Room was secure, quiet and comfortable. Included breakfast was more than adequate. The restaurant within the hotel was good with a discount for residents. It was particularly convenient the night it rained!|The hotel is within easy walking distance of the bus/railway station and the historic centre.|My only small negative is that the curtains do not block out the light.|Strongly recommend the hotel.

This is a wonderful place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, clean spacious rooms, very convenient for transport links and the old centre. Great breakfasts, all fresh and lots of choices- or have it all including the daily fresh cake. If i ever come back to Ljubljana I'm staying here!!!

I was extremely disappointed with this old hotel in dire need of renovation, as you feel pulled back in time into the communist era. Paid more than 130.- per night for a room which wasn‘t worth 50.- and lacked basic ammenities. Examples are: no electric socket near bed, narrow bed covers not large enough for a bigger person, room stinks of naphtaline (or some weird room spray), old furniture,|tv doesn‘t work, small bathroom, no hair dryer, and unfriendly staff. And luggage storage isn’t supervised so you can just go inside and grab some luggage during the lunch break as the whole staff is working in the kitchen. Choose something else or even better : avoid boring Ljubljiana.

Will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to LJU. The owner and her daughter were so kind and accommodating. They made us a delicious breakfast. Great location. Highly recommend!

Gostilna Stari Tišler in Ljubljana is a great place to enjoy traditional Slovenian cuisine in a cozy, authentic atmosphere. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend the goulash and štruklji—they are truly exceptional. The location is excellent, close to the city center, making it a perfect spot for a break while exploring Ljubljana. Highly recommended!

My wife and I arrived right at check in time. We walked in the front door, saw the restaurant to ur left, then continued in further until we saw the reception room. At that point the woman working reception, greeted us and checked us in. We had a lovely chat, and she explained how entry to the hallways, and room, worked. Swipe cards are used to gain access to the hallways, and eventually your room. Good security. I apologize for not remembering her name, but the woman working reception, and also in the morning the breakfast room, was wonderful. Both ladies that we had contact with during our stay were very nice, and a joy to visit with. Our room was up a flight of stairs. The room was clean and comfortable. I did not care for the cleaning smell in the room, but I adjusted to it. Our beds were comfy. Everything worked well. And it was a very quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was very tasty. And the offer of making you a cup of cappuccino in the morning was appreciated. The hotel is located in a great area for visitors coming from the bus/train station ares. Very close. And then from the hotel you can walk all over the place. We walked everywhere. We had a wonderful visit. If the price were right, I would absolutely stay there again.
