Every Thursday whatever color of the week it is this week it was blue that item is two dollars even if it’s a bike you only pay two dollars if it has a blue tag. Are used to be able to come after work and still get a lot of good deals but lately I noticed there’s nothing left on the shelves. So I started watching and the employees are pulling the discount bargain tag items only if there designer or in good condition they pull them off the shelf‘s or the racks and take them in the back. So I asked the manager why are they taking the blue tags off the racks when they still have four hours of shopping she said because they needed the hangers please note the pictures I am close there are clothes all over the floor and hangers everywhere on the floor instead of all the workers Paulina other deals off the rack for themselves they should be picking up the

Goodwill store located on the corner of Imperial Ave. and Columbia way. The store has a lot of good stuff for you to find the location is in a real busy parking lot and usually the lot always full of cars as it is the location of Schools First bank, a nail salon, a bakery and a wash & dry. The lot is small so you have to be really lucky to get a spot for parking

The manager runs this place as if it was an antique shop. The prices are ridiculously high. People who are less fortunate can't even shop here with these prices. Hopefully you at least pay your employees well and give them benefits. With prices like these I'm sure you can afford to do so. Never coming back here again. They even had used shoes that cost higher than new ones. These are donated items. You should help and give back to the community instead of taking advantage and charging so high for stuff.

Great finds. The staff is part of the many gems you'll find there. Friendly smiles and familiar voices from the moment you walk in through those doors. It's always a pleasure in this welcoming environment.

I cannot review the store itself because although it was only 8:50p, and there were several people in the store as well as several people in line, the woman at the counter told me they were closed. I explained that I understood they were closing in a few minutes, but could I just look around for a few moments to see if it would be worth the gas to come back tomorrow, but she just rudely said "nope, we're closed." I said can I just look in the case at the counter at least, but this kid came up and no, sorry, told me to leave and then locked the door and stood there. Now I understand about the time, but I am leaving this review based on the rude and nasty attitude that I was given. There is a right way and a wrong way to approach a situation, and what they did was wrong. Come on, learn some respect, and how to speak to people before you open your mouth. I won't be back.

Goodwills in general, like most places have raised their prices. Like my niece said, $5 is now what $1 used to be. Some things, totally worth it, others... not so much. My stop here today again on 1/20/26 yielded a nice lenox paper towel holder. Can take that off my treasure hunt list.

I arrived here around 4:45pm after being turned away at another location thrift donation center. They took all the boxes I had and just asked what was in each boxe so I could place it in the correct bin to help the employee organize. The employee was nice and helpful. I definitely recommend donating here!

There is a time when you need a break from the outside world..my place is thrift stores like the goodwill to think and find nicknacks.. I could spend hours just looking thru all the stuff they have...

If you're looking for the warm fuzzy feeling of donating, skip this location. The older lady who runs the donation center has been there for years, and her attitude hasn't changed one bit -- rude, condescending, and always acting like every single donor is ruining her day. This isn't a one-off bad mood, it's her entire personality. Instead of simply taking donations like every other Goodwill manages to do, she inspects everything in front of you with a look of disgust, sighing and huffing as if accepting clothes is beneath her. Newsflash: it's literally the job. And the petty behavior doesn't stop there -- I asked if there was a trash can for an item that clearly couldn't be donated, and she flat-out told me "no," even though one was right there in plain sight after a quick search . Honestly, what was the point of lying? That kind of pettiness is exactly why people walk away shaking their heads. If Goodwill doesn't want trash items, fine but that's part of the business. With every donation there will be some items that don't make the cut. That sorting should be handled off-site, or at the very least not in front of the person donating. People shouldn't have to stand there while someone with a bad attitude picks apart their things. Here's the bigger issue: donating isn't just people "getting rid of junk." Sometimes it's tied to loss, grief, or saying goodbye to a loved one's belongings. People come here trying to do something good, often while carrying heavy emotions. To be met with snide comments and visible annoyance? It's insulting. I've donated here before -- and every time, this same woman has had an attitude. Clearly, it's not an accident or a bad day; this is just how she treats people. Goodwill should either retrain her or move her out of customer-facing work, because she's the reason people leave this place feeling worse than when they came in. If you want to actually feel appreciated for giving, go elsewhere. This location is proof that Goodwill doesn't always mean good will. As a good person I will keep donating and due to convenience this location is faster for me but trust me when I say I will continue doing so with a smile perhaps not this location.

