Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go

​I was so excited to finally try the food of TV's biggest chef, Gordon Ramsay! I planned this visit during my Hong Kong layover, coming from a long stay in Chengdu. ​We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Cheeseburger from Gordon Ramsay To Go. I will say the food looked good, but the taste was nothing special. Even the tartar sauce was bland for my taste. The burger was juicy, but I honestly can't say it was even better than Shake Shack. ​The prices are also quite steep—at around $20 USD per order, it felt like too much for the quality, even accounting for airport inflation. ​In short, given all the hype I had in my mind, Gordon Ramsay To Go was a bit of a letdown. If you want to try it for the experience, go ahead, but keep your expectations tempered.

October 2025 - even when airport food is notoriously pricey since flyers are captive market, anyone who is hungry has to triple his budget... not only for Gordon Ramsay customers but for all. Good thing food here is good... love the salad. Quick service too.

Food ordered: Beer battered Fish & Chips / Lasagna Crispy batter and soft fish on the inside. Came with a sauce, maybe tartar. And a lemon wedge. Chips are like fries but it’s hot. No complaint. The lasagna a bit dry though especially around the edges. Maybe due to the heating inside the oven over the time set. Both come with sodas of your choice. Probably I will try other food if I am there again

Gordon Ramsey Plain Food, no mistake in spelling. The food is over priced and very plain not quality at all. But it is quick because there is no line and few customers.

For airport food, it was way above average, fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. I ordered a takeaway meal, and it was perfect for a quick bite before boarding. The ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was packed neatly, making it easy to eat on the go. The quality really stood out, you can tell there’s a touch of Gordon Ramsay’s high standards in the food. The service was quick, and the staff were polite and efficient, which made the whole experience even smoother. The taste is good if you don’t mind about the non fresh salad leaves. The first time I saw so dark color. Mushrooms also were a little bit sluggish. Disappointed.

Heads-up for travellers at Hong Kong Airport: Just paid HK$53 (£5.15) for a "large" latte at Gordon Ramsay Plane Food - size felt more like medium. No prices shown upfront; you must ask. For comparison: same coffee at Heathrow is just over £4. Transparency matters. This outlet is pricey - be aware before ordering.

Nothing to complain but nothing to rave about the burger. Definitely overpriced. But try it out and see for yourself. Paid about CAD29 for burger, fries and drink.
