An hour and a half drive from PE (last 50 mins is unsealed but sort of includes your "first game drive" as you enter the camp grounds) Gorah is an intimate, comfortable, impeccable service experience with the added bonus of most of the big 5 probable to be observed (you wont find Leopards in Gorah). Our tent was very luxurious, comfortable, spacious and well appointed with nice touches (such as sherry for a pre dinner tipple). I suggest you listen carefully to the shower instructions though as the team show you around your tent as it is a bit tricky to get right. Dining is a pleasure with attentive service and an excellent chef and team .. as the camp has few tents it is also a nice intimate experience in the main house for couples. When outside for breakfast or lunch keep an eye on the birds and monkeys as they are rather cheeky! The game drives are an early start (for sunrise) and early evening (for sunset) with plenty of of time to relax in the day .. we didn't try a walk but they can be arranged and also night drives. The wildlife is abundant (the waterhole at the front of the main house was a big draw and we observed all manner of large and small game day and night. We can't thank the team (Simone, Werner, Mavis, Donald in particular) enough for a fantastic few days with them and we hoep to be back soon.
