My boyfriend and I were walking around the area and spotted this place and decided to pop in for a bite. The place was packed but we were managed to get a table fairly quickly. Wow! The food was absolutely delicious! Burgers were so yummy! Staff were super friendly and service was quick. Would definitely come back here again when in Dublin.

Enjoyed the burgers, fries and drinks here. Service was quick, and the ambience was nice and cozy. Very conveniently located in the Temple Bar area.

This restaurant has everything you could want: a fantastic location, clean, courteous, and responsive service. The cuisine was the thing that we disliked the most. Everything was bland, including the charred chicken and really dry burgers. prices are a little lower than normal, but if I can save this much, I'd rather pay more.

Google
Good vegetarian burger option we have here, my wife tried Falafel Burger and I had Chick Chick Boom Chicken burger. The vegetarian burger was good and so was the chicken burger. Next time I'm going to try their other spicy burger with Habanero sauce. GBK onion rings were good too.

I visited Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK), and my experience was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and carefully prepared, offering a wide variety of options. The dishes I ordered were tasty and beautifully presented, especially [.chicken wings As for the service, it was excellent. The staff was friendly and professional, welcoming us with a smile and being helpful throughout our visit. The service was fast and well-organized, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and pleasant, with elegant decor and a calm environment suitable for families and friends. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience! I wanna thank Victoria for her service, kindness and keep up the hard work Thank s for all

Google

Google
Had the best gourmet burger ever. So fresh, tasty and excellent price. Had the Rocketman (spicy but not too hot) and Mighty. The staff wete friendly and prompt. Nice vibe and extremely clean. See you soon!

Google
This restaurant offers everything you could want: a fantastic location, cleanliness, and courteous, responsive service. The staff made special arrangements to customize a VEG burger, which was a nice touch. While everything was tasty, all four burgers we ordered tasted nearly the same. Additionally, the prices are too high for a burger and not worth the taste.

Yelp
Great burger joint in the center of Temple Bar Area of Dublin City Centre. Fantastic food. I got the mini burger option. I chose bunless and it came with ample amount of slaw & leafy greens. My family did choose a bun and the burger came with butter lettuce. I love this ! No generic romaine or iceberg lettuce ! The fries are fat & chose regular or rosemary. Love this! Ea plate was about 14 euros.

Yelp
Now this place was surprisingly good. We were walking around Temple Bar and we could smell burgers. The best smelling burgers ever. They tasted good too. And we devoured the fries with chicken. If you need a change from all the typical bar food, I recommend this place

Yelp
Had dinner here with a colleague while in Dublin for work. This GBK is located in the middle of Temple Bar. You order and pay at the counter before finding a seat with your "number". I ordered their bacon cheeseburger cooked medium with a fried egg. Delicious juicy burger that was so tall that it was difficult to get a bite in! The onion rings are coated with a crispy batter and are exactly how I like them. We sat in the covered patio area where you can "people watch" while you eat. All-in-all a great place to grab a burger when in Dublin.

Yelp
Dang the food here was good! My friend and I had been craving a burger and were going to go to Bunsen, but the wait was too long and the food looked just okay. We opted for this location instead and were not disappointed. We got the veggie burger (bean patty) and fries and it was sooooooo worth it. If you come hungry, you will definitely be satisfied. The prices were decent and the portions were good, the only annoying bit is that you have to go to the bar to order with your table number, but aside from that? It was great!

Kristen H.

Yelp
Great find on a busy evening - this spot has great outdoor seating and delicious menu choices. We loved the satay chicken, classic veggie and classic cheeseburger. Their rosemary chips were delicious as was the fresh and fizzy lemongrass and ginger drink. Service was spectacular! Thanks

Caroline T.

Yelp
Hands down the best burger I found while in Dublin (yes, I was that American who sought out a burger while overseas). Ordering is fast and the menu is a breeze to navigate. The staff will give you a numbered placeholder so the servers can bring your order to you. We went during the day, so I can't vouch for how crowded it gets at night/before the Temple Bar crowds start. Tip: The bathroom is SMALL and easily rivals the room under the staircase Harry Potter lived in

Phillip N.

