On the Grid : Petrogradskaya / Gor'kovskaya

"The history of St. Petersburg started with the Petrogradsky district. This area began in May 1703 when Peter and Paul Fortress was built here on Zayachy Island. At the moment, this is a great district of city, which was built on islands. We will tell you about the places, which are located near Petrogradskaya and Gor’kovskaya metro stations." - Hyperakt

Very easy to find because located in the cross section of the road. Location also near tram stop. Beautiful place and spot. For foreigner (who cannot speak and read Cyrillic), not to worry because Latin alphabets are everywhere. To make it easy to travel, I suggest you to download Yandex Metro from Apps Store or Play Store. Have fun in Saint Petersburg!

Горьковская Gorkovskaya is a metro or subway station in the city of Saint Petersburg. From this station, you can walk to several attractions in the vicinity including the Military Historical Artillery Museum, Elikan Park and Saint Petersburg Planetarium. Actually this is a regular metro station and the same as any other station, but this station has a unique shape that resembles a UFO.

Большой транспортный узел. Часы пик - рано утром (до 9:00) и вечером (18:00) FOR FOREIGNERS Big transport network node. Quite croweded sometimes. It also looks like a UFO - so don't be scared :-) Best station to go if you are visiting: zoo Peter and Paul Fortress Mosque Military Historical Museum of Artillery

«Горьковская» - пилонная станция с укороченным центральным нефом (залом) глубокого заложения (≈ 53 м), название в память о том, что в доходном доме Барсовой напротив наземного вестибюля станции в 1914–1921 годах жил русский писатель Максим Горький, его имя в 1932 — 1991 годах носил нынешний Кронверкский проспект. Для предотвращения затопления в связи с близостью реки Невы вестибюль находится на возвышении»,-цитата
