Fantastic hotel. Really fun atmosphere, with the college themed rooms. Attached restaurant and bar is very good. Two things to keep in mind- the restaurant has breakfast, but is not free, if you’re a certain level of Hilton Honors membership they give you a $15 voucher for food/drink, which is great. Also there is an attached parking garage, which also must be paid for. Not outrageous, as this is one of their prime hotels in a busy location, but just keep in mind when you’re shopping there might be unexpected costs.

Google
A neat idea for a hotel right in the middle of everything downtown. On the further of 9th and O st. The graduate stands out as a great hotel at a great location. With views of both Memorial Stadium and Pinnacle Bank Arena on one side and the Capitol on the other, you can't go wrong with the view in this place. The rooms are decorated creatively with an old school dorm room vibe and the hotel offers everything you could want in a location downtown. Pool, workout room, and ball room/reception hall all in one location with great service at the front desk?!? It all makes for a great stay. Come check it out.

This is in a great location with many eating/drinking options within walking distance. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. They have a neat outdoor seating area with gaming tables on the 2nd floor. The fitness center had 2 newer nice treadmills with several ellipticals and free weights along with a TV. |This was our first time staying in Lincoln and we would definitely choose here again. |Tip: parking in the garage is $23, but there are street meters for $1.50/hr that do not charge from 6pm-8am.

I booked a wedding hotel block here and would not recommend doing so to anyone else. My guests checked in and their rooms were dirty (there was an open bag of chips and candy thrown all around the room and under the beds and in the iron). Multiple of my guests complained to me about how rude the staff was to them and how unkindly they were treated for asking simple questions. I was given a free room for the night of my wedding when I complained about the dirty rooms, which I appreciate, but this room was not set aside for us even though they knew it was the day of our wedding. So, I had to have someone stay behind to check into the room for us. Also, despite booking a hotel block, no one mentioned to me that there were two major events at the hotel that same weekend. The hotel was extremely crowded as there was a conference. I overall was not pleased with the experience although I appreciate Janae's help in accommodating the free room.

I had dinner at the Steakhouse in the hotel, it was highly rated on open table. I ate at the bar ordered a Ribeye Rare, came with potatoes and ordered a side house salad. The steak was pretty good, tender was cooked to order and the rest complimented the meal well, the potatoes could have been cooked a bit more for my preferences. Salad 🥗 was also fresh and crisp with a wonderful creamy and sharp blue cheese dressing. I washed it down with a nice draft but didn't have room for dessert. Location seems to be convenient for an event at the 🏟 stadium nearby. I would visit again if in town.

Very cute and clean hotel. Very friendly staff and I love that front desk staff have signs that say what they're studying in school. The decor is what really did it for me- super cute!

Google
Fabulous room. King suite with balcony. I highly recommend. Bath is huge, shower has great shampoo and conditioner. Bed is very comfy. Jed at front desk was very helpful. He had great food recommendations. Good parking, close to everything in haymarket. Love the decor.

Google
Overpriced for a room with no coffee machine, no clothes dressers just a few hangers. A total mess for 3 women, 3 suitcases and 2 satchel. Plus no free all day coffee or water. On the plus side the morning buffet @ $15 was awesome, the staff is helpfull and the facility is clean. I will Not be returning.

Yelp
This is my second year, coming to the graduate, for my partner's work party. We always have a great time staying overnight, after barhopping in the Haymarket area. The location is just perfect! The staff always does well, last year we had a cocktail hour within the hotel, and the apps and drinks were amazing! This year, we just enjoyed the hotel, but it was clean and perfect for a night away, as usual. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
I was so excited to stay at this hotel. I booked a reservation for a concert night (I live in Omaha). The concert unfortunately got postponed at a very short notice. I understand policy of cancellations may be within 2 days of reservation, but this postponement came the before. I called right away to make sure I could cancel before my card was charged. When I called I was met by a very respectful individual that said my cancellation was approved and I would get a call from the "general manager" the following Monday to talk about a possible return date and/or refund. I never received a call. My card was charged. I never did end up staying at this property and now never will! I called on the Tuesday following the general manager expected call, due to never getting a call and my card being charged (manual entry). I understand policy. I understand the hotel now dealing with high number of cancellations at once. However, I was never contacted like I said I would be. I tried to reach out twice. Never a call back. Finally I called this past Friday. I was met by the "supervisor" on the other end of the phone, who immediately upon answering was ready for a fight. I had no anger towards her. I simply asked about the refund I was told I would get. She said that I was lied to and that I would never receive a refund. This is a very unfortunate situation. The performer canceled. This was out of my control. I paid almost $300 for this room. Never stayed. The hotel didn't have to clean it. I have now contacted my card issuer and have started a dispute. This hotel was on my bucket list. The Hilton company policy and this hotel are now blacklisted on my list. Careful when booking. If something unexpected happens, know that you will not get your money back and the customer service is awful! BEWARE!

