We stayed at Good Ol’ Days Hotel from December 17 to December 19, 2025, together with a Swiss friend couple who were visiting Korea for the first time.
This hotel turned out to be an absolute gem and one of the highlights of our Busan trip.
After arriving at Busan Station by SRT from Seoul, getting to the hotel was incredibly easy.
While taking a taxi was an option, we simply took the subway directly from Busan Station.
It’s only one stop to Jungang-dong Station, and even with large suitcases, the journey was smooth and stress-free.
This is especially important in Korea, where buses often limit the size and number of suitcases per passenger, making the subway a much more reliable choice for travelers with luggage.
The hotel is perfectly located in Jungang-dong, within walking distance of Jagalchi Market and Nampo-dong.
The neighborhood itself is full of stylish, small, and private cafés, which gave the area a creative and charming atmosphere we really loved.
From right in front of the hotel, it’s also very easy to take the subway to Seomyeon or Haeundae and everywhere making this an excellent base for exploring Busan.
One lovely detail was the café on the lobby floor. Depending on the length of your stay, you receive one complimentary coffee per day, which felt thoughtful and generous.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed modern, cozy, and clearly created with great care.
Inside the room, every detail felt intentional, from the comfortable bed and bedding to the cute, well-curated snacks provided.
What truly made the stay special, though, was the staff.
Every time we encountered them, during check-in, check-out, or simply leaving the hotel in the morning…
we were greeted with warm, sincere smiles. Their kindness never felt excessive or forced, just genuinely heartfelt, and it left us feeling welcomed and relaxed.
We only stayed two nights, and it honestly felt too short.
Discovering this hotel made me so happy, and from now on, whenever I visit Busan, this will be the first place I book without hesitation.
Absolutely worth visiting if you’re in Busan.
