Good Stuff - Hermosa Beach

I came for a solo brunch and Hugo’s service was fabulous! He was very attentive, didn’t rush me, and everything came out perfect. I had the two eggs with bacon, fruit and toast+ a cinnamon roll added on! Everything was cooked to perfection and the cinnamon roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. I was hoping for a latte and was disappointed that I couldn’t get one until I had the cold brew. It was so tasty. I can’t wait to come back!

OUTSTANDING service! Best restaurant experience I’ve had in LA. Gabi was our server and she was just the best! Bubbly, attentive, and super friendly. The food was fire and I really enjoyed the cozy beach atmosphere. BONUS: I won a Pokémon raid here so that’s adding points. 10/10 would come here again. 🙇🏻‍♀️‼️

Big, fresh breakfasts in a laid-back spot right on The Strand. We had a short wait for our table on a bustling Sunday morning, but the people-watching was so good we didn't even mind. The steak carnitas and Greek omelet were SO good. Generous portions, but we still managed to find room to split a side of fluffy buttermilk pancakes (with real maple syrup - yum!) Shout-out to Hugo for the great service!! We'll be back.

Just had the most incredible brunch experience! The food was out-of-this-world delicious – every dish was a flavor explosion. What really made it special was our waiter Hugo . Super attentive, funny, and made great recommendations. Definitely going back!

You can’t beat having a meal next to the beach with an ocean view! Breakfast was the order of the day with an egg omelette with the Fixin’s, side of fruit and a nice warm spice muffin with butter. Folks, the pictures speak for themselves… Have a look see, don’t be jealous, go down and enjoy a nice breakfast, lunch, or dinner at good stuff in Hermosa Beach!

I recently dined at a beachside café and was thoroughly impressed. The Eggs Benedict with hash browns was exceptional, rivaling dishes from high-end hotels. The casual ambiance, with outdoor seating offering stunning ocean views, added to the experience. However, parking was a bit challenging, and the indoor seating lacked the charm of the outdoor area. Despite these minor issues, it's a fantastic spot for a beachfront breakfast.

we loved this place! the food is delicious, the apple muffins were so good it's unreal! we got more. the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. gabi our waitress was a sweetheart! she was super kind. beto our waiter was super nice too! the view is beautiful, directly to the sea. i'll definitely come back.

10/10 experience right on the beach, we came peak brunch time on Sunday and only waited 10 minutes for table. The hosts were very kind and our server Demetrio was amazing, kinda and fast with service. Would definitely recommend

Great breakfast spot with plenty of options, comfort and healthy. Sits right on the strand and feels like a surfer's shop - eat outside and enjoy the ocean or sot inside and feel like you are authentically SoCal. I met Beto my server who was kind and attentive. Wonderful service that was fast and my coffee cup was never empty. I'll be back, Good Stuff!

Such a cute restaurant by the beach!! It was so relaxing and the service was amazing I ordered the teriyaki steak breakfast bowl and it was so delicious. I was hungry so I wanted something filling but I didn't want breakfast. The teriyaki sauce is a bit on the sweeter side but I enjoyed it. The pineapples were a great addition and the steak was not overly cooked. I love how they give you a choice of toast or muffins. I usually never see muffins being an option so definitely had to choose that one. The blueberry muffins were super soft and moist, even more delicious when you add the butter!! The cinnamon roll at first glance looked a little disappointing and I wasn't expecting to like it or taste any cinnamon but wow was I pleasantly surprised! Super fluffy and the flavor was definitely there Also ordered a mango smoothie and that hit the spot. I am so happy I decided to stop here during my layover and it was more than worth it!!

Fun spot in the heart of Hermosa beach right on the beach. After riding our bikes from redondo beach to Venice we stopped here on the way back. We got there just as they were about to close, but the server was so kind and stayed open for us so we could grab a bite. Turkey wrap and chips and salsa hit the spot! Definitely will stop bye again when down on the strand in Hermosa Beach.

I had an awesome experience at The Good Stuff on the Strand in Hermosa Beach, thanks in large part to Demetrio! From the moment I sat down, he was super attentive and genuinely friendly--one of those people who makes you feel welcomed right away. I wasn't sure what to get, but Demetrio recommended the fish tacos, and wow--he did not miss. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell he knows the menu well and actually cares about helping guests have a great meal. If you're stopping by The Good Stuff, definitely ask for Demetrio. He made my visit even better. Great service, great vibe, and great tacos!