Yelp
The good: location is excellent. Concept is good. Bikes to borrow are a huge bonus. Decor is awesome retro vibe. Coffee is decent. The bad: everything else. Room not very clean at all. Standing water in tub. Didn't even have time to get it remedied because they routinely don't allow check in until late. We paid a decent amount to check in and sleep for 7 hours. Doesn't hold a candle to The Graduate in Minneapolis.

Yelp
Hmm...this was a unique experience. I will start with the good: the location cannot be beat. It was so great to be able to go out in the Haymarket and be able to walk home. Additionally, the lobby is beautiful. Single Barrel is located inside the hotel, and while we didn't stop in during this visit, it's a great restaurant to have within your hotel. Now the rest: first, the parking garage is nothing less than treacherous. I would use a public garage before doing that again. It was expensive, filthy, and the ramps were so small that I couldn't imagine how anything bigger than our Jeep Compass would have been able to pass through. I had to close my eyes as my boyfriend made insanely tight turns. The hallways were pretty disgusting. I totally get the old, retro vibe and knew that going into it, but I don't think stains all over the floor are part of that vibe. The room was unique, and I loved the addition of the green couch/table and the makeup table outside of the bathroom - very smart. However, the bathroom didn't seem totally clean, including a shower that appeared mildew-y. Also, communal shampoo and conditioner in a hotel is a huge N-O for me. Our king-sized bed also had what was maybe a queen-sized fitted sheet. It was barely hanging on (and later came off while sleeping), and there was no way housekeeping didn't notice that this didn't fit properly. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Yelp
I was in my short bus waiting to pick up guests from the Hotel to take the wedding party to the church. I went inside & asked the front desk person if it was okay if I waited out front until they came, maybe 15 mins or so She said that was no problem. 10 mins later some incredibly rude man came out & told me to "get out of his parking spot" because it's a fire lane. Mind you, I am sitting in my vehicle & there are two unoccupied vehicles parked in the same fire lane in front of the hotel. I told the "gentleman" I had asked permission from the desk attendant. To which he responded, "she doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about. It's not up to her!" I said well the party is to be down soon can I wait since there are 2 other cars here, parked, too. He said you have about 15 minutes. He came out 3 minutes later & said "move now & don't worry about the other cars you stupid bitch". I did not say a word in response. Not once was I inappropriate, rude, or inappropriate. This man has reddish hair, a beard, wears glasses, has a bit of a speech impediment, & is completely rude.

Yelp
Feels like they are counting on the cute kitschy decor for a satisfying experience. It was cute but everything else felt unwecoming. The hotel was not ADA friendly making it difficult to get around. No in and out privileges for parking. Followed signs on the 7th floor only to find out ice is on the second floor. No guide for the TV. Towels in the bathroom seemed leftover. We will not stay here again.

Yelp
The Graduate Lincoln Hotel is a landmark near the Haymarket area close to the University of Nebraska. Events, especially sponsored by the university are held here several times per year. The parking is safer in my opinion if you park on the street of other garages. Their garage is small and hard to navigate. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Pets are allowed to stay with guests and the fitness center is decent. The restaurant is The Single Barrel and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and becomes an after hour bar. Large TV screens are located inside if you want to watch sporting events. Overall, the prices are decent and if you are wanting to stay for a university function, I would suggest this place over the Marriott or the Embassy Suites.

Yelp
The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, with a quirky style that is unique and refreshing. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating during my stay - I contracted food poisoning from a meal I had (not at the Graduate) and the staff was quick to provide extra blankets, Powerade, and applesauce packets to help me in my recovery. They also granted me a later check out time. I'll be coming back to this hotel on my next visit!

Yelp
If you're going to be in Lincoln, this is a great stop! Clean comfortable rooms. I love the college decor of these hotels, down to the room keys. Someone had fun with it. Nice attached restaurant/bar.

