Everything was amazing, really enjoyed the stay here. The staff were friendly and the internal was really cozy and gothic. It was very quiet and relaxing and overall such a nice experience. Will be coming back here 100%. The bath in the family room was also really nice, perfect for a romantic weekend. This is also located almost in the middle of the old town and it is so easy to walk everywhere from here.

Great hotel, with very clean rooms and friendly staff. The location was perfect in the old town, just off Piwna St., or as my Uber driver called it Beer Road. Highly recommend staying here if you are considering staying in Gdańsk.

This is a very comfortable and stylish hotel that is located in the heart of the old town. Rooms were very clean and staff on reception was exceptionally helpful. The only downside I might think of was that outside noise could leak through the windows. Other than that, perfect stay in Gdańsk 👌

Beautiful hotel with lots of history (we even met Rick Steves outside our hotel). We opted for the family size room as it was only a few dollars more per night when booked through Expedia. The room was large, modern and had an amazing view of St. Marys basilica right outside your window. Easy to get to the hotel via Uber from the airport. The Staff were very polite and even spoke English, so that was helpful. There was no air conditioning, but there was a big fan available in the room and the windows opened up to get a nice breeze in the evenings. You are located right in the heart of old town and the street is filled all the beautiful amber shops. There's a wonderful eclair coffee shop right next door and just a 1-2 minute walk to the river front with all the popular restaurants. Great stay.

The building itself is truly impressive, situated on what is arguably Gdansk's most beautiful street, adjacent to St. Mary's Basilica. While the rooms are basic, they offer a pleasant stay with compact yet functional bathrooms. However, the writing desk is quite small and may not be ideal for working with your laptop. Each guest is provided with only one large towel (without face towels), but slippers are included. The rooms feature a kettle, although there is no coffee machine. It's worth noting that if there are more than two guests in a room, it can become quite cramped, especially when the sofa bed is opened, making it difficult for others to move around. Breakfast is served at a restaurant just around the corner, starting at 9:00. If your plans require an earlier start, you might miss breakfast, as alternatives that open earlier in the area are scarce (we couldn't find any). The restaurant offers a couple of set breakfast options, which are decent if not exceptional, and the service there is good.

A fantastic long weekend. All the better for staying in Gotyk House. 1st class service and a great place to stay. Perfect for reaching all the attractions, bars and restaurants. I'd also recommend booking your transfer to and from the airport via Gotyk House as they put on a perfect service. Will be back 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇩

What a beautiful hotel! Located in a historical house (in fact, the oldest surviving residential building in Gdansk), the hotel includes a new addition. My room was located in the new part, but it was seamlessly designed to look like the older section, with a wonderfully designed interior that included plaster molding and exposed brick, along with a Juliette balcony that looks out over a small square by the cathedral that made it the perfect place to kick up your feet and just take in this beautiful historic city. I loved the loft aspect of the hotel, and the bedroom had a nice view that included the town hall tower... and it offered a nice 'perk'... a wake up call to beautiful bell chimes! Can't recommend this place enough.

Yelp
I stayed here a while ago while in Gdansk for a wedding. I chose this hotel for it's rich history and adorable rooms, I was not disappointed! Unfortunately, when we arrived there had been some confusion and our room had been given away. Apparently an American lady (with a name so ridiculously similar to mine it was shocking!) had asked about room availability and was told her room was ready! During all the rigmaroll of figuring out what had just happened the staff were consistently patient and apologetic. The manager arrived in a few minutes and declared that he would drive us to an apartment just over the river and drive us back the next day for breakfast. The apartment was fantastic and we couldn't believe our luck! The next day, the manager showed up right on time and brought us for our breakfast on the small terrace outside the hotel, overlooking Mariacka Street, which is definitely the prettiest street in Gdansk. Our room was The Artus Court. I was a bit put out that the beds were two single beds pushed together, but otherwise the room was lovely. Just as cute as the pictures on the website! The rest of our stay was completely trouble free. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient and the manager is absolutely hilarious and very personable. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay while seeing the sites of Gdansk!