We went here for breakfast as a group of 4. They were really quick serving us! We sat outside because it was a pretty day but they also have umbrellas if the sun gets too much. I got the carnitas taco and my boyfriend got the wrap. We wouldn't say it was mind blowing, but it was good for us to be content. We did like the banana bread that they served at first - it was nice and warm!

Good stuff is one of the few breakfast spots on the strand at Hermosa Beach, so it definitely gets busy on weekends for brunch. We came on a rainy day so it less crowded than usual, which was nice. The California omelette was perfect, I will definitely be ordering it again. I appreciate that I could get pancakes as my side for my omelette! The highlight for me was that my pancakes came with real maple syrup. The portions for most plates aren't huge but they leave you satisfied. The Bloody Mary was too sweet for me and the coffee was just alright. Our server Kelly was sure to give me lots of refills and made sure we had what we needed.

Kelly was such a wonderful and attentive server. My cup of coffee was always full. The food is out of this world! Always worth the wait!

Always my go to with my wife after riding bikes or just great breakfast by the beach - nothing compares to being 6 feet away from the sand. Always a win great protein breakfast selection for people looking for heavy protein intake

I just had such a wonderful experience at Good Stuff and had to share! The food was absolutely fantastic fresh, flavorful, and just the right portions. You can really taste the quality in every bite. What truly made our visit exceptional, though, was our server Hugo. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. His energy was warm and genuine, and he had great recommendations that made our meal even better. If you're thinking about trying Good Stuff. do it! And if you get Hugo as your server, you're in for a great experience. We'll definitely be back! And the ambience is perfect being right next to the beach

Tadeo took excellent care of me. Super casual, super welcoming. The menu was great too cause it hit all the brunch favorites with the usual lunch items too. Going to be a regular here for now on

Good vibes, location, and food. Food: I've been here a few times, but I've never been disappointed with the food here. Everything's always been great, especially in relation to the price. This time, I tried the whole wheat pancakes for the 1st time and I was definitely glad that I did. It wasn't your usual whole wheat grainy, bland pancake. It was moist and somewhat fluffy and the pure maple syrup taste complimented well! Service: The service here is always a 5/10. It's ok service, but usually slow and not as friendly as other beach side restaurants. There's also usually a long wait on weekend breakfast/brunch time, so you'll end up waiting anywhere from 20min to an hour. Atmosphere: Great location, as it is right on the strand with a beach view. There's both outdoor and indoor seating (indoor seating is spacious and more quiet than the outdoor seating). Between tables are spacious so you don't feel too crowded either!! This is definitely a go-to breakfast/brunch spot for me in the area. Definitely check it out if you're in the area and looking for an American / Mexican type of food!

Beto our server was great! He took good care of our group - advised us to enjoy a bottle instead for mimosas, we'll save more. He stopped by our table to see how our food was tasting, food came out timely / it was a fun visit! We stopped by on a weekday - shorter wait time on tables. Nice outdoor seating specially on a sunny day! The Blackened Shrimp Fajita salad here is sooo delicious!

Absolutely delicious, service was sweet and very attentive. The atmosphere absolutely fun surfer vibes and on a perfect clear day it's ever better highly recommend to all locals.

Been coming for years, it's a breezy old friend, Though the food's lost its edge as the visits extend. The fish tacos lack much in flavor and flair, But that IPA? Perfection right there. The beach view still hits, the patio's prime, A fine place to sit and slow down some time. Martha's wins breakfast, that's just how it is-- But Good Stuff still earns my occasional biz.

Antonio was very friendly and attentive. Made our breakfast that much better. Food was very good as well. Had the chilaquiles and my wife had the Mexican monte cristo. We will be back.

We love good stuff . it's consistently a delicious and cheery place for brunch. Our waiter today, Hugo, was a really nice guy and super organized even on the busiest day of the year, Father's Day. Thanks Hugo!

