Goodman Gallery Johannesburg

Had a great time there. From the minute I arrived, I was greeted by the curator with a smile and she showed me around the gallery and informed about the current exhibition. There is also a café inside where you can have drinks and read one if the many books provided to you. Also it in a safe area, which makes walking there a lot safer. Keep up the great work guys!!

Interesting for me because growing up in Johannesburg I didn't know why the traders moved to the Oriental Plaza.

This is a very pleasant gallery in the Rosebank area. It was a large W shape to it when you're inside, looking at the pieces. The walls are effective in making it interesting to walk around, as it is not just one big, square room. The only downside is that it is not very big, so you get through it all quite quickly.

Disgusting that artists work not being shown and relationship. The art tells TRUTH, but no doubt your benefactors gave influenced this. Truth is always silenced through oppression.

Beautiful curated space. There were two temporary exhibitions when I visited with an interesting selection of work. I wish there were a bit more to explore and do in the gallery itself, like maybe information on what the gallery supports or access to work from artists displayed in the past. There is a small cafe at the entrance and a tiny book and goodies corner. I suspect the place is just perfect for opening days, on any other days you'll stay a bit if you like the few pieces shown or move on fast if you don't.

Every Time I've been here the art, performances and wine has been great! Such a good vibe, Definitely a must see! The first Thursday of every month they have an open gallery which is great to check out if you are looking to try something new.

A very well curated space where artists get to showcase their impeccable art pieces. It was a refreshing experience being here. Cinthia Sifa Mulanga has one of the most amazing paintings I've ever seen. The use of colour, the intention, the message. It's all just amazing.
