Good Mellows

I went here with my girlfriend one and a half weeks ago and this was the best burger place in Japan we've ever been to. The staff is very friendly and they speak English as well. The burgers are very delicious, the meet and ingredients are really fresh and high quality. Also the location is close to the beach and feels like a beach hut. Would definitely come again the next time in Kamakura.

We loved this restaurant! The burgers and fries were amazing and perfectly done. Perfect for when you want to recharge after a long day. Also, the atmosphere was very relaxed and nice. The staff were very friendly and open and we really felt welcome. Can't recommend this place enough! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Delicious Burgers in Kamakura! We had burgers here and they were absolutely juicy and delicious! While it took a little while for the food to arrive, it was clear that everything is freshly prepared — and definitely worth the wait. If I'm ever back in Kamakura, I’ll be coming here again for sure. Arigato gozaimasu! 👏

The server was great, and spoke english very well. Kind staff, I will definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend the onion rings and pickles they have! Friends had guava juice and said it tasted amazing. I got the Pepperjack Burger with bacon and by far the best burger I've had while in Japan so far.

Excellent burgers with a laid back vibe. We had cheeseburgers, avocado burger and onion rings. Coming from southern California, USA we appreciate a good burger.

Great small place with friendly staff, serving excellent burgers and a good range of beers. I recommend the Miyama Baby Blond. Note that they are cash only.

The food was great, the waiter was so fantastic and friendly. We got there when they were closing not realizing and they invited us in and let us stay an extra hour. The food came out quickly and was delicious. If we’d known they were closing we would have found somewhere else but they were so hospitable. Highly recommended

Best Burger, Hot dog and ginger ale in Japan! Great vibes on the patio and amazing service. The charcoal grille made this smoky BBQ sauce burger one of the best I have ever had. The hot dog was the best as well the home made local bread for the bun was amazing!

Good Mellows makes Great Burgers!! Sorry no pics. Was far too hungry to flex. Parking was wonky as they only have two spaces. When turning into parking I got honked at. Ok man how about I drive I to on coming traffic to save u time. Food was good. Patio and indoor seating. I wanted to try their fish and chips but it was not a to go item. Real popular spot, there was a stupid long line brewing as we left. If you're in the area, go here and treat yo self. Don't be lazy like me and drive

We had an amazing burger at Good Mellows. They have a great selection of burgers. And if you want a really good salad, they have that too. We are happy we came here.

Walked an extra mile for a good American burger and was not disappointed. Great food and chill vibe. 5 stars.

Great bar/cafe about 10 min walk from Daibutsu Kamakura Great Buddha statue in Hase along the beach. Hase is just a 10 min train ride from Kamakura. Great craft beer available (Ballast Point and Port during my visit), but you have to come for the burgers. Forget everything else on the menu and order any burger. They're cooked over a charcoal grill with attention to detail that is perfectly Japanese and totally pays off. If you're craving a burger, love craft beer and you're in the area, you need to head over here. NOW!!