Place is filled with bugs , left covered in bites. I didn't even try anything on. And wasn't Even there five mins

This place is great! I was happy that I was able to donate lots of good clothing and household items. I had three containers full of mens, women's and little girls clothes in good condition along with a few pairs of shoes, new purses and accessories. I was told this place helps people by creating jobs and training for people who are in need. The lady that helped me was very nice and patient even though she looked overwhelmed with the amount of people that kept coming by trying to also donate but clearly they were short staffed and had met capacity for the day. She told me she used to be homeless and this helped her get back on her feet which is great. I asked if there was a way that I could volunteer to help sort out merchandise but was told that was not allowed. If you would also like to donate just come in early because once the bins are full they're done for the day.

This location is pretty spacious and have lots of selections. Unfortunately the last two times I've stopped by, I didn't leave with anything. However, they still have a lot of great stuff others might enjoy.

First time visiting this location. They have lots of clothes for sure. What really puzzled me is that they sell trash products that are not clothes And it was not cheap but overpriced. Also when its the color of the day u might only find 1 item. It was red today. Only found 2/3 items that had red stickers.

Visited this location looking to find a dress however I stumbled upon the purse section and found a bag that caught my eye. I saw it was in great condition with no visible stains or tears so I checked for a price tag and found it to be reasonably priced at just $9.99. Took it to the register and the cashier gave me a blank stare and proceeded to call someone over for a price check because she believed this wasn't priced correctly. Another lady walked over and began to talk to the cashier and then looked at me and proceeded to say that the bag was not for sale! Didn't understand why it wasn't for sale because it was literally on display with all the other purses and tagged with a price tag. Didn't even apologize just blankly stared at me until I walked out of the store. Very disappointing will not be coming back.

Shopping for bargains doesn't mean good bargains. Passed by today to drop off donations and decided to shop. Dirty but nice double cassette stereo. No electric cord and major dirty inside and out and...no work. Finally got the tuner to work but no cassette. I've got a desk size radio. Garbage! I've found better stuff at yard sales. They have no wuelms in selling item that seriously don't work. Sad

So excited to go to the elite yelp event tonight called roaring 20s in Whittier California. Been working on my Inspired 1920's fit all week. Kind of surprised how much clothes I had in that category. I was missing one thing a very specific thing . I needed some pearls ! A great way to mix all my colors together black white and gold. The cashier Artavia was so disrespectful and rude. I was unaware of one of their return policies which upset her so she called me "girl" and spoke to me condescendingly. She huffed, puffed, rolled her eyes. When I was purchasing my items she asked if I wanted to apply my student discount, I was about to say yes when she cut me off and very aggresively told me to "WAIT WAIT WAIT".

The manager Anthony is the most un helpful person ever. There was a long line and when asked for help from employee he told him no. What a dick. The other employees very very helpful and spot on.

i definitely love shopping here, but the way the cashier/manager dedi spoke too my mom was very rude. She explained something and didn't ask if my mom wanted to round up and then proceeded to get mad when my mom didn't understand what she was trying to say. She said "no está bien como no entendió lo que le estaba diciendo" meaning "Never mind it's fine since you didn't understand me" . If you know you're having a rough day, don't take it out on your customers. Rude ass worker

Customer service not so great. No one greeted us as we came in or when walking by us , we just got the stink eye. As if we were going to steal from here or something! Lady all this Merchandise is given free here keep your stink face to yourself ! Anyways it was organized but customer service was crap. All in all won't be back .

I have come here a couple of times. The staff is friendly and the selection is good. They keep the store clean and organized and the items all have prices. I think the prices are a little high - but that's just me. I dropped some stuff off a couple times and that was a little confusing because of the incorrect directions give to me by the staff - but people are only human. I drop a lot of stuff off - because we don't like stuff piling up around the house. So I keep a box in the shop and keep putting stuff in it. When it gets full - I drop it off. and put a fresh box out!

It's unclear why there is no parking on a weekday morning but that's just the tip of the iceberg. I digress. I stopped in thinking this looked like a "Rare by Goodwill" and I might find something cool. The building is very modern and clean looking. When you first step in there's a spindle of brand new rugs and drapes by a brand I've never heard of. I found it odd that there were racks of candy & chips near the register. There's numerous shelves of brand new food storage containers as well but they look dollar tree quality but they're asking for $10+ for the set. There are brand new poor quality heels from Cupid, Forever 21, etc. They must have been surpluses out as there was a bunch in multiple colors but the same silhouette. The women's clothes were abundant but I didn't go through them. The appliances and kids section looked really grimy. Its a hard pass on coming back to this location.

