I had a great experience stopping by here the other day. Really loved their outdoor seating on such a beautiful day, and the customer service was amazing! They had CRUNCHY fried pickles and pool tables too. Would definitely recommend giving them a visit

I annoit Goofy's Grill the Best Hambuger In Texas. I took a bite and uncontrollably started dancing! It was decorated perfectly. 10 out of 10 best Burger 🍔 Ive ever had in my life im sooo mad that I barely discovered it because of all the years I missed eating it. Worth the drive, had the string onions sooooo goood! I caught a Live show in the venue area behing the bar it was so beautiful with all the waterfall like sparkly lights and huge American Flag! First time here and not the last! Im so happy I came to see Haywire play here. I came for the music and stayed for the food. Get this hamburger!!!!!!!!

WOWzers!! Really good French Fries crunchy on the outside and soft on inside. Get the Roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon habanero glaze. Seriously delicious. Like these would be addictive

It was our first time and it was okay but could of been better. We put in a to go order about 40 minutes before they closed the kitchen, but regardless we should of received a decent portion of grilled chicken on our salads for $10. It was a good salad, but definitely needed more protein. It was small and It was a skinny strip cut into tiny pieces I could barely taste and no croutons. Wings were good but they gave us the wrong sauce. I was pretty disappointed with the portions for the price.

Is okay. It was our second time eating there. The first time eating there it was delicious and atmosphere was really good. This time eating there fine my steak was overcooked! The waitress was pretty short and rude about me not liking mistake. I was going to order something else but instead he took my steak and my fries and brought me out a burger that did not smell very good and I did not eat. She has stated that the establishment doesn't like to give money back or through the people don't like which is fine I also don't like to have my food remained I don't trust it once I go through that process. I would have rather kept what I had to get home made an omelette with it or something but because she didn't have patience to allow me to finish I was trying to say she completely misunderstood me. And then from there on it was like I don't know how to explain it but she was just kind of rude and I didn't enjoy the rest of my time there I was ready to leave. The place is okay the food is okay it's not that great the hamburger came from a frozen patty and it smelled like it had spoiled. So I don't think I'll be back. It's a shame cuz we just moved into the area and there's not even a few places that we like so far that was one of them not anymore. I'm pretty sure that we were overcharged for a meal as well because it was over $40 for two people that's ridiculous and we didn't get appetizers

It was great. It is definitely bar food, with a couple of specials, but it was good. They have some of the best fries I have ever had. It has a great atmosphere for hanging with friends and playing pool and listening to live music. The staff was great. It has a large hall in the back with another bar. They had a corn Hole tournament going on when we were there but they say there is something different all the time. Fun place

Really good burger and Mac and cheese balls! The red wine was $5 and good.

Always a friendly face, great service, exceptional food (its a bar not a 5 star resturant and doesn't pretend to be), fair pricing, and expectional entertainment. Yes, it is a DIVE BAR by all definitions, but its the best little DIVE BAR that isn't full of trashy people. I recommend my go to items: #1 - Steak Bites sub grilled veggies and add a side salad w/ranch. I think of it as a trip to the steak house at half the price $16 I believe with tax. Exception value, healthy option, and always fills me up just enough to sustain with clean food. #2 Their Chicken Fried Steak Special on Thursdays and Fridays is hard to beat! Coming in under $20 to boot and the portions are generous for sure. It's pretty much a belly buster. 3.) Hangover Burger but Bunless is a great option with thick bacon and topped with an egg. Order it bunless and sub the fries for a side salad with ranch or grilled veggies and get er done! Theresa and her staff are amazing and I always look forward to great time and meal with or without friends. Come check it out for yourself. Thurday Night Chicken Fried Karaoke is a great event to attend weekly too 7-???pm! It's always a fun time.

GOOFY'S is awesome! The food is super tasty. My burger was huge and the fries were crispy and perfect. The staff is super friendly and fast. The whole place is fun and silly. I loved it. If you want great food and a place to be goofy, GO TO GOOFY'S!

