Such a beautiful campground! Great location right on the river and close to town without feeling like it. The pit toilets were clean and stocked. The shade structure was very nice. Group site B was a little spendy but spread out over a large group it was actually very reasonable. Highly recommend if you're bringing a number of families together!

Love this place! We go to Moab about every other year for a multi-day mountain biking excursion. I love that this place is next to town, next to the river, next to insane cliffs, next to the exit of the whole enchilada, next to Slick Rock! The campground is well maintained, though it has Vault toilets there kept clean. No running water, no electricity, of course. That's why we go there, to get away from all that! We floated the river and came out right at Camp one day.

The location is awesome. Your 1.5 miles from Moab main street turnoff. The views are beautiful. The smell and sounds are perfect. There are few shaded areas for tent camping. However, every night they have a river tour and they use a truck to light up the rock face for the boat tour. This truck drives slowly through the campground with stadium lights blasting through the camp site at .5 mph. Could've done without that.

If you are lucky enough to get a spot here, it is totally worth it. Come around noon when everyone is checking out, but if you get there at 2 or later, there won't be any open spots. Though it is difficult to get a spot, the campground is quiet (you don't hear traffic from the road at all) and had we thought ahead the water would have been perfect for paddle boards. This is now one of my favorite primitive camp sites.

A great first-come, first-served campground. Arrive early to have any chance of getting a site. Clean pit toilets. Right on the river with a huge cliff on the other side. Bike path to Moab is about 4 miles.

AMAZING!! this campsite was the highlight of our road trip. Sean was absolutely wonderful, he greeted us as soon as we pulled up to the campground and helped us find a spot for 3 days. We feel so blessed to get a spot right on the river with a gorgeous view and river access. We were in site 17 recommended by Sean, great spot! Thank you so much!!

What an awesome place to stay. Incredible view. A little bit of road noise through the night. Decent cell coverage if you need it, but you lose it just a short distance down the road.

Yelp
This was the perfect location! Close to the town/ surrounding hikes and right on the Colorado river. We arrived around 11am on a Thursday and got a walk up camping site (there were a few still available). There are 2 outhouses, our bathroom was very clean and well kept. There is no running water/sinks but they provide hand sanitizer. We could see the colorado river, however not all camp sites have the most clear view of it. There is a nice biking/ walking trail that you can take either way from the campsite. Don't forget bug spray as there is a lot of mosquitoes. There was plenty of room in our site for 2-3 tents.
