Gopi Dining Hall

While the experience is enjoyable and a couple of the waiters are entertaining, the food is somewhat… boring. The menu is fabulous and the service is impeccable, they keep bringing rotis, accompaniments and beverages. But the sweetness in each dish is disappointing and unnecessary. For example, we had 3 4 sabzis and 1 kadhi/ dal. Every single item was sweet.

Lip smacking Gujarati food with the perfect authentic taste and choice of dishes. Added to the taste is the amazing hospitality who were not only serving but insisting on eating a little more, same like how parents do it to their kids. They know when to serve and when to stop, they don't force you to eat fast or clear tables. All dishes were served hot and fresh but my personal favourite was Mohanthal followed by Samosa 🤩 We also got unique type of variyali after the meal. We came here during lunch hours on a Monday and found a table instantly. Would recommend this to everyone 👍

My colleagues took me here during my trip to Ahmedabad. They are aware of ku love of local delicacies and thali and insisted I visit here. I was tempted to visit some of the large well known restaurants, but I can surely say I don’t have any regrets. The food was tasty and felt like home food for a change. Thee service was prompt and very warm and the price was economical. At the end I was quite satisfied with the food and do not mind to leave the large chains to come down here once again

Gopi Dining Hall is a very old and well-known Gujarati restaurant in Pritamnagar, Paldi, but unfortunately my recent experience was extremely disappointing.👎🏻 The taste of the food was third class and nowhere close to the reputation this place carries. Despite being such an established business, there is clearly a lack of maintenance and quality control.👎🏻 What made the experience worse was the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Two waiters were openly fighting and talking very loudly, which completely ruined the dining atmosphere.👎🏻 Paying ₹310 per plate without even a sweet felt like a total waste of money considering the quality, service, and overall experience.👎🏻 Sadly, this visit was the worst experience, and Gopi Dining Hall is no longer worth its name or price. 👎🏻

I was hope to get a fantastic gujarati meal but found the food to be very oily and very basic. While service was prompt but the restaurant, cutlery, food and the staff feel very tired and run down

Quality unlimited veg thali, the service was stellar. Please ensure you select the correct choice (incl/excl sweet) as there is a price differential.

Thali that you must try when in Ahmedabad. They serve Gujarati as well as Kathiawadi thali. Taste is too good. Variety of rotis (served hot) and vegetables. Staff is very nice, they help you with suggestions as per your likes/dislikes.