We have been in several times over the past few weeks. Here's what I think. First and foremost, the service is great. Super friendly folks who are laid back enough to make us feel like we can come in and de-compress during our lunch break. We have not liked every single thing we have ordered here, but that's an US issue and we just don't order those things again. We do like the taco salad and the Philly very much tho. Their ABLT is delicious! The Blue Balls are really good. I can't speak on the drinks, as we just order water due to the heat. The beers look cold tho... We don't have an issue with the prices. If you get "bad service" here then you are probably having a bad day and it's showing. We have had nothing but a pleasant experience, every time!! They were even super kid friendly and did everything they could to please our little picky eaters one evening. 100* for sure!

Walked in 1 minute after the kitchen closed after asking the cook if he would cook us some food for an additional tip the bartender told us off and got really aggressive with us. Don't go here if you expect any kind of good service

A Complete Disaster -- Avoid Goofy's at All Costs My friends and I recently placed a very large order with Goofy's through a third-party system (likely DoorDash or one they partner with). This was no small order -- it would have brought significant business to Goofy's and fed over 20 people, including children. After waiting over 90 minutes with zero communication, the order was abruptly canceled. No explanation. No courtesy call. Just canceled -- leaving us scrambling late at night to find another restaurant before they closed. Goofy's is a bar open until midnight. There is no excuse for canceling an order of that size, especially without reaching out. According to the third-party rep I spoke with, the restaurant should have communicated with them directly. They didn't. That's a failure on Goofy's part -- plain and simple. Worse yet, when I called to ask for a manager, the bartender was not only dismissive but flat-out rude. I politely asked to speak to someone in charge, and she curtly replied, "The owners can't be here 24/7." I made it clear I wasn't asking for an owner -- just a manager -- and her final response was, "Well, I'm a bartender." That kind of customer service is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a town that prides itself on community. After reading other reviews, it's clear our experience wasn't unique. Reports of dirty fry oil, low-quality food, a poor atmosphere, and consistently rude staff are everywhere. In hindsight, we may have actually dodged a bullet by not eating here -- though it came at the cost of time, stress, and hungry kids. Bottom line: Goofy's is disorganized, unprofessional, and not worth your time or money. This place is a stain on an otherwise welcoming community. I strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere.

Need more help but servers were very attentive and friendly. I think the whole town is friendly by nature. We did eat a bit late but the kitchen was still open. Food was very fresh and cooked to order so worth the wait. Chicken fried steak was a tad tough but still very good. Mashed potatoes excellent.

It's hard to leave a rating to a place where the wait staff is rude to their client's! Also, the owner is rude and very disrespectful!! Avoid this place..... RB

Camping next door, came over for some apps and a few beers. Apps were good...got the chips and queso and Mac n cheese bites...both were good. Love to say that everything was at least marginal, but the service was WAY below par. Took a while to even be acknowledged when we came in, and it was a Saturday afternoon and there was six people in here when we arrived. Food did come Out fast as well as our first round...then crickets. Had to go to the bar and ask for another round...as soon as she was done talking with another employee. Cmon...I'm about as easy going as hell, but at three o'clock on a Saturday and the place is literally empty??? Shameful.

We had the steak bites, chicken fried steak and the tacos tonight. A++++ so good! And you can dirt dash this stuff! The menu is original and delish!

Been here twice now. Really awesome food and came out pretty fast. Only thing that sucks is i only saw like 2 people working bar and seating area so we had to go to the bar to get our order in, never had a server come. But they were really nice! Just super busy and not enough employees.

Will never step foot in this place again. Having to ask the waitress to check on my food 3 times to have her refuse and say that the food will be brought out when ready is beyond ridiculous. Had to go to kitchen myself to check on order that was not there, my order had been given to someone else. The waitress was lazy and unprofessional as is the Owner.

Doing it old school tonight at Goofy's.. and by old school, I truly mean real scratch food at great prices, served by fun folks who care about their customers! Here's the deal, two super cold Yueingling drafts, two delicious margaritas, overnight pot roast with mashed potatoes and a salad, and 3 crispy beef tacos.....all for $40ish. Not to mention, the incredible service from Jessica who truly was/is a delight. We're going again,....is tomorrow too soon?

