Our family of four stayed in a one bedroom room, which is normally fine. But the issue is, and the biggest issue I had with our stay. When you turn on the bathroom light, it’s like tuning on a lighthouse beacon in the room, as the glass door between the bathroom and bedroom does nothing so the light seriously blinded everyone, especially at night time when people were trying to sleep. This meant every time someone went to the toilet, we felt like fog lights turned up to burn, so the light was set at level ‘retina burn.’
Otherwise the room is big with no partitions so when the kids go to sleep, not much else as parents you can do. With very little or no storage. Add the cost of the hotel and it’s really not worth it.
Location is fine, not great or bad just fine. Breakfast was awesome with salmon, waffles, pancakes, and a nice selection of local and more western foods, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice and barista coffee. Nice toiletries and the gym was well kept though small. Limited parking, where the car itself goes in a mini lift.
Didn’t really interact with the staff, other than breakfast, but there was always staff in reception.
Because of the cost, there is no way I would stay here again, given the cost and the room configuration and blinding bathroom.
