If you’re around, this place is definitely worth a stop. The village is super charming, and the food is simple but really well done. I had some amazing beef, cooked just right, and the lamb was just as tasty. The desserts were delicious too. Prices are fair for the quality, and the warm, friendly vibe makes you want to come back. It’s the kind of spot where you feel comfortable right away.

Probably the best meal we have had during our stay in Slovenia. Although the restaurant is nothing fancy (sitting on benches) the terrasse is very pleasant overlooking the creek with fresh air. The cuisine was surprisingly extremely fine and very elaborated for a "countryside restaurant in a little village". The harmony in the composition of main course dishes was perfect, which is not always the case in restaurants that claim to be creative and often pompous. We recommend the mushroom soup, the deer and the lam. Thank you to the waiter (owner ?) for his recommendation on wines which was most appropriate and allowed us to discover some great local wines. Not to be missed while in the area !

I asked to charge my bike, and they immediately offered it for free—amazing service! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The place is spotless, with modern, perfectly clean toilets. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Everything about this spot is just perfect—definitely a top place to visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely the best food I've had in Slovenia! Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu that made it hard to choose because everything sounded amazing. A must-visit for anyone who loves good food!

Gastro pub style food using local ingredients, perfectly executed. Also great view and a must if you love wines due to a great wine list featuring Slovenian wines with some exceptions, French champagne and Italian reds. Weekly changing list of wines by the glass. Special lunch dishes and children’s meals are also available. I haven’t seen the inside of the restaurant so ambience rating is for the outside terrace.

Delicious food, we ate the lamb and pork cheek, meat was fresh and so well cooked, the vegetable were perfect and the combination great. The wine our waiter recommended us was just perfect and in balance with the dishes. Service friendly, fast. One of the best place we ate in Slovenia, we will be back here. Price is fine, quality is just amazing. And an extra plus, the views are gorgeous.

A cozy local restaurant offering a wide range of homemade dishes, from Kranjska sausage and trout to steaks. The food is of high quality, although the prices are a bit higher. The warm, local ambiance and friendly staff make for a great dining experience.

Must try place. Beautiful dishes, try the 3-course menu, it’s very reasonably priced. Visited twice cause we had to try more of their food. Image of view from their terrace and local schnapps as there are already many pictures of their amazing food here on Google :)