We walked in through several people outside smoking and kids running around. Stepped inside to several people standing/sitting in bar area. 2 ladies behind bar and no one spoke to us at all so we didn't know if we were supposed to sit or what. More kids running around inside. We left

Goofy's isn't fine dining, it's beer and burgers. The burgers are awesome. Maybe best burger in town. I had the hangover burger with the onion strings and a cold Shiner Bock. I was impressed. In fact, all I could think of was Samuel Jackson's line "that is a tasty burger" while polishing it off with my cold beer. Well done Goofy's. I'll be back!

The waitress had god awful interpersonal skills and was incredibly rude. When reminded that an order was missing fries she rudely stared at a member of our party and then walked away, then when she came back with no one saying anything to her at all she said, "Stuff is still cooking guys." Again, in a rude tone. My brother in law who was turning 18 when to the bar to ask for quarters and she then proceeded to question him on, "if we were from around here" so I guess don't eat/drink here unless you're a local. The bartender was incredibly nice. He was the only saving grace. He checked on us the entire time while dropped off our food and then just left us. If it weren't for her, the place would probably get four stars, but I cannot stand bad customer service. The food was pretty good, nothing great. There's a jukebox and pool tables in the front, and live music on the other side.

5 Star Burger Joint! Yeah they serve other food too but their Burgers are big, beautiful, delicious, and all the good things a hamburger ever dreamed to be! Also, if Chicken Wings are your thing...Goofy's also does really good chicken wings! We ordered 2 Goofy Burgers and added jalapenos. The Goofy has everything: bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, etc. A side of fries and onion rings. Onion rings were thin cut like shoelace onion rings. Not my thing, but I know a lot of people like them like that. I like'em thick! They have a full bar and a Late Happy Hour!! A regular Happy Hour is cool; but a Late Happy Hour is Waaaaayyyyy Cooler!! This ain't no fancy place by the way...its local. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. Big parking lot. Super close to the River. But also close to the Lake. There aren't a lot of places to eat in Canyon Lake, so if a restaurant has so-so food it won't last too long during the off-season.

A very nice bar and Grill stopped in here with a friend from out of town because we really just wanted a nice snack ordered some of the best queso and hot sauce with chips and very crispy sweet potatoes fries One of the best and efficient staff around considering they are was very conscious of taking care of their customers Looking forward to coming back to try the entrées Specially pot roast tonight

Always great service and food. The three tacos and house made salsa are a great deal. The queso and house made chips are yummy, too. The bartender/server goes out of her way to make your visit spectacular. Kids are welcome, too.

This is your good old 'town Bar & Grill! CRISTINE is the BEST! She can pour a beer like a champ! Make sure you ask for her, she is friendly, kind and FAST - and please, send your compliments to the cooks.. they are they key to this success. Everything we had was as expected! it was good and a great price. We not only went once, or Twice but out of the 5 days we were in the area - we were there three times. Thats how good this place was. The entertainment was nice, they have a HUGE room in the back where they were streaming live on the Radio and the cats playing up there were really good. and Grab a beer or 10, the prices are great for some drinky drinks! Remember - this is a BAR & GRILL - so don't expect state of the art decor! This place makes you feel at home, relaxed and appreciated. Take care of your servers too - they are the best. ONE negative, they Micheladas were not that great... but the beer was COLD COLD COLD so I chose that instead. The staff here is GREAT! the best in the area in my opinion. Now due to the lack of help in the area, they are a little slow at bringing the food but its okay because its still HOT and Fresh! I don't mind staying here long having a drink or 10 - And I cannot stress enough.. this is a BAR & GRILL - don't be that GUY or Gal and give a 1 stay because it IS what it is intended to be! WITH ALL THIS being said.. this is VERY Family Friendly establishment - see you there in OCTOBER!

Not only do they charge 10 dollars to hear the band but I understand they charge a tax on there cover charge. How cheep is that. . I wonder if the IRS know that. I never hear of a tax on a cover charge..... .