They were very helpful every time I've went there it's always someone going the extra mile to help me. Thank you for good customer service it's very hard to find now days. Only problem is with goodwill they only except donations on certain times and they only except drop offs as long as they haven't met their daily limit. So when ever their full they close the drop off area. I think think tats very inconvenient for customers who want to donate. Salvation Army just takes your donations which makes it easy for people who want to donate

Employees were very nice and helpful. However, this store is the least organized. The racks are marked by size...but the tops are all mixed up so you waste so much time. You basically need to go thru the all the racks even tho you just want XL Also, prices are very high and the brands are very ordinary Poor Housewares section too

Prices are ridiculous,are you kidding me?a cup was $9 I could buy a brand new for a better price at Ross or anywhere else. I rather go to Salvation Army,they got way better deals.

Highest priced Goodwill I have ever walked into. It's unfortunate as it could be fun to shop here. Clothes could use a little breathing room as everything is so crammed up. Employee, very tall younger guy, was super nice and super friendly. Great customer service.

I came across a woman named Didi working there and she was very rude to me. I was aghast at how comfortable she was talking in a rude manner to me. She seems like she hates her job. Definitely will be avoiding this place because of how uncomfortable she made me feel.

Large variety of stuff here. They always stocked up daily. Price is decent then most Goodwill I visited. Workers here are very friendly.

I used to come to this goodwill when I was a child with my grandmother and it was always a staple for us. I went in looking for some sheets and blankets USED for some puppies and kitties that were just born and all I could find were ones that were from liquidation (I'm guessing) all new in wrap, which I guess is cool but I remember we used to get sheets and blankets for like $2 used. These sheet sets and comforters were like $20-$25! I said nevemind and went to look for books, which was cool because I found 2 of the 3 50 shades books!!! For like $6 each, GREAT find!! All the clothes were cramped but overall organized. Overall, although I didn't find what I was looking for, still found a great deal, I may return for some more books. I shall also try another goodwill for some sheets and blankets.

Came in here excited to find things to buy but was confronted by someone at the desk to give them my backpack( that I bought here weeks ago ). I thought it was fine but right when I turned around there was two people with a bag & backpack! I tried asking the guy why he didn't take the other people's backpack. Literally didn't want to be there anymore cuz that's some weird shit like why single me out? Was it how I dressed? My race? I literally come here all the time and now they wanna act like this. Y'all trash. ALSO, wanted to add that because I'm a student and personal preference, I use a backpack instead of a purse or bag. Specifically the kanken.

This rating is strictly related to the donation center. We arrived at the Downey location at 2:30 in the afternoon and was greeted by a locked door. A young lady came to the door and said through the glass to come back on tomorrow. She had the nerves to say they didn't have any room to accept the 3 U-Haul size small boxes. The entire drop off section was void of anything. What a joke.

I come here to donate my unwanted goods. Pros: *ACCEPTS ALL DONATED GOODS. So far with my experience, they have accepted everything for donations including electronics, clothing, toys, books, appliances, etc. *GIVES TAX RECEIPT. *LARGE STORE. Inside the store is pretty big and has the usual discounted items Cons: *SMALL PARKING LOT (that or it is usually full whenever I go there due to other stores) *MEDIOCRE CUSTOMER SERVICE

This store get the clothes for free and charged the customers like they are shopping at the regular store.

Have always felt unwelcome here.. a bunch of rude old ladies run this place. Plus everything is over priced. If you find anything of high value, it's priced as high or ever higher than it sells for online.. found a designer bag for almost $400 in (goodwill) store Yet it sells online for under $300

When I came here the first time, I had such a good experience that it made me stop going to other Goodwills. But after today, I will be trying out different stores and here's why: First, the parking was kind of packed. Not the store's fault, but it was getting to the point that I almost left. Second, I was looking for shoes and while that didn't go too bad, it was hard finding decent pairs in my size. The first time here, I got more than one pair and today just one. Finally, when I went to check out, it was difficult to know where the check out line started. There was only one woman behind the counter. I got behind a man that the lady was kindly helping. But when it came my turn, no acknowledgment or nothing. The lady went back to the other side to help a woman who was requesting manager information. She didn't seem happy. Another customer came behind me and was getting impatient just as I was. I finally had to speak up and ask if anybody else was available to help check out. I shouldn't have to do that. I understand something was going on, but it takes less than 10 seconds to at least let the customer, me, know that you see me. That would have saved a lot of grief.