Yelp
First, the good. The location is great. It's right down in the Haymarket neighborhood of Lincoln. Generally the employees I dealt with have been very nice. I've stayed at this location probably four or five times and overall its an ok place to stay. But I won't be back. In typical fashion today, Management is less than honest. They charged me a $15 "Property Amenity Fee" which as we've all heard is a BS fee. I wrote to the them and ask what that included, below is their EXACT reply. The property amenity fee is a built-in fee the covers the use of things like our bike rentals, gym exclusives, FREE Wi-Fi, and coffee/water in the rooms. This is charged even if you choose to not utilize the property amenities. So the "free" Wi-Fi is really 15 bucks a day. And you pay for things you may not/did not use. Room coffee? I would just add 2$ a night. Ive been in business my entire life, this stuff we call "overhead". It would seem reasonable in a marketplace if you want to charge for something you just tell the customer. This is just a backhanded way to stick it to travelers who get this bill once they have left town.

Yelp
Worst hotel stay ever. Right outside our room was people being drunk til 12:15am, even though that area was closed at 11:00pm. People yelling in hallways and room was right by the elevator, so constant noise. DO NOT STAY HERE. Also the place is falling apart.

Mike P.

Yelp
Wow, what a management debacle. The hotel books a large event full of athletes and runs out of towels! Forty athletes come back to their rooms looking for a shower to find that there are none to be had and might not have them the next day. The staff working the front desk are clueless and do not communicate effectively. All the "unique" decor is meaningless if you can't get the fundamentals right! Not sure this is how they intended on differentiating themselves from the competition. My advise, stay with the competitors.

Yelp
Great hotel. So fun. Maddie and the others were fantastic. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Brittlin B.

Yelp
Terrible service! Good place to go if you want bed bugs and your sheets stained! My friend asked multiple times for new sheets because they were disgusting! Too much money for dirty rooms! Free drinks tho give them credit for that. Ping pong ball was also lost so don't even have a table if we can't play There was a wedding party staying there and drunk people were loud even past the hours and dogs were barking all night. Blood stains on sheets was fantastic and loved having bed bug bites all over when i woke up. 10th floor had a good view though at least! Some rooms were missing soap and they DONT clean their bathrooms let alone their rooms. Couples were being so PDA with children around! If you stay at the graduate hotel sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite just kidding they do! So disappointed !

Yelp
Wish I could have loved this place because the photos looked beautiful. However, the cleanliness of the hotel room was extremely questionable. I was in shock because when we booked it, it was labeled as a 4-star hotel. It felt like a 2.5-star hotel at best. My 8 month old baby developed pink eye after the first night sleeping here and when we checked out 5 days later, it got so bad both eyes were nearly swollen shut. We had to take him to Urgent Care for antibiotic eye drops. The headboard of the bed is a velvet fabric that looks like it's not regularly cleaned. There was major dust accumulating at the top of the headboard. Despite asking for new sheets on our third day, it never arrived within the hour like they said it would. We also asked for housekeeping on the 4th day which was not provided. The curtain in the shower soaks in the bath water, and it feels icky knowing we were sharing the germs of previous guests. There was a constant mildew smell throughout the room, and we were also unsure about the cleanliness of the carpet which looked extremely old / outdated. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the front desk employees were very kind and friendly. We ended up checking into a 3-star hotel on our 6th night where everything looked clean and immaculate, with no funny odors or dusty furniture.

Betsy K.

Yelp
Save your money and go somewhere that isn't ran by college students. Also if you book through your miles or any "3rd party" booking they will hold you at the front desk for about an hour going back and forth with their manager without telling you what the issue is. Turns out it was something on their end and had nothing to do with us. Decoration is adorable it's nothing without properly trained staff. Maybe hire grad students instead.
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
Loved the quirky student-themed decor, nice view of the Cornhusker Campus from our room, playing the Frogger machine (like the one in Seinfeld!) in the lobby. While the hotel is centrally located, the drawback is you pay extra for parking and it's a bit of a hassle to use the ramp and make it back to the hotel with all the one-way streets and construction that further muddles the situation.
google avatar

Suz P.

Yelp
Fun decor and atmosphere. Clean room even with it being pet friendly. Good location close to restaurants and campus. Looking forward to seeing other college town locations!

