Government House of Maryland

An absolutely picturesque state capitol full of history and beautiful architecture! I'm so glad we finally stopped in for a self-guided tour.

So proud of our beautiful Governor's Mansion. Always a pleasure to be welcomed, I had not been inside since being a Commissioner, on the Governor of Maryland's Commission for Hispanic Affairs (back in the day). Was super happy to catch up with Governor Hogan and tell him personally how pleased I was with the impact his vision has had in Maryland, through the Department of Commerce. Also picked up a beautiful, custom-designed Foundation Holiday ornament designed by Maryland's first lady, and artist, Yumi Hogan.

Very interesting place to visit, alot history in the building. Its located in downtown Annapolis so shops are nearby as well.

Interesting history and nice internal architecture. There is good signage with information - and one room with interactive display screens. Unfortunately the screens were glitching significantly. No staff around but there was a very friendly security guard.

Very nice historical place

We had a very nice time meeting Governor Hogan and First Lady Hogan. Gov. Hogan is a mover and a shaker. He gets things done. My kind of guy. He is productive. I love that in a politician. He is so down to earth and has such a great spirit. Thank you for inviting us into your home - very beautiful.

On a beautiful and historic street and harbor. Good place to spend the evening with the family. Pleasant and well paved walking trail around the shore. Nice restaurants around.

Love the winter open house every year. Cookies, wasil, ornament, music, beautiful house. Wonderful event.