I love Good stuff, I've said before and I'll say it again! Today I just had an absolutely amazing experience, service was like no other! Beto went above and beyond, I have not had service like that in a while! My husband and I had our usual, Chases fried chicken wrap and whole wheat pancakes. Kids had cheesy eggs and our food was very good as usual! Enjoyed the view and surrounded my kind people!

First time visiting here at the Good stuff . Food was amazing . Service was even greater . Huge shout out to our server Beto. Beto was super sweet , super attentive & made sure our needs were met since the second we were seated . He even made sure my pup was good & brought him a bowl of water . Server Beto was awesome! Attentive and quick. Food was cooked correctly and very good. Great beach side location. I realized shortly after visit I left my debit card behind! Panic! I was very relieved to find that my card was in their register waiting for me! Thank you so much for your honesty and kindness .

This restaurant is right on the Strand in Hermosa Beach. Stopped here for breakfast. Ordered pancakes, omelet and eggs with sausage. The food was good, the staff was friendly, but took a very long time to get our food. Lots of outdoor picnic style table seating with umbrellas are available.

Always good food, and service was likewise! Ambiance? Well, aside from the jerk sitting next to me blowing his nose, the ambiance is/was: Hermosa !

Friday special blackened shrimp tacos with rice was so delicious. Service was good thank you Beto and ambience were great. I'll be back!

We had a great breakfast here at good stuff on a rainy day sitting on the inside next to the window facing the beach! It was great breakfast was super good and service was excellent with our waiter Leon.

Been coming here for years. Usually it's after a bike ride--but today we drove down for some good food. I had my usual California omelet and my guy had the BAE burger. No complaints. Will absolutely so back. Highly recommend.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or brunch. My favorite is the vegan tofu scramble. The omelettes and Benedicts are great too. For lunch they have delicious wraps and burgers. The ambience is tough to beat, right on the strand in hermosa with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The service is excellent, Demetrio is especially on it, attentive and sort of a mind reader. We love that the restaurant is dog friendly, including a small menu just for the pups.

The cinnamon French toast was great. One of the best parts is there was barely a line to get in. My server was Leon he was an amazing server. Fully recommend coming here for breakfast.

Great location on the Strand but our Eggs Benedict was a miss. Hollandaise sauce was not fresh and made with vegetable oil, not butter and likely canned. Also my Benedict came out and had a hair on the sauce, they took it back and made a new one so ok - I guess. Coffee is bland and brewed, recommend getting Americano or custom coffee instead if possible or go somewhere else for a fancy coffee. If you go stick to basics and don't be adventurous on the menu and it might be all right.

First time at good stuff. Got seated pretty quickly, our server, Beto, was super awesome and accommodating.

Love this place, the food, and the location. One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Their menu has so much selection and my favorite dishes are their tuna melt, waffle, and turkey scramble enchiladas. Fantastic for the whole family!!!

Best food and service! Since being displaced by the Pali fire and relocating to Hermosa, Good Stuff has made us feel right at home! Comfort food at its finest!

The wait here always stinks but the food is awesome and the staff is pretty friendly. The views are gorgeous and it sits right next to the beach.

This place is amazing and our waiter Beto was so efficient and sweet. The food is so good and the ambiance is why we choose Good Stuff because we wanted to eat outside!!! After all we are in California!!!

If you can wait out the loooong waitlist, this is a wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. Sitting outside and looking at the ocean can't be beat. The ambiance is very much the best of beach living. Food is fine, very standard, but combined with the ambiance, this is a place you'll enjoy and want to keep coming back to.

Perhaps I didn't make the best choice, but the Bo's chicken salad was only ok. Ordered without dates. Showed up with almost no visible dressing, ordered more. Champagne vinaigrette was awesome. Salad not so fresh and chicken was cold chewy cubes. Corn and almonds are a nice addition. Husband ordered a breakfast wrap with bacon and eggs, and had them put the hash browns outside. Fruit cut became mine. Not bad. He was happy enough. Service was attentive and patient, it just wasn't my day. Cold and windy, seated on the patio I forgot to take any pics !

This is a classic case of you only write a review when you're disappointed. Gabi was slow and distracted. Rightfully so based on the circumstances.11/5 Eggs were cold, got the butt of the banana bread, had to ask 3 times for water and had to get up and get my own refill of coffee. I'll be back cause the view and menu is too good not too.