Yelp
This hotel is a scam they will charge your card over and over again then when you try to get a hold of them about it they run you in circles will never stay here again worst hotel I've ever stayed at

Yelp
The price was right and they allowed dogs! November 2022 - My hotel room didn't have hot water. I called the front desk and no one answered so I went downstairs to discuss in person. The front desk had two staff and lots of customers. The one woman I spoke with, I have her name written down, apologized profusely and offered me a discounted meal at the restaurant AND a free stay at another time at one of their hotels anywhere in the country! I thought this was really generous especially because I wasn't asking for any sort of compensation, I just wanted them to know there was no hot water. Turns out the entire floor had this problem. I had a nice meal and turned in. The next morning I called the front desk for an update, they told me to leave the water on for 15 minutes and the hot water should be back on to make it through the pipes and up to my room. I had a lukewarm shower. I checked out and asked about the free stay at another hotel. The same woman said they'd be sending them in the mail because there is an entire list of people that are getting the same thing, she asked me for my name again and my address again. A month later, December, I still hadn't received anything so I gave them a call, and spoke with this woman. She said I was still on "the list" and the free stay had not been sent out yet. Another month went by, January, and I spoke with a different woman at the front desk. She let me know that employees no longer worked there and that she had made many mistakes and this seemed to be one of them, but she did confirm there is a list of people who were supposed to get vouchers and she would transfer me to the General Manager. The transfer went straight to voicemail, I left a voicemail and I called back minutes later, spoke with the same woman, and she said she'd personally leave a note for the GM. I never heard back. I waited another month, February, and I spoke with a man at the front desk who forwarded me to the GMs voicemail and I left a very detailed message. At this point, I expected this free stay to no longer exist, but I just wanted to hear it from someone in charge. I never got a call back. It is now almost May 2023. Now, I've decided to post my experience for others. I do want to give a shout-out to the associated restaurant - it was delicious and their staff was great! PARKING! Pulling into the parking garage next to the building is a nightmare, and; PETS! finding a place for my dog to pee/poop was non-existent.

Yelp
$1 bottle of water for $5 dollars in your room. So they are not cleaning rooms in August 2021 but when you check in they are also not telling this fact. So if you want a $1 bottle of water in your room for $5 then this is your hotel. You'll be fine getting the low end tax. Side note. Free internet is spotty. My room was dated. Not exactly a $100+ hotel in Lincoln.
google avatar

Corky B.

Yelp
After standing in line for 15 minutes they told me to book online which I couldn't do for some reason.

Yelp
Awesome hotel, stayed here for the first time back in Augusta of 2020, since then when I travel for work and end up in Lincoln, this hotel is my home. Anthony, Jen, Andrea, everyone I forgot to mention here is always friendly and amazing. The staff are A+, customer service is amazing and the views from this hotel are beautiful. I am always requesting high floors because I'm a photographer and they always make it happen for me. Thank you guys and can't wait to be back! Keep up the great work! Stay safe! Until next time -Jamal Fura Mussa

Yelp
Perfect example of Form taking precedence over Function.. or "How Not To Hotel." No coffee maker in the rooms. No clock in the rooms. Microwave placed so low it requires sitting on the floor to operate. Soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers unreadable. Stayed here for 4 days. When I asked why no clock or coffee maker I was told they were removed to prevent Covid spread on touchable surfaces. I guess the TV remote, telephone, microwave, fridge, elevator buttons, doorknobs, and every other surface in the hotel is impervious?

Bryan C.

Yelp
Cute hotel but the front desk is the downfall. I had pre bought a night for my group to garantee early arrival and the front desk girl couldn't find our keys for 30 minutes and couldn't reach any mgmt via phone. Then numerous rooms in my group had zero AC (mine included ) on a 100 degree day, my room is currently 96 degrees as I write this and of course the front desk is zero help. I guess on to the next property in town for my stays.

Blair K.

Yelp
It had a really cute theme. But aside from that, it falls flat. Service is lackluster at best- they're avoidant and unhelpful. Walls are paper thin- which is awful when there is a room of unaccompanied kids next door and the front desk staff refuses to answer the phone. Drag racing on the street outside. Not clean- soiled linens, bathroom gross, crumbs, items falling into disrepair. Wifi is worthless.

James S.

