It’s been 3 years since I moved to Australia, but I must say this is the best sunrise spot I’ve ever seen. The place is beautifully maintained—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped with huts, washrooms, tables, and chairs, making it perfect to relax and spend as much time as you want. There are plenty of walking tracks to explore as well. While weekends can get busy, just a short 3-minute walk on the left-side track will lead you to a quieter spot where you can truly enjoy some “me time.

A scenic lookout with a 180 degree view of the Blue Mountain range. You can see the valley stretch out endlessly with cliffs, forest, and sky, all blending into one amazing view. Excellent place to relax take in the beauty of nature.

Visited Govetts Leap Lookout on a rainy day for my first hike, and honestly, the weather made it even more magical. The mist, fresh air, and gentle rain brought out the peaceful and raw beauty of nature—truly unforgettable. The lookout offers a stunning view of the Grose Valley, even in cloudy weather, and the sound of the waterfall in the distance added to the serene vibe. The walking tracks are well-organised and safe, with clear signage and maintained paths. It's a great spot whether you’re after a short scenic stop or a longer hike. Plenty of opportunities for photos, quiet reflection, and connecting with nature. Highly recommend, rain or shine!

Amazing and stunning views all around the look out. View can be much better if clear sky conditions. Have accessible toilets, small huts made from small rocks with seats and table. Be aware of cliff and strong winds. Well maintained pathways. You can drive up next to look out and parking available. Has Wheelchair access to look out as well.

You may look lost in the forest and swamped in the mountains there, but the friendly people met there makes you feel encouraged and willingly to go further. Govetts Leap pushes tour curiosity to explore more regardless how equipped you are or how much fear you feel, it makes you courageous.

I absolutely loved this lookout area. I think the view was better than the 3 sisters and definitely less crowded. There was a lovely picnic area, and the bathrooms were clean and tidy.

Blue Mountains NP ⛰️Govetts Leap Lookout A scenic view connected to the latter one, take in the iconic Blue Mountains views from accessible Govetts Leap lookout, including sandstone escarpments, sheer cliff walls, the deep canyons of the Grose Valley, and tall waterfalls (Twin Falls). A must see and highly recommended ranging from easy to average walking tracks that will amaze you to no end.

Great place for a picnic or as we did to start some trails. Only managed to the cliff top to Evans Lookout and back as all the others were closed for maintenance.
