It is dirty, old, and unkept. I really question why the Hilton graduate is categorized as a 4 star hotel When you pull il there is no help with bags, staff untrained in hospitality. The lobby is quaint, decorated eclectically which is what the Graduate properties are all about. It really goes down hill when you get to the rooms. We had 2 rooms on the 10th floor. Carpet in rooms were stained and dirty. Bathroom sink clogged and drained slowly. Scuff marks everywhere. It felt so dingy that I didn't feel comfortable laying on top of the bedding or walking barefoot on carpet. No glassware in bathroom. No basic amenities like toothbrush kit, shaving kit, comb, etc. Air conditioning could not be adjusted and just ran when it wanted. The room slept warm. Location is amazing but no way will I spend this kind of money again with this property. So not recommend.

It's decorated cute, but I was grossed out when we got to our room and found dried crusty pee on the toilet seat and black and orange crud growing in the shower grout.... Apparently cleaning the grout isn't a thing (hint... Tilex works). Also, dried grout stuck in the sink. And, you have to reach in and get sprayed with freezing cold water to turn the shower on because you can't open the glass door where the faucet is....hope you like cold showers. Additionally, you can hear the slightest noise people make outside your room... Very noisy, I am a light sleeper, so that was frustrating. The beds are NOT comfortable. And if you want to hang out in the lobby for a glass of wine... Bring your own, they only have gross cheap stuff. Edited to add, the last night of our stay, one of our neighbors had a dog that was scratching at the door and barking LOUDLY. There should be some kind of rule against leaving dogs alone...or no dogs at all. I did call the front desk about it and they were more than happy to move us if we wanted, which we gave them till we were ready to go to bed to return and get their dog under control. I'm hoping they called the owners and told them to come get their dog under control. Why would people be so inconsiderate? I do put this on the hotel, though for allowing them in the first place.

If you’re well traveled, this is not a 4 star hotel. Aged, 16 floors, but the service is great. The people are kind and helpful. The room I occupied felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in a few weeks. I attribute this to the sheer amount of rooms the hotel has. There is a LOT of soiled fabric in the room with stains (chairs, carpet, a weird red cloth dinosaur above the bed with a complimentary serving of dust on it hanging right above your head…) and made it very uncomfortable to relax. There was so much dust in the room. My saving grace was bringing my own pillow cases 😭. I’m not sure, because it didn’t occur to me until the middle of the night and luckily I was only there for a night …but there may be upgrade/renovated rooms available. Ask for these. The hotel also had an aged smell when you arrive. Again, not a 4 star hotel. Maybe for the area, but not in relative comparison to an actual 4 star experience.

Loved our room, except for the bathroom. It was very large, and the doorless closet space was in the bathroom. It had a bathtub, a toilet, and sink that hung from the wall. No countertop at hall. No place to set anything except on the toilet seat. Apparently all rooms there are not like this, per my daughter who has stayed there many times. But what’s up with the sink? Thankfully, we were just traveling through and I didn’t need to get ready for some fancy event, which would have been impossible. I wish I had taken a picture, as I was very surprised in a Hilton property.

First, I would like to thank the people who work at this hotel. Very friendly, polite and helpful. The main lobby had large fans going which was trying to get rid of an odor or something else. There isn't a restaurant you have to eat at the bar. I didn't care for the food but my family said their meals were okay. Over all, I think the place needs a face lift. The location is excellent!

Google
I dinged one star because the rooms are not kept that well. Stains on the furniture and the bathroom door is wore down. Other than that, I love the maximalist design. There’s enough space in the room that the bathroom could’ve been larger. I stayed in room 1513 for 3 nights. Any room ending in 13 is a corner room, which does feel spacious. There’s a mini fridge inside the dresser. The drawers in the dresser are faux, they’re actually a door for the fridge. That’s a cool cover-up. There’s a plug on the side lamp beside the beds and one plug with two USB ports in the lamp between the two beds. AC and heat both worked well. Black out curtains did their job. There’s a fitness center on the 3rd floor. It’s quite small. I went at 6:30am and there was already five people in the gym. The room must only be like 400 sq feet, and yet another five people came in over the next half hour. There wasn’t enough weights for everyone to use, so people just had to do body-weight exercises. I will say there were a couple of company meetings going on, so maybe it’s not always that packed. But I think they should look into expanding the gym.

This hotel is very unique in its decor and services. Rooms were very creatively decorated which makes it fun. Even down to the details of the room keys looking like old student ID cards. Creative! Breakfast was great. Had the burrito. Dinner was a great burger. My only issue is the lack of food service from 12-4 and no room service at all. Breakfast only was served until noon. Then could not get lunch due to being closed. Had to order food for your room at the bar and take up yourself. Don’t want to seem bratty, but this is an inconvenience and room service is typically a provided service at many lower cost hotels. Parking was easy at the covered garage next door.