Yelp
Great food and ample servings. Really appreciate the bunless option on our keto lifestyle. Very helpful and courteous staff. They were very diligent with food sensitivities.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday night at around 8:30 because we were craving burgers. Nothing extraordinary. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger (they don't do medium rare in Ireland...hope it's not because of the horse meat situation. Oh well!) and hei hei fries. Apparently, hei hei is some sort of seasoning but the fries didn't taste like there was any flavor at all. It was so bland. The only good thing? Order two burgers and get two beers for 5 Euros!

Yelp
I've been a fan of GBK since 2010. As a vegetarian, I always love to see restaurants offer really good alternatives to the meat options, as it's normally always just a vege patty which is usually a Bird's Eye frozen type of thing. The Billy Burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Ever. Back in 2010-13 it consisted of a huuuuge deep fried breadcrumbed goats cheese wheel, grilled aubergine, sun dried tomatoes and rocket salad. It's just absolutely amazing. I honestly struggled to suggest anywhere else to go to eat out because I loved this burger so much! They used to have a 2-for-1 student offer too, which meant you could go with a friend and split the bill. It was honestly the best place. Then something happened in 2013, maybe a switch in management, or a new company had taken over? Either way, they changed the Billy Burger into something awful. I tried it and hated it and stopped coming here. Until recently, I tried it again, and managed to get the Billy Burger sans all the new horrible additions, and it tasted much like the burger I used to know and love. This place is exactly how it looks. It's like a posh McDonald's in my opinion. The staff are okay with the odd exception of a rude or fed up staff member, there's free refills on their drinks which is actually great, the starters/sides are okay but never really worth it, but really, it's all about the burgers here. If you're a vegetarian, or you just love big lumps of cheese, I would recommend the Billy Burger to you any day.

Yelp
So there we are, hungry as hell... 1* For the location : It is in Temple bar, the cross roads between Grafton street and Henry street, and the meeting point for tourists or simply pub lovers! 1* For the restaurant : for some reason it is always busy but I always get a table. How awesome is that? 1* For the food : the meat is well done, the fries are the perfect size and crispy texture, the tomatoes are red, the lettuce is green, everything has the right color and taste - that is very important to me :) 1* for the people : all the waitresses/waiters are very amicable and it actually compensates for the waiting time. Minus 1* For the waiting time : as much as I like the place, there is one thing that puts me off a bit, especially when I am super hungry, it is the waiting time. I usually have time to forget what I have ordered and drink my entire glass of water/coke by the time the food arrives on my table. It's frustrating, let's put it that way. Is it a strategy to get us drink more? I don't know but it's working. Every time I promise myself it's the last time I eat there, but then I walk by hungry on a cheat day and go anyway. I am 100% certain I will go back because the food is really nice, but maybe not when I am really hungry ;)

Raven R.

Yelp
No wait time to get food on a Friday night- now that's my kind of place. I hate going to a new country and you can't get in anywhere to eat because you needed a reservation. Workers are also amazingly friendly! The good was delicious: California burger, rosemary fries, and onion rings. These were the best onion rings I've ever had. The hard cider is also very good. This place is a win!

Emily L.

Yelp
Two words: courgette fries. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and their milkshakes are to die for! Only complaint is that there's a lot of oil used in the process which can leave your stomach feeling a little heavy, plus the space is very small but well decorated. Overall, highly recommend?

Conor L.

Yelp
Great Burger :-) Extremely friendly staff. The Mighty Burger is very large. As tall as a pint. €10 Meal deal at lunch.

Jo M.