Yelp
So, I travel all over the world, we checked in, never were informed we had breakfast vouchers, nor provided, it was 3 days before we talked to others with suites to find out there where vouchers as part of our room. No one informed us we had to request cleaning of our rooms. After day 3 and multiple requests for cleaning we had to chance down the only person in the hotel to get clean towels, which took over an hour to get. One of our party required handicap parking due to limitation of walking. We pulled into the garage this morning, no handicap spots were open, which I can understand. Until I walked out, with who appeared to be a manager of the hotel described as a older gentleman no much hair to help describe who he was, he had parked in a handicap spot for convenience, closest spot to the door from garage. Obviously for no handicap sticker was and appeared to walk far better than I was capable of walking. We have stayed here previously due to our daughter attending Dental school at Nebraska, we always had above average service. Thie trip would be described as more of a motel environment vs a higher end hotel. Very disgusted with how we were treated and the current state of the hotel environment. I will say why their staff had a "I don't really care, attitude", the sole person that seemed to want to help any way possible was the Director of Engineering, Phil Conroy. He bent over backwards doing anything he could to help enhance our experience. Net net with all our current friends at Nebraska, I will strongly recommend to stay away from this poorly run hotel.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint! The friendly staff, cleanliness and decor are top notch. You can walk to the campus of UNL. We will stay again!

Yelp
With 231 rooms, this hotel has come a long way from when it was a Holiday Inn in 2015. Purchased for $22M and renovated for an additional $7.5M, the hotel has gone from a dumpy old franchise in a failing brand to a kitschy almost throwback look to American college in the 50s-70s. While the hotel looks remarkably different and uniquely styled, still many of the same failings from it's previous skin exist. Wall mounted HVAC systems that are busted. Mold in the shower. Plumbing that disappoints with low water flow. Worst yet, the easy things to update like high-speed wifi are stuck in the dark ages. Low download speeds and embarrassing latency. The hotel's garage is unchanged too. Still a ridiculously small garage, as if the designers thought heartland hotel visitors would only be driving subcompact cars. Thankfully the gate was busted and they didn't charge me for their tiny, old and unkept lot. Checkin was fine and the hotel's goes really overboard on style. It's a shame they couldn't do this with a brand new building in a pipeline developed hotel that wasn't falling apart behind the scenes. Even the elevators felt old, didn't completely stop even at my floor and made unsettling noises. Worse yet, the doors on the rooms are leftovers from the Holiday Inn days. They've just bolted over the old deadbolt holes and added a few layers of paint. My room lacked sufficient power outlets and I found I had to use my power strip, as each lamp only had one outlet. If you're claustrophobic you won't like the bathroom as it gives an extremely tiny feel. In the shower it was dark, and this oddly placed vent at shoulder height seems out of place. They did a good job using black grout to hide the shower mold, but it's evident at the floor level where you see it on the old shower curtain. The shower curtain in my room even had other guest's hairs stuck to the bottom. Yuck! The heating in the room never worked and just kept spitting out failure codes. These were in my notes from visiting the hotel 6 years ago as a Holiday Inn. This is one property that goes overboard on appearance and fails to deliver on good, clean and reliable experience. If given the choice, I will not return.

Yelp
This is our GO to hotel when visiting our daughter who attends UNL. Walking distance to campus and so many restaurants. Always clean and most rooms have great views!

Yelp
If I could give this hotel 0 starts I would. I just left there about 30 min ago after dealing with the most unprofessional and rudest customer service personnel. When you enter a hotel the people who work the desk are your very first impression and why this woman (who's name I cannot give you because she refused to give it to me after I asked at least 5 times) is working the front desk or in any kind of role where she needs to interact with the public is beyond me. As we walked in we greater her with a "hello" and her response was "hi". After about 3 minutes of silence my partner said "do you think we can check in?" And her response was "that's what I'm doing I'm trying to pull up the screen". First strike. When I made the reservation I added a note I have 2 Frenchbull dogs (both under 20 pounds). She gave me 2 pieces of paper after asking my name and said "it's $35 a night per dog" the paper read "$35 per night and this covers 2 dogs under 50 pounds" so I asked why I am paying $70 when the paper she asked me to sign clearly stated $35. After that it was a downhill disaster. She said she needed to call her manager to confirm the pricing, which again was confusing because it was very clear on the paper she handed us. She began to get nasty and have an even worse attitude than she did when we first walked in - which I wasn't even sure was possible. I asked to speak to a manager and all she did was call him and tell him lie after lie. To skip a lot of childish back and forth where she told me I could leave I agreed and I wound up asking for a refund which she said she can't give because I booked 3rd party - I did not so I showed her my booking right from the website. Then she said she "accidentally" checked me in so a refund would take 5-10 days. Perhaps the MOST OUTRAGEOUS part of this encounter was while she was being wildly unprofessional she proceeded to call my partner and I DIKES and told us to get the f**k out of her lobby. As if this wasn't bad enough she proceeded to call her manager again and tell him we called her the N word which never once happened. I have 100% more class than that and than her. I cannot believe the blatant disrespect and ignorance this woman portrayed to paying customers. Mind you we are travel nurses who just drove from California to this hotel to sleep before continuing our drive to NY for our next contract. I could go on and on about this woman's unprofessionalism and ignorance, but I won't let her take anymore time from my life. I just want anyone and everyone who is considering staying at this hotel to know what it represents. I never thought in the year 2022 I would be faced with such ignorance.