This hotel is nothing but a disgusting headache. My husband and I recent stayed here for 3 nights for the Arkansas/Auburn football game and were extremely disappointed. This hotel should be reported to the health department and instead they’re charging $580 a night. This is truly robbery. Our room was FILTHY with dust covering the headboard, hair in the bathroom, crumbs, dust and hair all over the baseboards and a bathroom sink that barely drained. The musty smell was really the cherry on top. Like other reviews mention, we did not feel comfortable laying on top of the bedding or walking barefoot on the carpet and flooring. If you are pregnant, immune compromised or get sick easily, DO NOT STAY HERE. My husband works in the hotel industry and we have never complained to a front desk but found it necessary with this experience. The manager on duty offered no refund but instead a corner unit with “maybe a better bathroom” that was freshly cleaned. At this point, we thought our problems were resolved, silly us. My husband was actively purchasing drinks at the lobby bar when we were told we weren’t allowed to eat outside food in the lobby areas (this was AFTER their own hotel kitchen was closed). Again, thought our issues were done. The next night, we were not allowed to sit in the bar area AGAIN because my ID was a paper temporary as I had to renew my license the week prior and in Texas we are required to forfeit our old ID’s. I am pregnant and was obviously not drinking but the bartending manager insisted that I leave because she’d get in trouble if the department of health showed up (wildly ironic phrase to say at this establishment) and did not understand that it was Texas LAW that my old license was surrendered. Sure, these are “hotel rules” but at $580 a night, this is horrendous. This hotel is an embarrassment to AJ Capital Partners, Hilton, the City of Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas. AJ Capital Partners and Hilton will do nothing to improve this property or properly educate and train their staff because they’ve gotten away with this robbery for years. U of A was an incredibly special place to me. This experience was extremely sour and sad. Will never recommend this property to anyone. Give your money to a different establishment.

Yelp
I highly recommend this hotel! We had great service, clean rooms and great ambiance. Plus it is within walking distance to the square which offers great restaurants and d shopping!

Yelp
When the chance for us to stay another time at the Graduate in Fayetteville presented itself, my husband booked it immediately. We've been through a lot lately & the hospitality & safety of this hotel was exactly the peace of mind we needed for this trip. The staff is wonderful, the accommodations are whimsical & clean.

Yelp
Great location, great atmosphere & accommodations. Unfortunately, the bar in the lobby wasn't quite as accommodating as the hotel. We had sat for approximately 10 minutes waiting to be waited on until we finally walked up to the bar. Rather than ask what we'd like, the first thing one of the 2 bartenders said was, "We're short staffed and we're closing at 9:00 o'clock"; on a Saturday night. She never came back to take our order.

Yelp
Graduate Fayetteville experience, professional team of people that know hospitality and go out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. The people that make up the team at this hotel are 5-star. I could not be more pleased with the experience, Chris, guest relations manager, particularly, had provided a service and I can't thank him enough for his assistance in making things happen for us when we were in a jam. Graduate is my hotel when I travel to Fayetteville.

Yelp
I'd like to preface this by saying my family does not discriminate against any body of any other religion or political view. When we got there it was IMMEDIATELY a horrible experience. The boy at the front desk was SO RUDE, and we've come to believe it was because of one of my group wearing a MAGA T-Shirt. When we got to the room, the bathroom was disgusting and there was a smell like sulfur throughout most of the room. I didn't have time to take pictures because we left so abruptly, but just trust me it was horrible. On top of that, the air conditioning didn't work and when the guy came to our room to check it out (same guy from the front desk) he told us there was nothing we could do and even after we switched rooms he told us we could not have a refund or anything so we decided to leave. When we were leaving (photos included) the two guys who are SUPPOSED to be helping us were sitting all depressed on their phones. I even saw the first guy walk over to the front desk and ASK THE GUY if he should help us and he said no. Moral of the story: If they "accept everyone" at their hotel, why were they being so discriminatory against us for our politics? This is extremely unprofessional. If you made it this far into my review, I would like to suggest the The Inn At Carnall Hall which, despite the reviews, is an amazing hotel with great service. Thank you for reading.

Yelp
New management ..............................................................zzz............maybe put your customers first for a change. When you make customers wait until 9:30pm before they can check in when it's your issue that's preventing them from checking in- figure out a way to MAKE IT RIGHT!

