Cute little museum showing the history of the Franciscan monks order. You take an elevator down and can walk through the foundations and some excavations, including some skeletons.

It was a nice experience. Super cheap as you only pay to use the elevator and can cram 10 people in there and only pay once. The museum is small but quaint and with a lot of interesting information about the origins of Aalborg and the church that once stood in the place. It is unmanned so the interactions while reading are very helpful.

Interesting concept but difficult to find if you don’t know you’re meant to look for a lift. I was by myself so it was not really worth the 50 DKK but if you’re a group or family it’s a good deal. Not too much to see there except the ruins and read some history. Unfortunately it was pretty full as I got there so I felt a bit rushed to read everything.

Small but charming museum in the center of Aalborg. The museum tells an interesting story about the history of the monestary and the monks, and the exhibits are all labeled in both Danish and English. For a group the 50DKK admission price is more than fair.

It was SO HARD TO FIND!! We didn't really expect to be looking for a glass elevator... but when we got there it was a very cool and a bit different museum experience. Also: you pay the elevator for as many as can fit into it!

A great small place for everyone interested in history, hid away from the busy street level. Please note the entrance fee is for 1 elevator ride, not for 1 person.

Vary hard to find if you don't know you are looking for a lift, especially when a tour group is stood in front if it! You pay 40 kr to use the lift so not good value if you are alone.

A great experience. A piece of history uncovered and preserved in a great way. In my opinion they must do more advertising things at the entrance. I passed by there 2 days ago and never know that it was there. I visit it today based on a recomandation.