Yelp
We attended a beautiful wedding reception and stayed overnight. Just perfect facilities. The reception was elegant, the food delicious and the entire staff really lovely and accommodating. Thank you!!

Yelp
Cute sorta kitschy hotel. Rooms clean are clean. Bed was good. Bathrooms small, yet functional with good shower. Wait time for the valet when we checked out was 15+ min because he was MIA. Otherwise a good place to stay in downtown Lincoln! Walking distance from all the restaurants and bars in downtown makes it super convenient.

Yelp
We were passing through Lincoln and needed to find somewhere cheap for the night and found a deal for this place on Priceline. Couldn't have been happier! Right away walking in they gave our dog Koda 2 treats and checked us in quickly. The lobby is beautifully curated and IG worthy for sure. Even though some people have left complaints about the amenities not being open we barely noticed. I would rather be somewhere COVID friendly than not. The room was great! Comfy bed, amazing pillows, good size tv, HBO, mini fridge, and microwave (both under the TV in the cabinet). I forgot my razor and they brought up one for me with a mini Gillette shaving cream. The parking lot was fine for us and we have a long bed Tacoma truck, so don't worry about it. Very impressed!

Yelp
Kitschy There is so much I could say but kitschy is the best word. This was a perfect getaway for a birthday celebration for my child and her best friend. The pool could have been warmer but the experience was a fun one
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Very nice place - kitschy decor is fun. Our room had a decent balcony - also, an 80s arcade game inside the room. Some useful touches too; there's a fridge in the room, USB power points, a kind of long desk and a small kitchenette. However, the missed opportunity to really hit a home run was odd. Little things like no flatware or dishes (not even paper plates) in the kitchen are so easy to fix. Also, a missing screw on the sliding glass door was annoying and such an easy fix. Super short walk to many restaurants- excellent location. We would def return, made the stay so much more pleasant.

Yelp
100th review and I'm gonna go ahead and FREAK OUT about how much I love Graduate! When I travel, the vibe of the place I stay is SUPER important to me and this hotel is what my freaking dreams are made of. The decor is stylish and interesting, unlike any other hotel I've been to. It didn't feel like a hotel, but rather, a place I wanted to hang out and spend time in. The attention to detail was also apparent in the customer service from the moment I walked in. Great location, great place to take some Instagram photos, great place to stay for awhile and never ever ever ever leave.

Yelp
Very convenient location in the Haymarket area of Lincoln, and the decor is fun. Not sure if every room is like this, but our room didn't have full length curtains that closed all the way. instead only some shorter, transparent white blinds that easily let the light in in the morning. Also, no bathroom fan or a "do not disturb sign" (so the cleaning staff tried to enter the room at 9am and I had to yell from the bed to say we were still in the room). It was an ok stay, but strange that some of those hotel-stay staples were missing...

Yelp
Great hotel with nice location and staff. Lynda at the front desk was very helpful and spirited. The rooms have clean and well equipped bathrooms. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room has excellent temperature controls and blackout curtains. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The very best part of the hotel is the free use of bicycles they have for guests. The decor and location were my 2nd favorite part. Front of house staff very friendly. Rooms are fun. The house cleaning staff could have done a better job and the gym was a disappointment. If they wanted to go full on retro equipment, it might've made more sense than what they had. Tv in workout room didn't work, foot strap on older stationary bike was broken, and no numbers on the weight machine. They have valet or self-parking.

Yelp
Ty, Brittany, and Courtney (staff) have been absolutely AMAZING! My work conference downtown coincided with a major FFA event and they were so helpful in working to get my split reservation resolve. Top-notch customer service unlike any hotel I've stayed at. hands-down plan to stay here whenever I'm in town. the fun retro rooms are an added bonus. 10/10 is not even a high enough praise for this staff!

