Gotham City Swim School

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this program. My daughter has been enrolled in this program for one semester, and her swimming skills have dramatically improved. I’m amazed at the coaching from Rick and Gino, which has really helped my child improve her skills. Rick and Gino have been amazing with my child, and she looks forward to her weekly classes. My daughter has been taking lessons with Gotham Swim the last four months and has developed skills so much better and faster than other places we have used for lessons. The personalized lessons and attention the students receive are unparalleled and I definitely notice a difference from her previous instruction elsewhere. She loves going to class and the instructors are easy to talk to and get feedback from.

Gotham City Swim has been such a gift for our family. My 5-year-old has always been hesitant about the water, easily distracted, and resistant to new or challenging situations. We’ve tried other swim instructors before and never really saw progress—until Gotham. He has now worked with two instructors here, and both were able to meet him exactly where he was, using just the right blend of humor, patience, firmness, and warmth. Not only is he actually swimming across the pool and jumping in on his own, but he now loves going to swim lessons—something that used to be a fight every week. Our 2-year-old has also taken lessons, and the team has been just as thoughtful with him. I really appreciate their honesty and flexibility—they genuinely evaluated what was best for him and recommended different approaches and breaks when he needed them. That kind of integrity is rare and says so much about who they are. We couldn’t recommend Gotham City Swim more highly!

SO grateful for Gotham. We take a water baby class with Alex, and it is truly the highlight of our week. I didn’t think it was possible for my baby to really learn how to swim, but she is already going under water without any issues. Alex is enthusiastic, patient, and sings songs for the entire lesson. The owners and the rest of the team are passionate, personable, and hands on. Can’t wait to come back!

Miles, Rick, and the team at Gotham City Swim are absolutely fantastic. The instructors really take the time to get to know your kids, make sure they feel safe and are having fun, and really make sure they're grounded in the fundamentals of swimming. Both my kids get excited when it's time for swimming lessons; I can't recommend them highly enough.

Before doing after school with Gotham Swim, my son Julian never liked getting into the pool. He always feared the water. Within a few weeks of being at Gotham Swim, his instructor Rick got him to swim under water. I highly recommend this program!

I found Gotham Swim through a google search. One there, I could see right away that the team of instructors at Gotham Swim had a good progressive system to teach adults how to swim. They started with the very basics and soon I had the confidence and skills to swim. I appreciate all the coaches but I primarily worked with Alex who was a great instructor and always had great tips that were simple yet effective. Miles is great as well and the communication to arrange training times was easy and effective. I definitely recommend Gotham Swim for any adult who wants to learn to swim.
