montana, and we had a great time. We spent six nights here. During the day we would drive about 45 minutes to get Glacier National Park, and it was a fabulous experience. The owners of GML do a great job running this B&B, and I will definitely stay here again on any return trips to Glacier or Montana.

Yelp
I spent only two days at Good Medicine Lodge and would go there again for sure. Very nice accommodations, excellent and healthful breakfasts, and hosts Betsy and Woody and Jason were friendly and helpful. Great cookies too! Loved just sitting in the wonderful leather chairs in the a.m., reading and awaiting a scrumptious breakfast before hitting the road to Glacier, Flathead lake etc.

Yelp
This B&B is the best one that I've ever experienced. The owners, Betsy & Woody Cox not only opened their home, but they opened up to conversations with them. They are such wonderful warm and friendly people. They think of everything to make your stay as luxuriously comforting as possible. It was so clean and smelled good, like a spa, perhaps because of the wooden planked ceilings. The decor is tastefully decorated with Native American/Western, antique items, and Persian carpets on the oak floors. The public spaces of the B&B felt a part of your own space. There is a coffee area with glass jars filled with their homemade cookies, available at all hours of the day! An espresso machine, hot chocolate, variety of teas, are also available to complement your cookie break! This room also holds a bar refrigerator to store your perishables. A sitting/living room with wood fired stove, tall windows, and tall pine tree. A separate breakfast dining room with antiques and local Whitefish handmade pottery dishes. An outdoor patio to sit or dunk in the hot tub and view the gardens and flowers, which Woody takes great care. A washer and dryer in laundry adjacent to the coffee room. Our room (queen standard room) was very spacious. Bathrooms included a large bar of glycerine lavendar soap and Gil Christ Soames brand shampoo, conditioner, lotion. The breakfast is SCRUMPTIOUS and very substantial. Not only is there a buffet spread of homemade granola, yogurt, breads (including raisin bread) for toast , dried fruits and nuts, juices, but they serve a gourmet hot meal...herbed scone with eggs and chives; ham cups with mushroom and eggs. This followed a fruit dish such as homemade Flathead Valley cherry cobbler. We enjoyed the happy hour. My husband always wanted to return the B&B by 5pm so he would not miss the beer/wine & appetizers served. This B&B happened to be our stop before and after Glacier National park. But it will be our destination now to refuel our soul.

Yelp
Although we stayed for only one night we had a wonderful stay. Betsy was the consummate host, making us feel at home immediately. The rooms were lovely with comfortable beds and dreamy comforters that invited you to stay in bed all day. The food was delicious from the evening appetizers, to the hearty breakfast, to the fresh baked cookies. We hope to be back for another visit soon!

Yelp
Let me tell you I was extremely skeptical about staying at a B&B. I had never done it before and it always sounded awkward to me. However, my wife and I stayed here July of 2016 for our honeymoon and this was one of the single most enjoyable places we have ever been. We stayed in their Great Northern Suite and it is absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast is fantastic and Woody is a really wonderful host. Homemade cookies are out at all times and they have a lovely cocktail hour with fresh made appetizers. The grounds are spectacular and you can easily get lost in the relaxation. If you come to Whitefish all I can say is you are insane if you stay anywhere else! I can't thank them enough for making our stay perfect.