I used to love shopping here. But that was pre covid when the dressing rooms were open and you actually knew what you were buying. Fast forward 3 years AFTER covid, dressing rooms are still closed. I asked why this was and was told it's managements decision but that it's for the best because it keeps people from stealing. Well it also keeps your HONEST CUSTOMERS from trying things on and wastes our time with repetitive trips to exchange things we don't like (yes no money back since you cannot try on items. Just store credit to buy more items you can't try on). It's literally such a smack in the face for us honest people. Maybe to prevent stealing your employees should be a bit more diligent and actually have someone posted at the fitting rooms at all times. Never wasting my time here again. There are plenty of thrift stores who let their customers try on clothes before buying

Went to this Goodwill looking for a bargain and had to leave without buying anything. Even with the 25% discount, this Goodwill was too expensive. All the dresses were 8.99$ and the shoes were 15$. Nothing too good and way too expensive for used, worn, clothing. I expected stuff to be cheaper because it is donated and the proceeds go to help the less fortunate but with those prices I couldn't even afford it.

Disgusting! That's the word I would use for this place, and not because of appearance of the store but on how the customer service at this store is. Not being from the area we decided to stop on by to browse, and although they do have a decent selection of items I was about to leave the store with a few cool items happy. So here comes the 1 star review. So my mother decided she wanted to use the restroom and we asked a female employee where they were and she had directed me towards the back allowing us to use them. While I waited for my mother to come out this employee starts harassing verbally me and the other people waiting saying these restrooms are strictly for employees (which had no indication that it was strictly for them), and we weren't allowed to use them. He continued to ramble on for a minute to demanding us to listen to him. So although the selection of items were decently good and a convenient location. It's the customer service that sucks here.

This Goodwill prices are too high. Every other Goodwill has there dressing rooms open this was does not. The clerk said cause of the pandemic. I think they just don't want to hassle with dressing rooms. The staff needs to be friendlier. I'm not going to this one anymore. The one in Norwalk has better pricing.

On a whim, I decided to stop in this Goodwill in Downey on my way home from work. I found a cute desk lamp, the staff helped me with providing a bulb and plugging it in to see if it worked AFTER I had accidentally dropped a glass item and broke it. I was shocked as the manager, Linda and the assistant manager, Lupe, didn't show frustration, judgement, or uphold the "break if you buy it" policy. They were so incredibly sweet and did not make me feel embarrassed for my mistake. While I was in line to pay, Linda found me again and drew up a conversation about the lamp. She said she had an even nicer table lamp she wanted to offer me and man, was it beautiful! It was a hundred times better quality than the one I was planning to buy and for about $5 more dollars, I would have a much sturdier lamp in excellent shape with a glass shade and two bulbs that would make for a brighter room. The best part is she said she has a matching one that she bought from Lowe's and even still, offered the treasure to me when I'm sure as the manager she could have bought for herself and added in her own home. It is especially satisfying when you buy something second hand and learn of its high regular retail value! THANK YOU LINDA! I am truly blown away by the kindness and generosity I was shown on my visit! My motto for thrift stores is: "You never know what you can find". Now I'm going to say, "You never know what you can find or who you can meet." It was a pleasure to have such a sweet encounter with the staff and management of this thrift store. I am an avid shopper at thrift-stores and Goodwills in many different cities through LA and Orang County. Friendliness, care, and even acknowledgement as a human often lacks in stores. However, Linda and Lupe, broke the mold on this visit and I cannot wait to return and see my friends again. If I hadn't said it yet, THANK YOU!

I love coming here early to find things. I'm a crafty girl and I like to refurbish what others may think is trash. Unfortunately today I wanted to donate 2 large boxes of candle sticks, glassware and some clothes but they refused me donating because they only had 12 cages and everything was full because of covid. So they turned me away to come back in the AM between 10-11. Kinda disappointed because I have today off & was wanting to do this for weeks. Also I went in the store beforehand and the shelves were more sparse than usual. Being the holidays I would think they would be able to take in more thingsas I'm writing this review they turned away another donor.

Come now for Halloween themed clothing! An entire section of costumes, gently used clothing that can double as costumes, and accessories. I personally came here for a Hawaiian luau outfit and found two shirts for less than $15 each. Unexpected plus: 15% discount for clients 55 years and above every Tuesday! I was happy to have a very friendly cashier, who was courteous and helpful too!