Yelp
You can't beat a fresh, juicy, healthy burger. McDonalds tries but fails, and where McDonalds fails, Gourmet Burger Kitchen succeeds. Comes through with flying colours. These burgers are divine! GBK is a chain that was started by a bunch of Kiwis (they have some great ideas that us Aussies usually steal, but we haven't claimed this as ours yet!) You can find GBK smack bang in the middle of Temple Bar, and there are also branches in William St and Anne St South. The burgers don't come cheap (prices start from around 10 euro) but they are so mouthwateringly good! I can only justify lowering my standards to the Supermacs or Burger King level after a few pints, so GBK is the sober man's burger fix. Try the chicken burger with extra avocado, or the chicken burger with camembert, or even the regular cheeseburger.... hmmmmm! I've been there several times and have always left satisfied and extremely full! Tip for those whose eyes are bigger than their stomachs: the burgers are MASSIVE! The chips are good, but unless you are a garbage disposal maybe share with a friend? Also, they offer smaller burgers for the less ambitious, and not just for the kiddies (a good way to go if you don't have a big appetite on you). The tomato-shaped ketchup holders are adorable, and they even have Steinlager beer (much to my Kiwi friend's delight). TheTemple Bar branch has a lovely outdoor section which is very pleasant on a warm Summer's evening.

Yelp
If you like burgers and discover new things, that is one of the place you gotta go in Dublin! It is well located and the service is pretty fast. Nevertheless, the burgers' prices are ok but it doesn't come with fries, you have to order separately and it is obviously more expensive this way... Waiters were ok but not super smiling! A good place to go though!

Ryan L.

Yelp
I went to the Temple Bar location for dinner the evening of Saturday, October 17th. I traveled to Dublin alone for the weekend and just wanted to find a quick bite as my flight from Chicago had arrived earlier that morning. I ordered the cheese and bacon burger which featured Irish beef, Irish cheese, bacon, mayo, lettuce, BBQ sauce, on a sesame seed bun. I also ordered a small Caesar salad which came out first. The salad was good. The dressing wasn't as sharp as I was expecting but I enjoyed it...until I found a hair in it when I was 90% done with it. Ugh... The burger then arrived and it looked good. At first I wasn't sure they brought me the right meal because it had a chutney-like BBQ sauce. Not what I was anticipating but then again I wasn't fond of the taste of it. I scraped most of the sauce off with a knife and it ended up being a pretty decent burger! The staff were polite, helpful, and the food was good. I'd go with 2 stars. A burger has gotta be pretty damn good to get 4 stars and unfortunately this wasn't. The burger deserves 3 stars BUT the hair in the salad brings it all down.

Nick S.

Yelp
GBK in the UK is generally pretty good. Not *Byron* good, mind you, but decent enough to merit a visit above McDonalds and other fast food. That being said, this Dublin location is a bit lackluster, even for GBK. For starters, it's busy as hell in the evening. It's in Temple Bar Square, so that's not exactly shocking. But the service and quality of food is. Slow service I can deal with, but a charred burger is unacceptable. At 10 EUR for a 6 oz. bacon cheeseburger, I expect more.

G. B.

Yelp
Good burgers. Roughly 8-12 euros for a burger... 3.5 for fries/chips... Menu had a small array of interesting burgers and other sandwiches... they even had vegetarian/vegan options. Outside/inside dining options... Clean spacious facility. The key word here is "facility." Of all the folks working there, only one bothered to demonstrate any warmth or customer service. She wasn't my original waitress, but she stepped in and took over for her grumpy, unhelpful co-worker. So, 5 stars for the young petite brunette and 2 stars for the rest of the experience.

Nathan N.

Yelp
Decent place the burger was alright. Burger came well done without even asking. Fries were good and wings were honestly just okay. If you want a quick burger would definitely give it a try

Ashley S.

Yelp
YUM! YUM! YUM! All of our food was delicious! everyone that works there was very kind and helpful. They have free refills on the fountain drinks, but I would recommend the cider! DELISH! It was very clean, and right smack dab in the center of Temple Bar! Their sauces are superb as well! I would recommend this place to anyone. :]]] HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Juan R.

Yelp
Great place with a nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and GREAT burgers right in the heart of Temple Bar. Also, very good value for your money. Pulled Pork burger is so yummy I could eat two in a row. The meat is great, the sauce is nice and the Brioche bun (this one comes with the burger for no extra charge) is delicious. The onion rings are BIG. And I mean REALLY BIG. I've never had rings this huge but the best thing is they are very tasty, you actually can taste the onion and there are some finesse about the way they are cooked. Also the aioli sauce is very good (in Spain we call it "ali-oli"). Handcut Fries are very good and a safe bet. And you can't leave without trying one of their milkshakes. The Oreo one is just crazy-tasty (they should brand it as Crazy-Tasty!). Now I gotta get back to try the BEEF burgers!