Ordered the sliders- it was an incredibly overcooked burger cut into 4ths. The fries were cold. We ordered the Mac and cheese bites and were told they were at the end of the bag and didn't have enough to make a complete order but they still brought us out the 4 remaining ones that were burnt to a crisp. The waitress really didn't seem to care that all of the food was inedible.

Great service as always food is always fresh!!!! Can always count on a good meal here!!

Walking in, we were immediately greeted and told we could sit anywhere. Our server was so sweet and on point. There was low music playing and it all around felt like a nice hang out place. They had some pool tables in the back and a juke box and it looked like they also had an area for a small live artist but we came in early so don't take my word for that lol. I got the ABLT and it was AMAZING. The bacon was thick and the bread was high quality texas toast. While we were eating our server asked if we were visiting or if we were from around here to which we said we were visiting and she brought us like a visitor magazine which gives her brownie points in my book !

Bad food, bad service. They need to change their fry oil more often. The night I went there were only three employees.

Cold beer. Decent food. Air-conditioned. Shows and stuff on the weekends. Lunch specials. It's a dive and that's good.

Walked in and was not acknowledged or greeted by anyone. Could see food cooking on the grill with no one attending to it. Maybe they are THAT short staffed but I wouldn't recommended anyone from out of town expecting any level of service from this place.

This is the 2nd time I've placed an order with Door Dash for Goofy's. The first time, a couple of weeks ago, Goofy's wasn't able to prepare my order (reason unknown) and my order was canceled. This time we ordered a BLT and a munchies basket with cheese curds and poppers. The BLT was average, but the curds and poppers were meh. It is reasonable to assume the quality was effected by the time between pick up and delivery. As new residents to Canyon Lake, we were disappointed.

Loved the band and dance floor in the back. It played the older music my dad loved to listen to as I grew up. Also some good ol swing country as well. Food was eh, edible and good enough to satisfy an appetite. My biggest problem here was that it had ZERO Covid restrictions in place, none. Not a single employee wore a mask, no social distancing enforced, no sign saying they were choosing to not be compliant. We continued to wear out mask when away from the table, ordering or using the facilities but I'm pretty certain we were the only ones.

I really enjoy Goofy's. Staff is always friendly and food is good. I have been several times and will continue going.

Burgers are delicious! Fried pickles are good too. It is a bit over priced in my opinion. But good nonetheless!

I along with some friends stopped by to check out this place because as we drove by we noticed they had a wonderful front covered porch with picnic tables for seating. There was hardly a crowd because we came a bit after lunch. The service was great, they offered a bowl of water to my friends dog, and the food came out fairly quickly. The food was good, I'd definitely come back to this place with my pup and enjoy their patio. If I had to critique one thing, the cheese curds were really more like breaded mozzarella balls, which for us curd lovers, just isn't the same. Anyways, I do recommend and hope you enjoy!

We eat out often. Always trying new places. The food was pretty nasty! Nachos are ground meat, with little to no spice, greasy the cheese isn't real, is that pour on chases, had a huge pile of onions, some lettuce, and tomatoes, nothing else. My daughters salad had brown spots from the lettuce not being fresh! My husband and 3 kids left feeling sick, not an environment for kids. People were sitting around dropping the F word right next to my children. Yes I know it's a bar and Grille but staff heard it and didn't stop it. I get it if theirs no kids there, but show some respect. Staff was nice, but the food needs HELP!! To feed 5 of us was $83! That's pretty expensive on a Sunday for lunch! Needless to say we won't be going back.

We stopped in on Monday Memorial Day for dinner. Just as we were waiting to order we were hearing a person on the small platform stage announce this was "open mic night". We thought for singing! Turned out to be filthy and disgusting so called comedy:( It is difficult to enjoy the food which was average bar food while hearing about masturbation and hemorrhoids Monday night would not be recommended!!

Good little bar with bar food. Had the usual pool tables, juke box and video trivia. We were there on vacation and stopped in and had a couple drinks and some apps before going to the cabin and cooking. Probably a good stop during busy season.

