We recently hosted a private "Galentine's Gathering" for 50 moms of high school sophomores at G&L. The team at G&L was extremely accommodating with drink specials, music requests and room arrangements. The bar staff was exceptionally attentive to our needs during the event to insure all had a fantastic experience. Many of our guest were commenting on coming back since it was their first time inside the remodeled space. We would definitely host another private event at G&L given the positive experience we had with John and Simon. Thanks for a great night out for the gals!

It was my first time back since they’ve revamped and it was so gorgeous and chic. Preston was a really fun bartender. He really does make the best cosmos. The decor is so cute. The ambiance is class!!! Great drinks!

Bartender was unwelcoming and pretentious, and funnily enough they were quiet misinformed on the subject. First off, they made fun of a customer who asked for a fruity martini, going on a rant about how no one knows what a martini is and how the name has lost all meaning. Unnecessary, but fair enough. Then as I looked over the menu, I saw they had a “margarita” and the ingredients were tequila, lime juice, and agave. I used to manage a tequila bar and for 2 years I lived and breathed margaritas, so I said “oh interesting, no triple sec or orange liqueur in your margarita”. The bartender snapped at me “yeah, that’s how it’s SUPPOSED to be”. Well, my dear friend, now that I have found my voice, I would like you to meet a little thing called the internet where a quick google search will tell you aaaalllll about margaritas, where and how they originated, etc, but I’ll save you a few milliseconds: a classic margarita is “supposed” to be tequila, lime, and triple sec. But let’s get to the real issue- can people just order what they want and drink what they want without being judged for it? I definitely got the vibe that this bar is a watering-hole type that caters first and foremost to the locals. Which is fine. But if you don’t live down the block or you don’t want to intrude on the weekly PTA meeting, I’d find another bar.

What a renovation/update this is, completely new and unique rebrand, actually had to double check to make sure I was at the right place. Great new cocktail menu, local draft beers and entirely new environment and decor. Great service, Preston was killing the bar, can’t wait to come back!

Paloma & Jepson’s Smash I used to come here when it was a dive bar but this was my first time back since it was all remodeled and it’s absolutely smashing. Great cocktails, lots of variety, stupendous atmosphere and plenty of people. Highly recommend you visit if you’re in the neighborhood - open until 2am Fridays and Saturdays (11pm on most other nights)

I absolutely love this neighborhood bar. It feels like home and Kevin, Jess, and Jenna are all amazing bartenders and super personable. Unfortunately I came in tonight (Friday) and was informed that they now have to close two hours early on the weekends. It used to be up to the bartender/based on how busy it was but for some reason this has changed.