Tuscany M.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and nice greeters. I notice we have these restaurants here in the states but I've never bothered to stop in. The food was great, slightly overpriced and we had slow service. I ordered the grilled chicken burger, side of mushrooms and my friend had the veggie burger. The burgers are small but very tasty and the cream sauce served with the mushrooms was pretty good. I'd certainly eat here again if I was in the mood for an upscale overpriced kid size burger. However, the ingredients are of good quality so its worth it.

Tamara C.

Yelp
I first tried GBK on a visit to London and they quickly became my favorite place for a delicious burger. Happy to say their quality and taste are still as satisfying at their Temple Bar location in Dublin. I brought along two friends who had never had GBK and was a bit worried I had overhyped their expectations but they were blown away with their choice of burgers and every one left stuffed with yumminess.

Rod H.

Yelp
Great burgers. Good wine. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices and late night service make this a hit.

Jenna G.

Yelp
Was kind of a weird visit to GBK - their heaters were not working which was obviously not the normal experience but was still a little odd. I ordered coffee which came out lukewarm and didn't taste that great anyway, although I guess one doesn't really go to GBK for the coffee! Burgers were great - I got the Don and my friend got the Mighty - really hit the spot with a little more flair than Bunsen down the road (also a good choice). And although the fries/chips were only mediocre, the aioli dressing we got (forgot what it was called - but had bacon in it) was absolutely fantastic. It was pretty quiet when we went at around 6 but livened up a little as time went on. Granted, was also a week night in Temple Bar so not the busiest of nights! Good location anyway, right in Temple Bar square! Would love to come back when we and the waitresses are not all human icicles.

Stephen C.

Yelp
Even though my experience from GBK in this location is about two years old the memory is still fresh enough to recall the poor experience. Visited at about 2pm one weekend, the place was quite but there was clearly a lot of staff on. The waitress came across as rude, it seemed like we where an inncovenience during a conversation with a co-worker rather than actual customers. Now the 1 out of 5 isn't just based on this, my burger arrived at the table the first time and was completely wrong. Then followed by the second go around being burnt to a charcoal ! Gourmet Burger Kitchen @ Temple Bar square gets one award at least, claiming my worst burger in Dublin award. Be a hard push for me to ever return.

Victoria C.

Yelp
I was here when my family came to visit me in Dublin, it was late and we were all hungry. I wanted to take them to bunsen but of course we couldn't get a table so GBK it was. I had a burger with no bun because GBK does not offer GF buns that was actually totally fine and it was delicious. The fries were good and that bacon mayo was like another level! The service was really nice and I will come back here for sure if only for the fries and bacon mayo! I was pleasnetly surprised.

Kari S.

Yelp
It was our first day in town and we had been wandering around Dublin looking for a dinner spot we could agree upon...which proved to be a difficult task. Then, with great relief, we happened upon this downtown location. Burgers. Who doesn't like a burger? I got the small puy lentil burger and a side mixed-leaf salad. My friend got a Jamaican something with red sauce that no longer appears to be on the menu. Her burger looked like vomit between two buns. However, she loved it and licked her fingers clean after nothing was left on her plate. My puy lentil burger was savory and warm. It fulfilled all burger-craving needs without accompanied heaviness and for only 5Euro. We also split, subsequently demolished, an order of chunky gbk fries. The fries were perfectly done with crisp skin and soft, mushy centers. The only disappointment was the dipping sauce for the fries- a sweet chili sauce that was neither spicy nor sweet. The only adjective apt to describe it would be "red." It was as if something had gone wrong that day with the ketchup and they were trying to pawn it off as something else. And, to add insult to injury the sauce was more than half the price of the fries (although the first sauce really should be complimentary). In general, although I found their prices reasonable, the prices for burger or sauce "add-ons" was ridiculous and nonsensical. 2.1 Euro for mushrooms but 1.75 Euro for avocado. I know avocados can't be grown locally although mushrooms are...whatever. Their core menu has lots of tasty options to satisfy most any pallet.

