A friend told me about this beach. Even thought we don't live very far away, somehow we hadn't been. We visited off season on a unusually warm day. There was plenty of parking and no crowds. It is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. A great place if you like to walk the beach at the water line. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful beach, not too crowded. Not too rocky. The birds were fun to watch (specifically terns diving). Parking is pricey ($25 on the weekend) but I suppose it helps keep up the bird sanctuary so I didn't mind.

In Rhode Island, there's pretty much a beach for whatever mood you might be in. Ggoosewing stands out as one of the best general purpose beaches and is especially great because it's just a little too far from civilization (i.e. Providence] to ever be overly full of humans. Great sand, great surf, and *thanks to The Nature Conservancy* also great wildlife (except pooping dogs, YAY!).

As a child my mom and dad would take us kids to Goosewing beach several times a summer from Attleboro Mass. We used to hang out the windows of the car as we drove up the driveway when that was the access point because it was always so overgrown. We didn't really go there for the beach because of the rocks but the tide pools were always fun to explore. The best part about Goosewing and what drew us there was the clam digging in quicksand pond, that was a must. I am retiring this summer and was wondering if clam digging was allowed in Quicksand pond? I would love to bring my grandson for the experience. I am quite sure the answer is no but hey you never know. Anyone else have fond memories from the 60s to early 70s?

An okay Beach with a Sandy bumpy parking lot with good views of the water, not a bad place. Not a bad place to have a cup of coffee in the morning.