By far this is the most disorganized thrift store. If you want to call it that. Some items where above retail look at pictures. The store looks like it does not have anyone working there. I found a twinky maker. Used. They want 29.99. It should be 10.00. Way over priced. Shoes are not by size. Good luck. I would recommend not coming to this thrift store. All used coffee cups are 1.99. Prices are just out of this world. Someone should tell them it was donated by someone that thought it was useless.

OMGGG !! This place is amazing,it's not far ,it's cheap and they sell clothing from the mall like Macys, forever 21,pro clubs SHEIN.EVERYTHING YOUR LOOKING FOR THEY HAVE !!! the workers are SOO NICE they have so much cute dress jeans sweatshirt everything!!!! The shirts start at $3.99-$5.99 and the jeans are at $6.99-$7.99 AMAZING!! Shoes are more expensive but there Nikes and so muchh more I got Nike Air Force 1 for 25$!!!!!!! They also sell bath and body works perfumes and lotions and VS the sell MK bags and nice ass furniture!!!!! YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT !!

Open your fitting rooms! Your pointless "in order to keep you safe" signs is BS. Stop using Covid as an excuse for you or your employees laziness. You do realize you're a store full of second hand items and ANY of the people who donated could have been sick with Covid right? Yet, keeping the fitting rooms closed is protecting the public? So stupid. People are spending money at your establishment. Give the lm the proper respect and all them to try on clothes in a room like a respectable person.

I wet to the good will abed got this back pack purse, it had a hole on the side of it this purse was $10.99. Which is way overpriced for a used item, I went to TJ Maxx and got a backpack purse for the same price and it was not torn and it was by Steve Madden. Wow what a rip off.

If it was possible I will give them 0 stars, it was my first time coming in here and I was very excited to find good stuff, I was with my family and my baby, I don't have a stroller so I seat my baby in the car like normally people do and this lady starts following my mom and telling her to get the baby off because they don't suppose to have "baby's in the car" it unfortunately didn't have a right seat like a shopping car does and they were very rude they were telling me " THEN BRING YOUR STROLLER) I understand that but what if I don't have one if I don't have money to buy a stroller, in my opinion they suppose to have a car where kids can seat, to many families go with babys and kids they were very unprofessional

I am glad I could use my 500th review for a good cause. Last year, 2009, 1.9 million people were "served through employment and training programs." Since "83% of revenue goes "directly into employment and training programs for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment" I dropped off a few office/school supplies I do not use/use less of in this digital age and a couple of jackets. In my life I have probably given away most of the books I have read keeping only about 20 currently. I feel good staying clean/organized while giving to those who may need it. I went to the drop off area where a freindly gentleman gave me a reciept. I went inside the store and saw value purchases. They had men's and women's clothing for $5-$10. What was there, I saw some fashionable items that looked clean and untorn. Maybe people who lost weight? who knows? The parking can get crowded but the store is not and well ventillated btw. They are open till 8pm next to a dry-cleaner a few fast food places. I will be back to this one or the one on Whittier blvd.

Good selections found some vintage jackets for my kids here which I was super stocked about! I love the large selection and how trendy they are here. Downside is staff kind of stared at us when we wanted to checkout. Seemed a little annoyed and wanted to rush the whole process which spoiled the experience but whatever. Just good selection especially vintage stuff

If I can give this a zero star I would I was treated horribly by a manger I over heard her name was shanelle she was following me around the whole time and didn't let me shop in peace idk if it was because of my race but I felt uncomfortable and weirded out I hope no one waste there time here this place is a joke

Customer service is nice. The cstorenis super clean found some really good dvds for $1.99. On sundays for red tags they are 50% off

I always find cool stuff here. I love decorating for Christmas and I found awesome decorations for a great price. The staff are very kind

Expensive - retail new prices for second hand (often damaged) merchandise. Their purple $5.99 tag is the new Goodwill $.99 red tag. Most houseware decor is priced at $9.99 and above. I hope the manager reads this and takes a trip down the street to TJ-Max where brand new items are better priced.

I was impressed by the customer service that was given by two younger gentlemen. I wish I would've taken note of their names but I didn't. The store closes at 8pm but the donation center closes at 7pm (which I didn't know!!) I got there at 720pm and both guys were extremely nice and courteous & we're not hesitate to open the donation center to let me put my bags in. I've been to this facility a few times - the people here have always been nice and helpful.