Ej S.

Yelp
the first time i went in here with my mind on reviewing it i would have given it 4 stars as the staff were friendly, quick and professional. the food i ordered, with changes (no relish, no baps) was delicious, exactly what i ordered and was brought to me without any delay. the second time i went in i ordered the exact same thing. this time the waitress looked at me like i was an idiot when i asked for 'no relish, no baps'. the food took almost 25 minutes to arrive and had both baps and relish. i sent it back and it took a further 7 minutes to come back. the staff (apart from the first waitress) was very professional on the floor BUT the kitchen is partly on view to the diners and in there the staff were a bit too loud and unprofessional. arguing, shouting and mocking each other and it was a bit much to have to listen to it while trying to relax over dinner. over all the food is very yummy but the staff and atmosphere is very hit an miss.

Orla H.

Yelp
I'm disappointed in you GBK. Going to visit you when I lived in Manchester was such a treat, the staff were always friendly and the food was always delicious. When you opened in Dublin, the experience wasn't as good but a close second. After a couple of years in Dublin your temple bar branch has degraded into a high class McDonalds. Dirty, noisy, people coming in off the street to use the bathroom and leave again. The menu has slimmed down a lot too, where's the halloumi side dish? Where's the pestarella burger? Your staff don't bother to tell people about the "meal deal" when they arrive and then ignore customers for ages. The food is medicore at best, the chips are waxy and the burgers tough. Tut tut GBK.

Dave H.

Yelp
For a franchise, GBK does very well. The food is tasty, and the menu is really varied. Instead of trying to shoot for the middle, GBK throws a lot of stuff at the wall and sees what sticks. Some of the food is delicious, like the puy lentil burger, or the lamb burger with mint sauce. Other stuff, like the Kiwi burger (beetroot and an egg on a beef burger) is a bit of an "acquired" taste. By acquired, I mean you'd need the tastebuds of a hobo to enjoy it. Their spot in Temple Bar deserves a special shout-out though, for being on the top of their game this weekend. It was packed on account of the pre-Xmas rush, and they were really struggling to get everything out. They were still incredibly cheery and kept us informed about when our food would be ready. It wasn't perfect, but the difference between knowing your food is going to be late and not knowing is massive.

Reid Y.

Yelp
I've had better. I was pretty unimpressed when they told me they only cook burgers medium-well at the very least. Needless to say, I was already drinking a beer and have a problem leaving a restaurant in a hissy fit, so I went ahead and ordered a burger, medium-well, of course, with avocado and added the addition of sweet red pepper. Plus fries and garlic mayo dipping sauce. This, turned out to be a lot of food. The fries were nice and crisp. The burger was a bit too cooked around the edges, but the red pepper and avocados worked out nicely. Not bad for an establishment right in the thick of the Temple Bar scene.

David F.

Yelp
Alone in Dublin. Can't be bothered cooking. Need food, preferably food that is probably bad for me. GBK fits the bill. Typical vertiginous burger with cheese and bacon, fries and a couple of pints of Golden Nectar. Nothing special but hits the spot. Joint buzzing as well so they must be doing something right.

Heather H.

Yelp
Ugh, no. I waited for ages for a veggie burger and rosemary fries. Fried mush in a bun. Mushy mushy inedible mushiness. There wasn't much going on with sauces either, so I ordered the garlic mayo to deal with the dry bun. It's an extra euro and you don't get much more than a thimble full. The fries were okay, but there's nothing special about fries with a rosemary garnish. They were kind of dry too, so once I figured out the plastic tomato on the table was ketchup, I drowned everything in it. Still though, I couldn't finish my meal. It was bleh. I waited and waited for my check, then watched as two other tables got up and asked for it directly. It's the only way to turn this joint into a bad memory.

J M.