Yelp
Everything. I stayed here a few years ago when it was the Chancellor and am disappointed to see that the change to The Graduate meant renovation in reverse. The hotel feels old. The decor left me confused (camo carpet, color splash curtains, flower chaise, and plaid ottoman). Who decorated this? What look were they going for. It felt like a room from the tv series That 70s Show. If I get past the decor, there are NO drawers in the room for your clothes and a hole with a curtain as a closet. The faux drawers are actually cabinets for the fridge and safe. The bed was hard and not comfortable at all. I guess the cost is strictly for location because that was the only convenience. The hotel was noisy. Every night it felt like someone was dropping things in the room above me. The toilet ran constantly every time the room next door flushed their toilet. The air conditioner sound like a tractor coming on and the room temp was never comfortable. When the air was running the room was freezing but as soon as the air went off, the room was extremely hot.

Yelp
Unique hotel as I'm used to Hiltons and IHG or Marriott brands. Those are great but more cookie cutter. Unique lobby that is more of a bar or breakfast place. Lobby has real wooden floors from a long time ago. Unique products for sale. Unique decorations such as a knitted hogs head put in room like a taxidermy. Room keys are University of Arkansas notable alumni. Service is great but as it is also more of a bar no computer or business center for guest but they will print items at front desk. A gym as well as an indoor and outdoor connected pool. If they provided free breakfast it would be five stars but breakfast sandwiches are overpriced. Walls are thin - could hear conference call in connecting rooms so I put pillows at bottom of door which helped a little bit. Cool place to stay and not like any other place I have stayed.

Yelp
The room just felt dingy and dirty. I have stayed at multiple Graduate hotels and the rooms felt gross. I was so highly disappointed not use to the Graduate rooms feeling so old, dated and not cleaned. Their was a Starbucks cup behind our tv console that had fallen back between the wall and the console from the previous guest the carpet looked and was dirty. The lobby was great and so was the bar, but the room not so much.:(

Jessica F.

Yelp
Cute place, great location... but no fan in the bathrooms of the hotel rooms! Only 2 people working at the bar/restaurant during peaks times ( mornings, happy hours, dinner), only wait on you if you're at the bar... if sitting at tables around the bar, people are supposed to figure out that they need to go up to the bar and order!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Our stay extended over a weekend. The room was never cleaned during our stay, no toilet paper, and the refrigerator did not work, and the ice machine did not work on our floor. We spoke to the front desk and received no help other that being provided one roll of tissue. We will never stay there again and do not recommend.

Yelp
Altho funky/fun, there are too many hurdles to get over to enjoy one's stay. No free coffee in the lobby, which is standard in most hotels outside of NYC. And $3.25 for a cup makes me expect the coffee to be more than lukewarm. The bathtub is ice-slick and without any kind of in-tub mat. Inviting a slip/fall. The parking lot--municipally owned and run is unbelievably trying to get in if using a cc. Who doesn't? The system is slow and finicky and a single bar-gate serves as entry and exit so the traffic--and impatience--build on both sides.

Yelp
I had a disappointing experience with the hotel valet service. Despite paying for three days of valet parking, my brand new car rim got scratched. The hotel manager promised to report it to the insurance department, but after a week of no contact, I learned the valet service wasn't affiliated with the hotel. The manager then directed me to the owner via email. Save your money and opt for the $3.00 per night parking tower - it's a safer choice.

Heyit'sme W.

Yelp
The Graduate is very theme oriented but for what I paid, I didn't see what the big deal was. I didn't find that it was really worth it.

Yelp
Summoned by kitsch, soul grabbing photos I would peruse through weekly pondering if it was worthy of a trip to Fayetteville... Locks needed lites & love & alas my fair Goddess hairdresser moved that way & well you know... Late afternoon appointment requires an overnight stay! Speculatively knowing this could be as rewarding & as fantastical as my field trip to the Coca Cola factory as 1st grader where they gifted us with miniature cokes in bottles... I booked a room for one night & packed 6 outfits, 2 bikinis & the usual array of pearls, powder, & prep! Stunned upon arrival @ the absolute magnificence of the scotch plaid structure against a cerulean sky; I stepped in my idea of paradise... Although under construction @ that moment, I felt surges of do I want to come live here as I crossed the threshold onto the piney knotty floor... Service is nailed here as they greet you & make eye contact & smile as you get within 10 feet of check in desk. My room keys were two student ID's from circa the 60's.. Camo carpet, high school love notes framed on the wall & immaculate attention to detail in every respect.. (See pics) Sigh, I fell in love & would live here if I could as it was so aligned with my aesthetic & sparkly clean... Second floor is soooo fun as it looks like a collective dorm meeting room/family living room peppered with retro inspired loveliness & sun luring me to alight upon the couch & wondered where everybody was? Maybe too early post dawning de-masking to mingle in lovely spaces? Not sure.. Pool was great too as indoor & outdoor, heated & gorgeous view!!! They opened the bar & put new furniture & completed the renovation the last day I was there.. So you may ingeniously conclude I stayed the entire weekend & 5 star, plus, plus, plus!!! Locale is spectacular & nestled in downtown by boho boutiques & many beckoning eateries!!! A trillion hearts go in my documentation of my stay!!!