Goofy's has the best chicken fried steak! We came in for dinner and ordered the special which came with a drink, veggies, mashed potatoes, salad and cake. It was a lot of food, but everything was so good, except the frozen veggies which were just ok. The blue cheese salad dressing was very good as well. We liked the meal so much, we made a second trip back that same week to order it again because it was also the Thursday special. One thing to mention, be sure you order your salad with no onions if you don't like onions. I kept forgetting to do that. They are chopped up white onions that overpower the salad. The service was friendly and had that southern charm. The bartender was watching a TV show and got us hooked so we stayed longer to see what would happen. They have pool tables so we played a few games as well. They were not busy on either visit. If I'm back in this area, I'll definitely be back to Goofy's for the best chicken fried steak!

Passed Goofys as we were trying to locate a bbq spot nearby. My daughter called to ask how late their kitchen was open and was told 40 more mins. We pulled in and went to order and were told we needed to hurry because the kitchen was closing in 20 mins. There were 7 of us and I was one of the last to place my order for a burger. They brought out everyone's food and I assumed they were going back to get my burger. When my husband commented there was one more burger needed , the server checked the kitchen, came back and told me they had not made it and would not be making it for me ... but not to worry, I don't have to pay for it.( I would certainly hope not!) I was not a happy camper, esp as this was our last night in Texas and I had already been bummed not to find the bbq place as planned. I will say that the 2 wings I ate of my husbands were good and my kids enjoyed the burgers and wings they ordered. I don't expect much out of dive bars, but I at least expected to get the food I ordered.

Amazing service that was fast and on point. The wait time for food was short and when it arrived boy did it hit hard! The burger was delicious with some of the best bacon I've ever had. The restaurant it self gives off small town bar/grill which I love.

Visiting the area for a month, have been coming to the Hill Country yearly since 2008. Went to Goofys for live music in the event center. Had drinks which were decent pours, ordered some food. Waitstaff were great, friendly and attentive, never waited on anything. What was most noticeable was the trash outside, old buckets laying around, torn tarps on the ground, trash everywhere. Trash boxes stacked at the exit between the bar and the event center so that you had to walk around them to get they the door. Boxes and trash thrown everywhere behind the bar. Made me concerned of the cleanliness of the kitchen, would have thought twice about ordering food if I had noticed before eating. Overall a good experience, but there are lots of music and drink venues in the area, so not sure this one gets us back again.

They had a bug in my food and it was disgusting and it toke a hour just for them to get my food

We had excellent service and food. Their hamburgers are great and I had the fish tacos which I tried and really enjoyed. A comfortable place for dinner.

First time at Goofys, cool atmosphere, nice employees. The burgers were good and I would recommend Goodys anytime you are in the Canyon Lake area.

Four of us walked in on a Friday night and it was pretty dead. They had a live band that was rocking out but it was so loud I couldn't even hear myself think and none of us could talk to each other at our table we had to scream at each other. I liked the band but my face was rattling from the volume so we all went outside instead which is where everyone else was. You'd think they would figure this out why is no one inside? Bleeding ear drums? We ordered the Nachos which were pretty damn good. The bartender girls are young and had attitudes except for one. Why are you asking me if I need anything and then when I say I do you get upset with me? Also bunch of old local dudes staring at our women. Pass.

4th of July around 6pm when we stopped by, and it was dead. Tons on flies inside the establishment, and short staffed were our only issue. Food was good!

Ordered to go .. with an hour wait for pick up .. food was hot and fresh when picked up .. ordered cheeseburger and onion straws ... onion straws were the best I have ever had .. burger was good ... they serve it in a sweet bun ... Buffalo wings were ordered ... they are the thick breaded kind ( which I don't like ) but they were big wings .. I would go back and try again .. just as a side note ... the ranch they serve was very good

I drive for Door Dash and they mess up the orders every time or they get deleted. Their food is pretty good, but from experience, don't order through Door Dash, until they can get it together! :(

**BEWARE** I got the worst case food poisoning I've had in over 20 years. I had the pork chop special and a side of fried green beans. The food wasn't good at all, even before I lost a week of work from food poisoning. The pork chop was crappy and the green beans tasted like old, gross grease. This place just sucks for food. Who knows about their drinks, I definitely won't be back under any circumstances...