Yelp
This was my review as posted on TripAdvisor in September 2010: On my last night (Monday September 6) in Dublin, I had a burger craving and remembered GBK being in Temple Square. It was raining out, so the crowd was sparse. I eventually decided on the avocado bacon burger (10 euros) with fries (3 more euros). It did come out the way I ordered it, but the bun was a little stale. I ended up tossing the top bun and ate the burger with fork & knife as an open-face burger. It was a little disappointing considering I really wanted to eat at Hard Rock Cafe up the street (and their burgers never fail). At least the service was pretty good. If you pay with a credit card, you can't put a tip. You'd have to tip your server separately in cash.

Mike C.

Yelp
There's nothing gourmet about this place. The burgers don't taste that good and are dry. You can get a much tastier burger in any number of pubs in the are. I've been twice to this place and the service at this location is terrible. They take your order deliver the food and you never see them again. The second time they never brought me fries which I ordered. You should avoid this place.

Tammy Tara H.

Yelp
The name is a bit misleading. The burgers were decent not gourmet or great. The Halloumi Bites were good as well as the cajun chicken pieces. In fact, they were better than the burgers. I had the chicken avocado bacon and my chicken, in my opinion, was tough and chewy. We ordered hei hei fries and the ones they first brought out were plain. So, we had to wait for the right ones to come. My boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich plain, no salad or sauce. Sure enough, they brought it out with salad on it. Wait once again. When we were finally done, we must have sat there 15 minutes, no plates, coats on, and no one bothered to bring us the bill-we had to ask for it.

Pamela S.

Yelp
We ate here and really enjoyed the toppings. We sat outside and our waitress was very attentive!

Tomás S.

Yelp
Burguers were a bit on the burned side. Took two types of french fries (normal and rosemary ones) and they both tasted the same... Oreo milkshake was good, couldn't say the same about the strawberry one. A bit expensive for what it is, probably due to the location in the Temple Bar Square.

Pauline B.

Yelp
Went here for lunch with my sister, both armed with student cards, we orderd the student deal for €6.50 (chicken or beef classic burger, served with chips or small Caesar salad), This can be orders with a bottomless drink for an extra €1.50. Any extras for the burgers are charged at 50c and sauces €1 each. We ordered at approx 1:35 and it was just before 2pm before our food was served, it was busy but not full at the time. The food was good, but the delay in getting it to the table was a little longer than I would have hoped for. All in all the food can't be faulted, the service was good with the exception of the delay in the food being served. One tip is that the chicken burgers are breaded, and not butterfly chicken breasts, which some GBK's serve.

Sampson H.

Yelp
The burgers are very tasty and you get a large portion, but that's not why I'm reviewing it. My wife and I ordered hot chocolate, and no joke, that was the best hot chocolate I've ever had in my whole life. Alice is a hot chocolate guru. She should teach classes. The service was also phenomenal.

Sinaoife A.

Yelp
I mean it's fine. The student deal is good because it's cheap but if that didn't exist definitely wouldn't come here. The burgers are too small and not that nice to begin with. One time my burger bun was so soggy that it literally disintegrated in my hands.

Carsen T.

Yelp
Staff is so nice and the food is so fresh and delicious. I'm visiting from the states and their Taxi burger is the best I've ever tasted.

Heather L.