Yelp
This place is so great! Right downtown with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view of the university from our room. Quirky fun decor in the room. Absolutely loved the bar area, great for hanging out. AND dog friendly

Yelp
single handily the nicest hotel in Fayetteville. We called ahead to make sure there was vacancy and the receptionist was super nice and answered all my questions. we went with the double queen room. The room was exceptionally clean. The decorations are so cute! Also, the bed is comfy. If you stay around christmas time they will give you a room to see the lights on the square.

Yelp
I never usually leave bad reviews but I had to. I possible ate the worst chicken sandwich of my life at their bar. Was it even chicken? So disgusting. Tasted like a piece o defrosted and frozen again and defrosted plastic chicken. Decided to eat the bacon and sauce which was not any better. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly but that was not enough to avoid this review. Rooms don't have coffee makers... and coffee downstairs was empty the day I arrived and the next morning too. My room was not cleaned and tidied up through the day. Which was surprising and disappointing. At least the motel I stayed at last week had a signed saying no room service during stay. The bar area was overly packed and they only had one person working there. I feel bad for him, he did a terrible job with everyone because he was being pulled in so many directions. The funky retro decor is cool but not cool enough to make me want to stay here again. Forgot to mention, the heater in my room had so much dust that when I turned the heater on started smoking and activated the smoke alarm! 2 starts because everyone was very friendly but everything else was really bad! I have to add, if you need a itemized receipt of your bill, forget it. Both nights in a row they threw the itemized receipt in the trash and when I asked for it they actually had to go in the trash both times and give it to me from there. I am not kidding! I got my receipts at the far from-the-trash!

Yelp
Kaylee the bartender was a 10 on Saturday night. Sunday bar wasn't open. Since checking in the construction dumpsters emitted foul smells any time leaving the car going into the hotel. Number one rule on hospitality don't let guests want to vomit upon entry. It really really smelled like catfish bait. The graduate in Oxford ms Is sooooo much better. This place needs a lesson in service and community.

Yelp
The new bar/coffee is space is gorgeous! Stopped in for a mimosa before the game and had a wonderful time talking with Lazer. Definitely will be back for more drinks in the future!

Yelp
Clean, quirky, fun place to stay. Ideal location. Staff friendly and helpful. Lobby bar is great. If travelling with bikes, you can store them behind the front desk so they're safe. Great at accommodating their guests.

Yelp
We stayed at the Graduate for 3 nights on a long weekend trip to Fayetteville. The front desk staff was warm and helpful with all questions we had. I definitely appreciated the ability to text the front desk for any needs I had - like the fact that our room was missing our coffee maker. They were quick to respond and have one delivered to the room. There is not any parking for the Graduate specifically but the city garage behind the hotel has a reasonable entry rate. You can park on the weekends and at night in the street parking around the square for free. When I am back in Fay, I will most likely stay here again - central to the square, Dickson and campus while also easily able to access I-49 to explore more of NWA or head home.

Yelp
TV service out throughout the hotel. Not ideal when you're moving your child into college and your younger child has to stay in a hotel room. Contacted front desk about it and they were almost exasperated that I didn't know that it was out throughout the hotel (as if I would know how?) Additionally, lamp between the two beds with phone charger completely dead. Front desk said they would send someone up to change it right away. No one ever came. Avoid.

Yelp
The Graduate is my all time favorite hotel in Fayetteville for a number of reasons. It has the best location for easy access by walking or biking to the major attractions of Dixon St restaurants and bars, the University of Arkansas and the cute town square. Also free bicycles make it very easy to explore the world class bike trails that Fayetteville has. Finally the service there is excellent. Logan and the other front desk folks have been super accommodating every time I have been there. Can't wait for my next visit!

Yelp
This hotel is fantastic! We stayed for my son's graduation in December 2019 and cannot wait to get back. The entire hotel is college-quirky, themed after the University of Arkansas and the area of Northwest Arkansas. The lobby is a wonderful spectacle with a quaint restaurant/bar that is great for family gatherings. The rooms are extremely comfy and the hotel is a stone's throw from the University. And finally, the price was fair! As soon as the Zombie Apocalypse is over, we will be back to the Graduate!