Yelp
If you're looking for unique experience, Graduate is definitely where you want to stay. It like traveling back in time. Everything from the carpet to the wallpaper is funky. Nice pool and 24hr gym facility.

Yelp
Most comfortable hotel stay I have had in a very long time. That's not to say that I don't travel and check in often as I do, but this hotel blew my mind away with its details details details. From the most comfiest bedding I have ever slept in, to the most detailed retro vibes and feels What's not to love!!!? Will be back for sure, god willing.

Yelp
When you think of Nebraska what comes to mind? Corn and cattle mostly right? Well what about Johnny Carson? Kool aid? When traveling to a new state, I want to get to know city I am staying in. The Graduate Lincoln brings nostalgia to a whole new level! From Smeg fridges to local brews in the "chow hall" you as a guest really get to know Nebraska. Retro games and a nice kitchy sitting area really allow the guest to lounge around anywhere, as if they are home away from home. Hate leaving your pet at the kennels or with a babysitter? The Graduate Lincoln is PET FRIENDLY WITHOUT THE EXTRA CHARGE! You also get a wonderful little surprise for your fur baby with their stay! Want to ride around Lincoln but hate having to find parking? Graduate Lincoln has you covered! You can rent a cute beach cruiser (hilarious on a landlocked state) complete with a cute bell and basket to take you around the city! Going green and being health conscious never felt so good! Educate yourself with a stay at the Graduate Lincoln (or any other Graduate hotel) and find value in the city!

Yelp
The Graduate is a quirky fun hotel. The lobby and the rooms are retro decorated with many amazing deco art and furniture! The beds are comfortable and showers strong. The staff was uber-friendly. Great location in downtown Lincoln with many eateries close by. Cons: No free breakfast Parking is a minimum of $15 per night

Yelp
What a wonderful and a unique hotel! I loved Graduate Lincoln's Americana fun retro vibe. We had a room with a king bed. Everything was very comfortable and spacious and nice. The bright green couch in the room and the one in the lobby made for some memorable photos and kept us in a really great mood. The indoor pool was really pretty. And the location in the Haymarket District was perfect: we walked to shops and to dinner, didn't even have to drive! Extra thanks to Hannah at front desk for being so welcoming and nice. Dylan at the valet parking (such a convenient and affordable feature!) was great as well. Highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return to Lincoln!

Yelp
The Graduate is the old Holiday Inn in downtown Lincoln. The vintage decor is one of a kind - wood paneling, corn wallpaper and curtains, historic state laws in every room and even old student IDs as the hotel key cards. I could go on and on about the level of detail. However, the changes from the Holiday Inn to current day Graduate are surface only. The soundproofing is horrendous. Even though we were a few rooms away from the elevator, we could hear it going up and down the shaft, doors opening and closing, people talking, etc. The staff we encountered throughout the hotel were very friendly, and I recommend spending a bit of extra money to have breakfast included, it was worth it in the long run and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality. The pool area was another big miss. No hot tub and while the pool was heated, the surrounding sliding glass doors had significant gaps in them, making them unable to close so the pool room was freezing on an morning where the overnight lows had been in the 20s. In addition, they were pumping cold air into the room through the vents??? Made no sense, you needed a coat to be in there. Prices were reasonable and location is very convenient. I would still recommend the hotel, but go into it knowing some of the issues outlined above.

Yelp
I'm so thankful for the Graduate team! We were traveling through Lincoln, NE from Maine after our wedding completely exhausted. Brittany was a friendly face at the front desk & checked us in so quickly! We were so excited because all we wanted to do was get to bed. We traveled with our teardrop trailer and we were so worried about where we would park our car & trailer the whole team helped make it happen they shuffled cars around to accommodate us! Reverie was a rockstar! She was calling her connections in the city to help shuffle other cars around so are vehicle could be accommodated. There was another young lady who jumped in & helped assist too, along with Andy. The whole team really took such great care of us on a busy night. I so appreciate their kindness and willingness to help! They also congratulated & celebrated our recent marriage. It really made us feel special! We love the Graduate & stay at this hotel often when traveling across the country, but this team went above & beyond. We are so thankful!

Yelp
Cool place to stay and they are doggie friendly also . The check in and check out process was simple and friendly . The staff is great . I just wish that the lounge was open and this coronavirus thing didn't wreak such havoc on the services allowed at hotels .