Yelp
Normally GBK gets a more stars than this because I love their burgers... ok it is really just the Mexican Burger. However, this location is getting docked stars for the service. Things started out ok, but declined throughout the night. I have to say the fries were different from what I've had at different chains, but I really liked them. Very crispy on the outside with some herbs and things on the top. When I went to pay, the lady who had been serving me swiped my card (yes, the U.S. still hasn't figured out the chip and pin and thus it causes me many a problem wherever I go in Europe) and a print out came up with the total in dollars. She went to get another waitress since she didn't seem to know what was happening. The second waitress was rude and very short with me saying that it kept coming up in dollars and that they couldn't do that. I asked, since I have seen this at other stores, if there was an option to pay in the local currency or the home currency and she very rudely told me that wasn't possible. So she told me that I would have to go and get cash and pay. As a last ditch attempt, I thought I would try my company card since it is a British card and usually it is just the American card that has the problem. She swiped it and got even more agitated when it offered the total in GBP. She stormed away and the guy next to me had even remarked on their rudeness and how ridiculous it was that they couldn't take foreign cards being in the heart of the very touristy Temple Bar area. And I know that I have paid with my card there before because it is always at the end of my trip and I usually don't have any more cash on me. Instead of walking out and just leaving, I went next door to the ATM and got cash, only to have to wait another 20 minutes to pay my bill. I was worried that if they didn't know how to carry out that transaction, that more than likely they also didn't know or didn't properly cancel the three times they swiped my card, so I emailed the company about my experience. The owner of the franchise did apologize and said that they had switched over to a new system and obviously needed to retrain their staff. In addition to that, he sent me a €15 voucher. I don't know if I'll eat at the one in Temple Bar again, but I'll still eat at GBK. And yes, when I fill out the extra questions, I will probably put a "Not Sure" for Accepts Credit Cards...

Yelp
Not great, the burger was ok, but small (and I ordered the large size). Waited ages for food, all this wasn't a huge issue, the big disappointment was - the fries. The chips are just disgusting here, I had the hand cup fries and my fellow diner had the rosemary fries both were really oily and tasted like cheap old potatoes. It was very unpleasant, oil oil and more oil. No thanks. If you want an amazing burger place go to 'the counter', not here.

Yelp
Had the lamb burger, which was a little dry. Did not have a strong lamb flavor. Kind of over priced. Paid 8 Euros for a small portion of chips/fries.

Yelp
I am not a big meat eater but sometimes you just have those meat cravings, especially during a shopping marathon with your friends you need energy to keep up the bargain hunt. So we decided to have our lunch/shopping break at Gourmet Burger Kitchen the other day. We all got the meal deal with is a burger, fries and a drink for 9,95€ which is a pretty good price for the quality and amount of food we got. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they definitely know their food. Considering my allergies I had to get an celiac option which pretty much was no bun but I got extra salad and got a free avocado topping on my burger which was really nice, because I am mostly quite picky regarding guacamole but it was creamy with nice chunks and freshly made. The burger I ordered was juicy and satisfied my beef cravings. The homemade fries were topped with rosemary and some sea salt. All in all we really enjoyed our lunch break and probably will get back there soon, because the GBK in Temple bar is perfectly located between the north and south side

Yelp
Bought an avocado and bacon burger here, and I was extremely impressed. The burger was not sloppily piled on the plate, but cleanly stacked and speared with a cocktail stick to prevent collapse. It was not that wide, and with enough force you can squeeze it down and fit it in your mouth. Bacon was slightly burnt but other than that no complaints. Burger was delicious, with enough choice on the menu to warrant a second visit. Also free re-fills on soft drinks! Yes please! Staff were friendly, but place was so busy we had to sit for at least 20 minutes before a waiter could take our bill and give us change. Overall, excellent gourmet burger joint, and lives up to gourmet label!

Yelp
I ate at GBK last weekend during a trip to Dublin. I would probably rate it a 3.5 if I could. Even though it seemed to be a chain restaurant (I know there are at least a few other locations in Dublin) it had a nice atmosphere about it, and this particular restaurant is very conveniently located right in the Temple Bar area. GBK has a somewhat large menu with many different burger, sandwich & salad options. They have a special €10 lunch deal that includes a burger (they indicate which ones are included in the deal) and an appetizer, which is a pretty good deal in an expensive city like Dublin. Drinks and fries are not included in the price of the lunch deal or any entree price. Most of the burgers are around €8-12, appetizers are about €3-5, same for drinks. I think the milkshakes cost €4.50. I really enjoyed the sweet potato burger I ordered (I think it was called the Kumara?). It was really tasty, not bland at all, and kept me full for hours. I also had a peanut butter milkshake which was delicious! I especially enjoyed the big lump of unblended peanut butter at the bottom! The service was a little slow and frantic - the servers seemed understaffed and stressed - but they let us sit and chat at the table for a long time, which was nice of them. GBK is a nice option if you're in Temple Bar looking for something other than fish & chips. :)
